From start to finish Veronica Hrituleac was brilliant. Always happy to help, explained things in a way I could understand and made the whole ISO 27001 process a lot easier than I expected. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she was always quick to come back to me when I had questions. A real credit to Citation and I’d happily recommend them to anyone.

Citation, and in particular Chris Irvine, were absolutely excellent throughout the ISO-9001 audit!

It was potentially a very difficult audit because I had only recently taken over responsibility for the ISO-9001 system, and it had not been actively maintained since the previous certification cycle. It seemed extremely daunting, and I actually tried to delay the audit again - I had previously moved it right once, but as this attempt was within 3 days, it would have come with a cost and a negative impact on our certification.

I really needn’t have worried though, as Chris approached the situation with exactly the right balance of professionalism, structure, patience, and practical support. I was almost expecting to be berated and embarrassed for not having kept up to date with everything, but it was the complete opposite.

Chris was crystal clear on the requirements, and very constructive in helping me understand what evidence would be needed to close the gaps, help the business recover the system, and get back into compliance.

I could not have asked for a better auditor for this particular situation, and Chris had a genuine desire to support us to recover, rather than to point out all the failings and write a report with a long list of NCs.

Overall, since I took over the ISO role in the business, all I have encountered at Citation is friendly, professional staff - every email is answered without delay, and they have clear teams at different email addresses to support the journey at each stage.

If I’m completely honest, I would have maybe seen the Citation contract as an area for potential cost savings, but having been through the preparation, seeing their online library/resources (Atlas), an audit, and the follow ups, it would have been a huge mistake! The costs we pay for the contracted services at Citation, and the way they handle everything as a well-oiled professional machine, simply pale into insignificance when I think about the time, cost, and stress involved in the alternative!

It’s a long review, as I genuinely wanted to highlight Citation, and Chris in particular, and detail my exceptional experience throughout the process, in the hope that this company will only continue to grow even stronger.

We recently had our first-year audit for ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 with Citation, and I cannot speak highly enough of our auditor, Karen Knaggs.
Karen was extremely helpful, professional and pleasant throughout what was a full-day on a Teams call for the audit. From the outset, she put me at ease with her friendly and approachable manner. She was incredibly patient and understanding, taking the time to explain requirements clearly and ensuring that the process felt constructive rather than daunting.
What stood out most was Karen's non-judgemental approach. She conducted the audit in a supportive and collaborative way, which made the experience far less stressful than I had anticipated for our first audit cycle. Her knowledge and expertise were evident throughout the day, and she provided valuable insight while maintaining a fair and balanced approach.

This was our second annual audit for ISO 14001 and the process remained a challenging one. Leighton Morris was an extremely thorough but fair auditor, ensuring that the information provided met the standards for the certification. The advice offered by Leighton is extremely helpful and will allow us to drive improvement of our management system.

Another brilliant audit experience, thanks to this year's auditor Keith Adams, he took us through the plan for the day and explained the process and what was required of us throughout the process. He helped us understand the type of evidence that was required for each area/clause and ensured that by the end of the audit we had all that we needed to complete the audit. Keith was very helpful and friendly which put us all at ease throughout the day.

Robert Crosby and Alan Boud were highly professional, helpful, and understanding throughout the audit process. Audits inevitably require a significant amount of documentation, but both auditors invested considerable time and effort in reviewing and extracting the necessary information, making the process much smoother and more manageable. Their support and professionalism were greatly appreciated.

We completed our ISO audit today and had an excellent experience. Niki the auditor was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. She took the time to explain everything in detail, making a complex process feel straightforward and stress-free. She was also highly accommodating to our schedule and business needs. As an extra bonus, she gave us a quick tutorial on how to utilise Atlas better, which will be incredibly useful for our future audits. We highly recommend their services and gladly give them 5 stars!

Just completed our reaccreditation for 9001 and 140001. Our consultant, Simon Langston, was a breath of fresh air; he explained what he requires in plain English, not in ISO language. He conducted the audit in a very direct but fair approach. After the audit had finished, he gave us some advice for future audits. In the five years I have been with Citation, this is by far the best audit I have done. Well done simon.

David was a very practical assessor and was helpful on minor recommendations going forward and very encouraging about the amount of work that had been submitted towards the accreditation. A painless and seamless review that was conducted very professionally but with a human touch.
