It starts with the first contact via a telephone call . Then there's the appointment booking which is planned to suit both Quingo and myself. Then at the appointment Paul Nicholson allows to test as many from the range as I felt comfortable about, Paul was amazing laying out the pros and cons of each scooter.. there's no push to order just knowledge ..
And now there's the after sales team to arrange delivery. Followed up with delivery day .. I have to say from beginning to end of the process I love my Quingo

I saw the Quingo Connect Powerchair on social media, so I made enquiries about it, due to health impacting my mobility, i wanted something that was easy to use and would fold up to go in the car. I booked a test drive and a lady called Tracey came out to see me and my partner. Tracey was some friendly and helpful it made my decision a little easier. Tracey went through everything and from seeing Tracey to the chair arriving Quingo's staff have all been friendly and helpful.
I find the Quingo Connect Powerchair, comfortable, nippy and easy to handle, I feel safe in the chair and when going up little ramps or hills it is safe as it has the the stabilizers on the back.
I highly recommend Quingo and the Connect Powerchair, they have made my life a little more easier and I have a little more independence back.

My Father's mobility has been deteriating, so we decided to purchase a £3000 mobility Scooter to allow him to get out and about. We wanted a scooter that would work well and and last. However after 12 months, we had a major problem with the control panel and the Scooter did not work. The Scooter was only a month out of gauentee when this happened. After a long wait, we were able to get a person from Quingo to fix the scooter, however the first person did nothing to fix the Scooter but still charged a £79 call out fee. The second person who actually fixed the Scooter did a brilliant job and was very friendly, and gave us a quote of £174. Later we recieved a call where with the call out fee it was £253, where the lady reiterated that it was our fault for not extending the warrenty and looking after the scooter. My father is a disabled pensioner, he does not have much money and paying £3000 was already a big investment. He does not have the money to pay for extra warrenty. Products at the cost we paid should not break or have major faults after only a year. My Father's old scooter cost £300 and lasted nearly 8 years before having any faults. Therefore this has been an incredible waste of money. Please be careful when buying from Quingo, as they are incredibly expensive and have no care for their vunerable customers.

Excellent quality and workmanship, using this mobility scooter makes you feel safe and relaxed. The ability to mount kerbs is excellent and safe. The adjustments for foot plates and seat feel as though they are made to measure. Staff are courteous and helpful.

UPDATE to be fair I have raised to 3 stars again, I have given a little time to test it out and since the cutting out incidents and it has been OK why it happened I don't know but it's been OK since so ......... benefit of the doubt.
Down to 1 star again, kept cutting out on me today, 2nd time of using since the wigwag controller was fixed back on, realised it fits on a small post sticking out of the tiller and does not seem very firm, the jury is still out .....
Upgraded from one star to three - 10 days later.
I SHALL BEGIN WITH AN UPDATE TO. BE FAIR, IF YOU WANT TO READ FURTHER TO DISCOVER WHAT HAPPENED IN THE FIRST PLACE ITS IN YOUR HANDS .....
Tom the Quingo engineer arrived this morning, as promised, at 8.45am. I had been told my visit would be between. 8 and 10 am so I was pleased he was early as its a nice day for a change and I can go out shopping later. Tom had to use an allen key to replace the wigwag (control lever that had fallen off) he said it should never have happened and he hadn't seen it before which makes one wonder if it had not be tightened correctly in the first place? I suppose we shall never know, fingers crossed it doesn't happen again! Anyway I digress, Tom gave the scooter a thorough check over, even testing batteries and tires, and a test run was performed to ensure we were satisfied. Thank you Tom.
I have had my Quingo since May 2025 and it's now 2nd March 2026, Last Monday I was in the supermarket and the control lever fell off onto my feet making it impossible to move as its the lever you push with your thumb to go forwards or backwards! After waiting a week for an engineer to sort it I had a call this morning saying the engineer isn't coming today as he isn't well, apparently they are fully booked this week so the lady on the phone said she will look again and call me back but she obviously doesnt realise I need it fixed as soon as possible as Im stuck in the house! Im disabled for goodness sake, surely it is obvious? I already waited a week and have been unable to get around the shops I need it fixed ASAP! The control lever should not drop off and I have lost trust in the scooter as surely it should be reliable???
UPDATE
eventually got a call back after opening a chat on their website, someone is coming on Wednesday morning, hopefully, providing they arrive ....... watch this space
FURTHER UPDATE a man called Sam rang me this afternoon full of apologies, telling me the engineer is coming Wednesday morning and that he wants to ensure this problem never happens again, to me or anyone else. I am hoping the issue gets sorted to my satisfaction because at present I have lost trust in the scooter, a mobility scooter for a vulnerable disabled person needs to be reliable doesn't it?
