Where do I start...
Like most wedding photographers, the initial conversation was fantastic. Charasmatic, thoughtful and organised were how they came across.
We had a package booked in with this 'family run business' for close to 2 years. Deposit was paid early on. As we got closer to our big day, we emailed to discuss closer arrangements, we were ignored. We called, and were ignored. We finally got a response 3 weeks from our big day asking us to rearrange our wedding day as this would better for them.
This seemed abit suss to me. We had this booked in for close to 2 years. They then told us they can't go ahead with our original day as they are going to photograph someone else's wedding. It turns out someone had paid in full nice and early to persuade them to cancel. I didn't know wedding photographers could be 'bought' but there we go.
No communication
No apology
Reluctant to refund
If you can help it, do not go with this business, you can be dropped like a hat just as easy as we were.
