Avoid this service. It was not clearly communicated that I was signing up for a trial. I created my QR code and went to print believing it was free, only to find out afterward that the trial had expired and payment was required to keep it active.

They advertise a monthly rate, but customers are forced into an annual subscription with no actual monthly billing option available. Customer support is limited to an unresponsive automated chat. Given how quickly they provide pre-written responses for billing complaints, this is clearly a frequent issue that they choose not to fix.

The pricing structure feels misleading and I would recommend avoiding them.

The site was very easy to quickly create a QR code. There are many configuration options as well.

Tricked me into getting an annual subscription, even though it was clearly advertised as a monthly subscription. When I tried to cancel refused a refund. Charged me more than $100 for less than a week of service. Horrible, horrible company. Their sign-up flow is intentionally misleading.

Like many others I was led in under the pretense of being able to create a free qr code. I needed one for an ad in support of our local queer community. A few days later, after submitting the artwork and with no way to change it, I received an email telling me the QR code is inactive since I don't have an subscription.

I now have no other choice but to pay for a subscription if I want the qr code to work and with no other subscription other than 'annual' available this single qr code will end up costing me $110.

So hurrah for you clever men who came up with this ingenious way of swindling people out of their money. It takes a certain type of person to come up with a scheme like yours and since decency is lost on you, I hope at least you love the money your little hustle must be bringing in. I suspect that's the only love you have in your life.

This was so simple to use! Exactly what I wanted/needed!

I made a QR code for my wedding invitations a year ago. When I made the code, I was under the impression this was a free service, with no indication it was a subscription. I printed my invitations, and a week later was informed from the website that I needed to pay to keep my QR code. I only needed the code for two months, and picked a subscription that looked to be month to month. About 11 dollars per month. Then when I submitted my card information it went through as the entire year, $141. When the year ended it charged me again as an auto renewal. I tried to cancel the subscription immediately upon receiving an email about the auto renewal, but was charged anyways. I tried contacting them, but they said there was nothing they could do because they notified me of the renewal. I did not get any advanced notification before the renewal was made. I am very disappointed with all of the hidden fees throughout this QR website, and feel very taken advantage of.

This website stole my money. They refuse to refund it, thereby violating their own terms of service. I do not recommend it; it's a scam.

It's a despicable lie. They don't care about customers at all; an AI responds to you instead of a human, they say they'll get back to you within 3 business days, but it takes 2 weeks. They're violating their own terms of service.

A brief summary of the whole story and QRgenerator's approach.
They advertise the service as “Free,” but after you generate a QR code, you'll receive an email saying that the QR code will expire in a week and that you need to pay. If you decide to pay, it shows you a monthly fee of $10–$30, but after you place your order, they automatically raise the amount to $150+ and immediately charge you for the entire year instead of just one month.
Immediately after being charged this amount, I contacted customer support. Even though I hadn’t used the service (an unfair practice), the company refused to allow me to cancel the contract or refund the amount, even though I’m an EU resident and am entitled to cancel within 14 days—as, incidentally, is stated in the QR code’s creator terms and conditions. After pointing out the option to withdraw within 14 days in the EU, they told me I was not entitled to do so due to their internal policies.
After I brought this up again, they pointed out that a purchased digital product cannot be returned. It’s a shame, though, that this isn’t a digital product but a service. Therefore, the right to cancel the contract does not lapse; at most, the online service provider is not required to refund the full amount but must deduct an amount based on the number of days the service was used...
I’m still waiting for a response.

I’ve described the entire issue to you about 10 times in emails to support @ qrcodecreator.com, and you just keep making excuses and take a very long time to respond. If anyone from your company is truly interested in seeing how you’re violating your own terms of service, here’s an example: ticket ID #115304182.

The entire matter has been referred to my bank for investigation, and a complaint is currently being prepared for OLAF. So, please. QR gerating is free and never ever use this SCAM site!!!!
