After a fairly short while I realised that I would not be using Racebets very often as other companies such as Skybet and Bet365 are easier to bet with and promotions are quite generous. So I decided to close my account with a balance of £77. In order to pay this money out Racebets said they would want a screenshot of my bank account. My bank advised against so was unable to recover my money and I couldn'd use this money for betting as my account had been closed. I have since relented and sent requested screenshot but have refused to pay out the money and do not answer emails.
Basically Racebets is dishonest judging by my experience and the numerous complaints detailed on this website. AVOID.

I transferred 25 euros to my account from my bank via Klarna. Racebets received the funds and kept it. They are now not responding, citing my email is incorrect. They are thieves and everyone should stay away. Do not give them the benefit of the doubt. Read and obey the advice given on here.

As with the other negative reviews, they let you sign up, deposit freely but turn even a small profit and you get limited to SP prices only. When i say small i mean it it too (£0 in my case!). Complete sham of a company...they don't pay nothing only cheating

Had an account with Racebets for maybe a year and only made a few deposits and bets of a couple of £ now and then on horses. i was possibly a few £ up overall and made one small withdrawal in a year.
Minimum deposit seems to have went up to £20 using PayPal, not sure if it's the same for all now or just me,anyway betting through the link from racing post I seemed to find always an error coming up when trying to place a bet but went through on second attempt. On checking balance I saw bet had went through twice so contacted their customer help and was very kindly refunded the duplicate bet,so all was fine.
Next time placing a bet same error comes up so I goes and checks balance and previous transactions only to find a few duplicate bets in the past which went unnoticed by me ,stupid you may think but link from racing post to Racebets does not show balance when placing a bet so can easily be done,all part of the obscure Racebets experience. Anyway goes back to customer help regards the duplicate bets and this time get reply that my account has been restricted and no best odds guaranteed for me in future? Not happy about this so decided to bet my last few £ and forget this account only to find bet not accepted.
So ,life's too short for this carry on so went to withdraw my balance of the almighty sum of £6,. Now told there is problem with PayPal at present ,,funny how never a problem with any other account using PayPal,I have a few bookmaker accounts I use.
So still waiting for my puny little withdrawal after 10 days and contacted them also.
So if this is how they treat a little punter like me who was a couple £ up and queried some duplicate bets then there's no hope for any serious punter with this company who i find out is based in Malta.
Going by the other reviews on here this is usual practices from Racebets and I'm disgusted to say the least how they regard their customers, so my advice and review of Racebets is AVOID unless your a mug punter and then I'm sure they will kiss your ****
If only all bookies were like bet365 and betvictor then the punter has a chance.
Someone should make a documentary on the bookmaker and gambling industry explaining to the public just what you are up against with the greedy bad attitude to all but losers,enough said
Ps update,, just found out my small balance has now disappeared from account,
How this Racebets company can get away with this thieving of people's money is beyond my comprehension
I have mailed the gambling commission regarding this issue but have had no reply so be warned that it looks like if you want a flutter in the UK bookmakers can restrict,close your account and steal your balance and there is no apparent means to stop the practice

Restricted my account after I had a decent win. I lost 8/10 bets won 2 was about £19 profit when they sent me an email advising my account was restricted. Not in the same league as the major bookies

I don't recommend at all. Deceiving welcome offer which they don't honour. After my first bet settled I withdrew my balance and will never use again.

Liked the site and the tote features but restricted to noting for winning peanuts in Ante Post markets. At least they told me they had restricted me. Don't bother.

This company is registered and operated from Malta so beware of submitting personal data as they may not have the same data protection standards as UK. Submitted my UK driving licence (valid with the DVLA) when asked by RaceBets for verification. A few minutes later received a message saying they could not accept my licence as it was out-of-date. (verified by DVLA that it was in-date and currently valid) Then was asked to submit alternative verification such as a utility bill which I did! Again, I received a message from RaceBets that they could not accept this but did not give a reason. Up to that point I had spent a lot of time during the verification process and simply gave up in disgust. Personally I believe their verification process is a scam to entice people to give as much data as possible then probably promulgate it on to a Third Party so BEWARE.

signed up today put 50 deposit in verified my id within 2 hours win 450 and money was in my bank 8 hours after my first deposit got go say this company is the best online bookmaker I have ever dealt with couldnt believe how quick they pay out

DO NOT USE THIS SITE ..This site scammed me twice.I took a price on a horse at 3-1 .It won the paid me 2.7 ,just over 6-4...The next race I bet a horse at 2-1 it won at 9-2... and they paid me 2-1.I e-mailed them to complain and they just fobbed me off .I also didn't get my promised £20 sign up free bet offer either.Again tried to fob me off.Ive tried many betting sites,down the years and this is by far the worst...0 out if 10 for me..SHOCKING.

Dreadful! Tried to make a small bet today, only for it to be cancelled by them.
Then I received an email telling me that restrictions had been placed on my account.
I contacted them asking why, and their response was as follows:

My response to them was a bit childish but it sums up how annoyed I am

Thank you for your swift response. I am surprised that your decision is considered a business decision, as I have hardly had an opportunity to conduct any business with you. It is not for me to question your business practices but I would expect it would be in a bookmakers interest not to alienate their customers.
As such, I would like to inform you of my own business decision regarding Racebets…

I will take my business elsewhere. And I will not be recommending your business to any other person.

Opened account but immediately restricted because I had logged on on another device. Like millions of people I regularly use a laptop and a tablet to log in to various accounts depending on my circumstances. Contacted customer service but got no adequate response from them. Seems like they want you to sign up but the decline any offers that should be available to you. Avoid.

Can't Complain. Opened account - verified docs - used bonus - won - withdrew all in one day. Job done.

I did sign up for offer , send all documents to verify my account , then I deposit £10 , my first bet has settled and they didn't give me a free bonus . I contacted them and they said I'm not eligible !!!!! For what ??!!! They can't say why ??!!!!

Anyway I gave up and I wanted withdraw my money , i request it ,they send me an email we have to verify you again then we can process your withdrawal request !!!!!

I got in to horse racing this year following the Cheltenham Festival this year never previously been into gambling, with little other sport currently on I have been following the US racing. This company are advertising on a horse racing site - at the races - offering £20 in free bets if you place £10 qualifying bet at odds greater than 1/2. So I clicked the linked signed up, placed a £10 qualifying bet on quite a famous horse in a main stream event which actually lost. I thought oh well I've got a couple of free bets. These were never received. I have contacted their customer services, sent numerous emails, proved my identity, given them ample opportunity to rectify this, they never properly or directly answered my questions but I'm no longer eligible for any bonuses or promotions and they sent me some copy and pasted terms and conditions about duplicate accounts. Like other reviewers have stated earlier, I have never registered with this company before and they have not provided a specific reason why they have not honored there side of this offer.
In short, I would not recommend using this site, I certainly would not bother if you are expecting any free bets and given my limited experience of online betting the worst betting company/site I've come across.

Waste of time amateurs! No best price, no doubles & trebles, can take fixed ptice but less than tote price?? Jokers bet elswhere just no reason to bet here
