Beautiful Themes, but They Don't Work and NO Refund

I purchased the Solene theme by Qode through a 3rd-party site called Theme Forest. While Solene is a very beautiful it was overly complex to install and work-with (I'm new to website building) -- I burnt 4 days trying to get it the theme to work on my Go Daddy Word Press site -- set the configuration correctly as they specified, theme sample import kept failing. After much effort I did manage to import the sample content only to find it was still broken.

While the theme is beautiful it is quite complex to use and I couldn't augment it to leverage for my own site. In the end, I abandoned it for a much simpler theme.

Don't believe Qode's 14-day theme refund policy, nor Theme Forest's 30-day theme refund policy.

Qode refused to provide a refund, despite their policy stating that "If you are not happy" you can apply for a refund within 14-days of purchase.

Qode kept coming up with excuses:
1. They told me that they would only provide a refund if there was a bug
2. They told me that their refund policy is different if purchased through a 3rd party

Theme Forest pointed over to Qode to adjudicate a refund.

Think twice, don't buy themes from Qode. I found their practice to be dishonest

I spent $50 to have their support to…

I spent $50 to have their support help me solve a very small issue. It should have been done in 10 minutes, but instead, they took an entire day or even four days (including a weekend and a holiday) to answer my follow-up questions. It is taking too long, which is totally unnecessary and unproductive. To this day the issue still hasn't been solved. I wish they had a chat feature or a phone number. It is not worth $50.

Incompatible theme, expensive, slow and minimal support

Firstly my theme Henrik seems to be incompatible with a load of things on Wordpress and my site is constantly breaking so it's costing me a lot (money and time) to constantly get it fixed.

One thing it is incompatible with is Elementor Pro which is really unfortunate as I wanted to use it to create my footer (theirs are too basic) In the end I've had to pay a developer to produce my footer which has cost a lot of money. I certainly didn't know this when I bought the theme! I had to buy an additional 6 months of support at $75 to learn about this.

When I've had problems with my heading typography breaking, support have said it is probably because the theme is also incompatible with one of my plugins. They suggest turning all of my plugins off and turning them back on again one by one!
I paid $75 for this advice!
They also take days to reply, I can't believe how expensive the support is and how little support you receive. All they ever tell me is that my theme is incompatible. I don't recommend them, the theme looks great but basically doesn't work! I wish I'd started out with a mainstream theme with good reviews and performance. Also they've not updated it since 2021. NOT RECOMMENDED!

They are scammers watch out for them!!

I purchased an overpriced theme for $85.
I thought it would be great but the opposite is true.

1) Demo import never worked and doesn't work.
2) The contact form is broken and overall the plugins don't work as they should..
3) They promise that the theme can be translated into other languages. They don't offer such a module/plugin and the theme has errors when translated via plugins, code, even via poedit, poeditor. Terrible.
4) Their interface on which their themes work has technical problems, bugs, security vulnerabilities and holes in the code.
5) The themes are extremely slow. They require a lot of plugins to function.
I have dedicated servers, Cloudflare Enteprise, and Intelligent AI Cache + sometimes I use Wp Rocket as well. What can be faster than this? And the theme takes 15 seconds to load.
6) I use Slider Revolution, which is stolen and cracked. They are selling an illegally obtained plugin!
7) The contact form doesn't work and never has.
8) The theme is unresponsive.
9) They use about 15 widget sections to function and thus the admin panel is slow.
10) They do not support new versions of Woprdress or PHP.
11) THE WORST THING THAT EXISTS IS THEIR SUPPORT!
I have tried for 12 days to solve my problem and have learned nothing.
Jovana from support wrote me back very unprofessionally to my questions.
If I asked about problem "A" she answered about problem "B". Evasive and unprofessional answers that many times had nothing to do with the topic.
It's a waste of time and health in the face of stupidity.
Of course today they arrogantly terminated support and told me to create a new ticket.
PS: they reply to a ticket within 48 hours even though they promise 24 hours.
Terrible!

DON'T BUY THIS!
THEY WON'T REFUND YOUR MONEY!

Not worth the time or money

The plug-ins have been generally pretty good, but the theme library in action is utter trash. Everything breaks with a simple touch, it's not malleable and doesn't allow for customization. They're beautiful as is, but once you start using them, the editing/settings/options are completely unintuitive and will really make you want to rip your hair out.

Support is non existent as well.

Please beware before purchasing a theme…

Please beware before purchasing a theme from this company. Many of their themes are not designed from existing WordPress sites and would only work if you imported their demos and just changed the images and text. I added a theme to my shopping site, which broke the entire site (thankfully, I first tested it on my staging site). They refuse to refund me for the theme I can't use and are still dragging this issue out for almost two weeks, wasting precious time I can spend growing my business.
Don't be fooled by their themes. They will not look the same at all if you are using them on an existing site.

They deserve the Sean Seal of Approval!

Seriously?! How has no one written about the great themes that this company provides?! I've been using them for a number of years and they are the real deal. They deserve the Sean Seal of Approval and I am now giving it to them! Great work, guys, keep it up...
