Delayed order & out of date beer

Order was first of all delayed, and it was very difficult to arrange a re delivery, I know this isn't the fault of the company but they offered no help to locate the order, and didn't reply to emails or instagram messages.
Once i finally got hold of the box, the first two beers i drank had sediment in the bottom, as a result of being bad quality or out of date.
I've written to them numerous times to get it sorted out, but keep getting either ignored or fobbed off with a "we will be back in touch soon" message.
unprofessional and unorganised, avoid at all costs, and go with one of the other beer suppliers like Beer52 for a better experience.

Sent the completely wrong order on the…

Sent the completely wrong order on the uwrong day. Will not be using this company again.

However, the company rectified their error and we did end up with the correct order.

Failed to meet next day delivery

Ordered next day, on the basis that there was a comment a couple of months ago saying they didn't use Evri. Unfortunately they seem to have reverted back to Evri, so the parcel went missing for 24 hours (no surprise there) and was a day late, missing a birthday celebration. I would advise not relying on the next day delivery service. Extra fees are being refunded, but this is not the point. My bad for assuming that if they moved away from Evri 3 months ago, they wouldn't have gone back so soon.

Hi Ann! It's Gregg here, Customer Care Manager of QWERTY Beer Box. I’m really sorry this happened, especially given it was for a birthday. I can imagine how frustrating that must have been, and you’re absolutely right to expect better from a next day service.

We’re a very small team of just three people, and we genuinely care about every order that goes out. Hearing that this let you down isn’t something we take lightly.

You’re absolutely right, we did previously say we were no longer using Evri, and I completely understand why it was frustrating to see them involved again. The only reason they were used in your case was due to a very short transition period while we were moving between courier arrangements.

We’ve also recently moved to a new warehouse and transitioned to Royal Mail and DPD for deliveries. Since making these changes, things have been running much more smoothly and we haven’t seen the issues we previously experienced.

That said, this doesn’t undo your experience, and I’m really sorry we missed the mark on something that mattered.

If you’re open to it, I’d really appreciate the chance to make this right for you. Please feel free to reach out to us directly and I’ll personally take care of it.

I ordered a Christmas gift of QWERTY…

I ordered a Christmas gift of QWERTY beer for a friend. It didn’t arrive when it was supposed to but another was sent out immediately upon being told of my problem. Again, this one was damaged in transit by the couriers who failed to tell QWERTY. I, again, told Robyn of my problem and she, again, checked things out. She discovered the damage report and offered a refund or another try at delivery. I asked that they try one more time. It was, finally, delivered and my friend was very thankful

The box arrived very quickly but with…

The box arrived very quickly but with two broken bottles. Amazing that dpd would deliver it in that condition.
Querty responded immediately and I received a replacement box (intact) two days later. Excellent service and great beer.

Steer Clear.

Wrong box sent. It arrived in decent time but stupidly I didn’t check it, you know, thinking that the company I ordered it from would send the correct item. When I let them know they promptly blamed their new fulfilment partner.

It took over a week of chasing to resolve.
I requested that incorrect order be collected - which they said would have to be done before the correct item was sent out. Then backtracked on the 3rd and said that a replacement would be sent next day - that didn’t happen.

A courier turned up with zero contact from company while I was out. They blamed the delivery company for not letting me know - it’s 100% the responsibility of QWERTY - not the delivery company.

Packaging on advent calendar when finally received really poor & doors difficult to open without using something to cut through them.

Oh - I was offered a 10% discount as an apology - they must be delusional! After that experience I would never ever use them again. Steer clear.

After my parcel didn’t arrive when it…

After my parcel didn’t arrive when it said it was delivered i even checked home cctv, I got in touch with the support team and Robyn was very helpful and got me a new parcel sent which i received today I am over the moon with it and can’t wait to gift it to the person i bought it for at Christmas.

Really nice gift sets good value

Lots of items to choose from and from picking my order to delivery was only four days . Lovely gift set and the glass for the beer is good quality . I will be definitely ordering from this company again .

A Mixed Review

The Beer Box was fine, as expected. Unfortunately there was a hiccup with the courier Evri who obviously misdelivered it - it appeared on my doorstep between 1am and 5am the day after Evri claimed they delivered it to me. Finally, there was no gift wrapping, which I ordered and paid for (it was a birthday present). Since my initial review, QWERTY have apologized, offered to refund my payment for gift wrapping and are taking steps to disassociate their company from the courier Evri. Finally, I repeat that I was totally satisfied with the Beer Box product.

False and misleading delivery times

I ordered a box of beer for a present on Express next day drlivery. It didn't arrive next day and still isn't here. Strangely, the email from Qwerty gave the delivery as Evri 48. Erm... not express next day, then? And the Evri email said we aim to deliver within 48 hours. Just another terrible lying internet company that makes promises and fails to deliver. Just get your goods from a company you can trust and avoid this company.

It's Niki here - co-founder of QWERTY Beer Box. Sincere apologies to hear our courier settings didn't pull through on our order! It should pull through automatically on our order management system but clearly it didn't work in this instance which is very unusual. We've escalated this to their tech support! Since you enquiry we've been in touch and refunded you the Express Fee of course.

Since October 31st we stopped working with Evri and only use DHL and DPD now and are a lot happier with the courier performance. Our delivery accuracy for the year is at 97.2% which we're quite happy with overall but there's always ways to improve this further!

I like the idea of what you do and where the ale comes from different parts off the world...I don't think it's worth the monthly subscription...I will be cancelling my subscription. Thank you

Beer advent calendar

Ordered a beer advent calendar with free next day express delivery as a new customer. No update on dispatch or tracking, after a small delay in communication, the company have just informed me that the calendars don't ship out until October but you can have it earlier if requested.

Many thanks for your feedback! Yeah we did have a few days shipping delay with some of our Advent Calendar packaging.

We reached out to all customers/ live orders informing them of the 4 day delay and had a few Advent Calendars ready to dispatch in case anyone needed for the last days of September!

These delivery delays happen but I apologise about not being more upfront to you about this! I saw we only reached out the next day!

Received a 3 beer gift box for my…

Received a 3 beer gift box for my birthday. One of the cans arrived damaged so I reached out directly to Qwerty Beer Box to see if they could hopefully swap it out or send out a replacement. Instead it was a long strung out process, ultimately having to contact the 3rd party that sent the items out.

Not a good experience.

We've done some digging and after speaking with our customer service team I understand that you had ordered from a 3rd party - not directly from us.

This is what makes the situation a bit complicated and why we’re unable to send a replacement directly. It’s similar to ordering something from a farm shop, only for it to be damaged during delivery - and then asking the original farmer (who supplied the product to the shop) to replace it. It’s certainly a frustrating situation, and we completely understand how disappointing it must be.

That said we appreciate you taking the time to give us the feedback and we will bare this in mind as we continue to strive to delight our customers and champion independent craft beer.

The customer service was amazing

The customer service was amazing. I had to make a delivery query and got a response the same day. Due to errors, that had nothing to do with Qwerty Beer Box, I needed help and everything got sorted really quickly and with no problems. Emails were all friendly and very helpful, I was so grateful.
My dad also really enjoyed the ale and snacks. I would highly recommend this company and intend to use them again for further gifts.
