Chases renewals but ignores claims

Took out building and contents cover with an additional schedule for my ebike. The bike was stolen in November and, despite sending a detailed description of the incident, Crime Reference number, email correspondence from the police and the original invoice from the shop, and having chased Quote 2 Insure and it's agent 'The Davies Group' multiple times at not insignificant expense and inconvenience in extended wait times, have had no substantive update on the status of the claim or even whether it is in progress at all - I've received no form to complete, no questions have been asked, nothing.

Quote 2 Insure have been very quick send out multiple renewal reminders, including doubling the renewal quote given the claim that it is refusing to take responsibility for progressing.

It would seem that Quote 2 Insure is in the business of harvesting premiums but washing its hands of any actual claims, leaving that to arms length subcontractors. My advice would be to stick with reputable companies who take responsibility for processing claims.
