Horrible connection with Quantum

Horrible connection with Quantum. Multiple calls a day sometimes and at least a phone call to them about 4 days a week or more. I cancelled the service and returned the equipment per their instruction on January 21, 2026. I even called the day that I returned the equipment and gave them the tracking number as requested the day that I dropped off the equipment at UPS. Today, my checking account was hit by Quantum for $478.29 for unreturned equipment. This left me with an overdrawn account…..thank god I looked at my account this morning. The equipment was received by Quantum on January 26, 2916 at 9:06 am, by someone named Joyce. Even though they received their equipment back, they still charged my account. Be careful doing business with Quantum

No stars wasn't a choice!

On hold for 35 minutes only to be connected to a third world call center. Explained a unknown charge came through for $487.95 and was told it was for non returned equipment 3 Mesh Pods worth nothing on the secondary market. Explained I sent this equipment back 7 weeks prior but was ignored. I disputed with Paypal and CC company and in the meantime after 5 hours of searching found the PDF I sent to printer and did a search on UPS showing items were delivered Feb 9 after 3 days in transit. This is a common tactic of these slimeballs for dark $ from the unsuspecting. This is getting worse with AT&T now in charge. Seems like the two system integration is seriously broken. Terrible accounting and reconciliation methods. Run away from these clowns and save you sanity!

If I could give them less stars, I would.

If I could give them less stars, I would. We don't even have internet yet. Their technician was a no show on Saturday because they overbooked. We lose internet on Wednesday with our other provider, and they can't get someone out until Friday and they can't guarantee that. My card has already been charged and now I'm waiting on hold to cancel, so I can get my money back. I've been on the call for 50 minutes. What a mess! I'm going to file a chargeback with my bank.

They unscheduled my appointment with no notification to me. I sat around for hours until I called customer support which took 15 minutes on hold. Just for them to only offer a reschedule. They won't respect your time or compensate when your time is wasted. Had to pay an extra month of my other provider since they had no appointments before the month ended. It's every major company that is like this, I hoped Quantum Fiber would've been more pleasant than Xfinity but no.

I absolutely DO NOT recommend Century…

I absolutely DO NOT recommend Century Link/Quantum fiber after my most recent experiences with them. I had them in a previous house with no problems, however, at my current house they have been a complete nightmare and have raised my blood pressure as a result.
Last August when I moved into my new home, I had scheduled install. The man that showed up said it would be a multi-person job and could not install that day. The following week another man showed up by himself and installed it, by himself, with no issues. Fast forward a month or two and I started having outages, for multiple days before they could send someone out to fix it on the utility pole. No type of refund or apology from the company for the outages. The most recent techs told me the equipment at the utility pole is going to continue to have outages and that they will have to come out each time I have an outage to reset the equipment on the pole. I decided to cancel service and went with Verizon, which has been much better. I returned the equipment via UPS because they threaten to charge you $200 if you do not return their equipment in a timely manner. Today I got an email that they never received the equipment and are charging me $186. I am currently on a 30 minute hold so I can give these con artists the tracking number for their shitty equipment.

If I could give them a zero I would

If I could give them a zero I would.
I had Centurylunk for 5 yrs, working from home, no issues or outages.
1 month ago Quantum/ATT took over and now I lose wifi, tvs buffering, slow internet speeds. They came out 2 weeks ago and replaced modem and router.
Today, I wake up to text mssg regarding an outage. Outage resolved 2 hrs later but my new modem cannot receive a signal so I lost a full day of work. After 2 calls to their Customer Service/technicians, the first service call date is in 6 days! I literally won't have a job! Nobody calls you back when they say they will and if you ask to speak to a manager, you get sent to a mssg that says, "no voicemail is set up" CLICK, DISCONNECTED!
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY, READ ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!

Bad customer service and no…

Bad customer service and no communication. Two of my WiFi pods died and they’re “out of stock with no estimate of when they’ll be back in stock.” So now I’m left with only one pod and shitty WiFi coverage in my house, worse than a regular WiFi router offers. And they communication on this was non existent. When I ordered the replacements the rep said I’d have them in a few days. When they hadn’t showed up a week later I had to get on chat again and only THEN did they tell me they were out of stock, no email was sent to tell me the order was delayed. When I asked the 2nd rep if I’d get any updates or at least an email when they shipped, nope, just an email when it’s out for delivery. When will that be? Nobody knows. Will I be home to receive the delivery? It’s a mystery.

Quantum Fiber is an absolute disaster

Quantum Fiber is an absolute disaster. They aggressively sold us on their “reliable, high-speed” service, and what we’ve actually received is a joke. Our business internet goes down every few weeks—completely out—for over a day at a time. Every outage comes with a different excuse, none of them reassuring, all of them useless.

This time? They “don’t know” what’s wrong and can’t even be bothered to send a technician for more than two days. Meanwhile, we’re left scrambling while our business—yes, the one that depends entirely on internet—takes the hit.

This isn’t just poor service. It’s negligent, unreliable, and completely unacceptable for anyone who actually needs their internet to function.

Similar experience to many here

Similar experience to many here. First outage after a couple weeks and it’s 6 days to get a tech out to diagnose. I work from home so this is totally unacceptable. Thankfully, I hadn’t disconnected the old service yet. I should have listened to the reviews but the price was too good to pass up. Google fiber already in the ground and about to open up service soon. I’ll wait it out and go with them.

Do yourself a favor and don’t do it!

Worst service ever!

Worst service ever!! I have had a few internet providers over the years and Quantom Fiber has the worst customer service, the speeds are not close to what thwu advertise and there are so many outages. I would not recommend to anyone. I work from home often and end up using the Hotspot on my phone at least a couple times a week.

