Was searching Google to generate a QR code, and sadly the first opened QRCode link which charged me I think $1.95 which lasts 7 days & by accident noticed the fine print that after 7 days it just bills your card but for $6.99. I was genuinely shocked & when you cancel you lose access to your QR code. I decided to cancel of course. So I searched again on google & thank God I came across this amazing website that generetaed a beautiful QR code with hearts in it too! I usually don't leave reviews but this service was truly amazing. Thank you so much.

I’m another that fell foul of this trap! When creating a QR code there’s no mention of crazy monthly fees. They wait til you have created your QR code, I had stickers and promo content printed… then comes the email… Pay up monthly or the QR code is deactivated. It’s so expensive I’ve no choice but to throw all my stuff in the bin and start again.

Do not be fooled by the obviously manufactured 5-star reviews on this page. The genuine 1-star reviews reveal the truth about how this company operates, and my experience was no different.

I used their service for physical promotional flyers. At no point during signup or setup was I clearly notified of a "free trial," nor was it made transparent that keeping the QR codes live would require a forced annual subscription costing hundreds of dollars. They bait you into printing physical materials, wait until your campaign is live, and then deactivate your links to hold your work hostage for exorbitant annual fees.

To make matters worse, when they attempted to process an unauthorized payment of nearly $200 USD ($275+ CAD) - far beyond what was ever disclosed - my financial institution flagged and blocked it immediately for suspected fraud.

Before support replies to this review with their canned boilerplate excuse about "clear terms and conditions" or "free trial periods": save it. Your pricing model is deliberately deceptive, hidden behind fine print, and designed to trap independent creators and small businesses.
This entire experience, along with screenshots of the deactivation demands and deceptive billing attempts, has been documented and formally submitted to consumer protection bureaus (including the BBB) and payment processing fraud departments. Avoid this scam at all costs and use static QR code alternatives instead.

Once you get through your free trial your options are only for annual prices starting at $130 a year. I accidentally read it as monthly not annually (I was coming home from my grandmothers funeral and was not in the right mindset) once I realized my mistake I attempted to ask for a refund for my error, they denied it. This company is only after your money.
