What is Raajje Archive? A registered Maldivian research, archive, public-data and evidence service. It preserves, organises and explains evidence about the Maldives. Why does Raajje Archive exist? Public information is often fragmented across ministries, laws, spreadsheets, media, social posts, archived pages and changing releases. Raajje Archive brings those records together with provenance so people can examine them over time. What problem are we solving? Important information can be difficult to find, compare, verify or preserve. Sources can change, disappear or conflict. What is our promise? Make evidence easier to find, compare and verify without hiding uncertainty, contradiction, source limits or version differences. What makes Raajje Archive different from an aggregator? We combine source discovery, evidence preservation, version control, contradiction tracking, structured observations, cross-domain comparison and controlled publication. Why the name 'Raajje Archive'? The name connects the project to the Dhivehi identity of Raajje and to the archive function: preserving durable records that can be examined later. Is Raajje Archive a government body or the National Archives? No. Never present Raajje Archive as a government department, regulator or the statutory National Archives of the Maldives. Is Raajje Archive political? No. It can cover politics, government and accountability, but it is not a political party, campaign or advocacy organisation. Is Raajje Archive a breaking-news outlet? Not primarily. Timely evidence can be published, but the focus is a durable, traceable evidence record rather than speed alone. Who is it for? The public, students, researchers, journalists, businesses, investors, civil society, councils, public institutions, professionals and other users of Maldives evidence.