The Worst Internet Coverage and Customer Service

I’ve had an incredibly frustrating experience with this internet provider from start to finish. The service itself is unreliable—frequent outages. They have replaced my cable boxes and still my internet continued to have outages.
What makes it worse is the customer service. Trying to get help feels like a waste of time. Long wait times, unhelpful representatives. I called on Monday March 23rd as I had no internet and after a long time with the customer service they said a tech could come on April 1st. April 1st!! 8 days with no internet is absurd.
For the price being charged, the quality of both the internet service and customer support is completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this provider to anyone looking for reliable internet or decent customer care.

I would give 0 stars if I could

I would give 0 stars if I could. Our Internet stopped working this morning all of a sudden and when called to get it fixed ..getting an agent on call was near to impossible after long waiting on line for over 30 to 45 mins. After getting through also.. they were of no help and said a technician had to come and take a look.. and the first available appointment that they had was 8 days from now on April 1st . In today's day.. where Internet is needed for everything they expected us to wait for 8 days. And when asked to cancel the service as the wait is long.. they said they couldn't give the refund of the monthly payment that we already made. Wooow!!! So much for trying to work from home. My advice never go with quantum if you want reliable service. We have had quantum for 3 months now and as far as everything is running smoothly, it's fine but as soon as you have issues, they are hopeless with service. STAY AWAY. I don't give reviews easily but this tested my patience and my sanity today. STAY AWAY guys!!!

Review – Quantum Fiber

My experience with Quantum Fiber has been extremely frustrating and unacceptable.

I scheduled an installation and was explicitly instructed to cancel my existing internet service beforehand. However, when the technician arrived, I was told that the required infrastructure was not ready, making the installation impossible that day.

The next available appointment was nearly a month later, which is completely unreasonable—especially after being advised to cancel my previous service.

I contacted customer support multiple times (four calls total) and was escalated to a supervisor who made clear commitments to resolve the issue and arrange a prompt installation the following day. None of those promises were fulfilled. No technician showed up, and no follow-up call was ever made.

This demonstrates a serious lack of coordination, accountability, and basic customer service. I was left without internet due to their internal failures, and ultimately had no choice but to cancel the service entirely.

For a company associated with AT&T (as it is widely understood), this level of disorganization and lack of professionalism is extremely disappointing.

I strongly recommend that anyone considering this service think carefully before committing, especially if reliability and customer support are important.

Awful Customer Servi

Quick with the install but then customer service is AWFUL. 7 days for an appt to diagnose my internet service that suddenly went out. I really had hoped they were better than Comcast. 7 days to dispatch a tech?

Service goes out A LOT, days before restored!

I've had Quantum for three months now. The service has gone out three times in the last month. Each time, it's taken four or five days to get repair person to me. Two of those three times it was caused by a serviceman hooking up a neighbor and accidentally disconnecting us. This happened twice inside a week. Each time when I had it reconnected, the serviceman told me it's because AT&T (who took over operations) has gotten rid of all the full time servicemen who knew what they were doing in favor of subcontracting out to individuals who clearly don't understand the system. When it's working, it's great. But clearly AT&T has cut corners, and it's really showing.

My ISP was recently acquired by Quantum…

My ISP was recently acquired by Quantum Fiber. Although the transition was seamless, the rest was just bad. I went on their website and discovered that I was paying more than their current customers so I contacted them to request the same pricing. The rep told me that is not available to me and told me to get the pricing I will have to cancel my service but he then said he doesn't recommend it. I decided to search for other provider because I don't view they value my business. Most other businesses would've offered me the better pricing because that's what they are offering their other customers so it's not like they are losing revenue. Anyway, I decided to switch to a new provider and cancel my service with Quantum. This is the second issue with them. They told me even though I am cancelling mid billing cycle, I will not recieve a refund for the remaining billing cycle. This is ridculous! I have never dealt with a provider that doesn't prorate billing. Perhaps I am expecting too much but this is just another indicator to me that they just want to gouge their customers.

I took PTO for an installation that they didn't tell me they can't do

I was told that my address was eligable for internet and made an appointment on the phone. I got a confirmation text and had to reply to it to confirm the appointment for installation, all very standard. The day comes and nobody shows up, I was never contacted. I called and asked if there was a delay installation at another location and was instead informed that they couldn't even do the install due to a legal battle with the power company over installing fiber internet. Nobody told me. I wasted my PTO for nothing, to make things worse, I asked for all my data to be removed from their system as they had no idea when they could even start installing. They refused and said that it couldn't be done, it's their policy to keep all my data. After working my way up the chain of employees (roughly 30 mins later) I was put on hold while some higher up was finishing a phone call with someone else. I was then hung up on. I called back, was put on hold and hung up on. Repeat this twice more before someone finally called be back and was able to get my data removed. If I could give zero stars I would.

Trash can company. Trash is their product.

Garbage can company with trash as their product. Their headquarters is your local dump. Their employees are all sourced overseas so they can take advantage of both the customer and the employee. They lie about their capabilities. They are dishonest with their sales packages. They can't even show up to bury the fiber they install and it will sit on your yard, exposed to the elements and foot traffic, for months and months. Maybe indefinitely. If you plan to downgrade your plan, you will have to have new equipment installed and you will be without internet for weeks while you wait. You will regret using them, and that is a promise that I will bet lunch on. This is unacceptable for a company who makes most of their money selling all of your data to other companies. Anything you do on the internet is logged, saved, and sold to anyone willing to pay for it.

Great service, fast and reliable

I've had Quantum Fiber for about 6 years, never had an issue. My price has been a static $80/m for as long as I've had them. The speeds are great, doesn't change throughout the day, never had it go out.
