Very poor customer service......

If you need to return something you have to pay for it. As the items are glass & very heavy it costs a lot! Very poor customer service..... can't communicate with them, no telephone customer support, utterly frustrating! I would not recommend them as a company.......sad really, always thought Pyrex would be a good company as it's been around for years....... how wrong you can be :-/

AVOID PYREX - If I could give 0 stars I would

If I could give 0 stars I would, AVOID this company! Products don’t last and customer service don’t care at all. I have a glass dish that has a manufacturing defect and as they claim their glass products have a lifetime guarantee I did not worry. I sent photos and all details and eventually customer service said we will send replacement asap. Exactly 1 week later received another email saying we’ve reviewed your request (????) and are not sending a replacement and they are “unfortunately unable to respond”. So basically the warranty means NOTHING, products are expensive rubbish and their (lack of) customer service is absolutely atrocious. Hope all staff at customer service are ashamed of themselves and hopefully Pyrex will end up in administration!

What a joke

What a joke. Try using their website and you'll see what I mean. I wS going to spend over £200 on a number of their products, but gave up trying to navigate their pathetic website. Fortunately for me, I found better products on Amazon and for cheaper! Thanks Pyrex for being so bad that you made me shop elsewhere!

Poor experience. Avoid

They offer free shipping for orders £45 or over, but when you add the 10% welcome discount they also offer you for your first purchase, they charge you £5.99 shipping! Needless to say, I decided on cancelling my purchase and have gone elsewhere. Poor experience, and a total waste of time. I shall not be revisiting again

Had a few of these as they were doing a promotion at Morrisons. Can't understand why they have a reputation for being durable. The slightest knock and they smash to pieces. Might as well be made from crystal. No wonder they were giving them away free. Total rubbish.

Item arrived broken, no service to refund

Received one of their glass bowls broken. It was packaged broken. Sent photos right away to their customer service team via two channels- no response. Only crickets.

Atrocious customer service and they can’t seem to pack an item.

I received 6 broken products from them…

I received 6 broken products from them and my mother got injured while opening their package! I contacted them immediately with pictures and documentation, about a week later i received an email saying that my refund request got rejected. IS THAT EVEN OKAY?!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Our horror story is that we unfortunately fell for the ‘free’ Pyrex bowls from Morrisons supermarket in the UK. We got two of the one litre bowls on their promotion and wish we’d never bothered. Now you’re probably thinking - they were free so what gives? Well, the cost of giving these away free is added to the cost of your shopping each time, so you’re really buying them on drip feed.
We’d used them a handful of times when we made the mistake of stacking them in the cupboard. Since then they’ve been welded together and inseparable.

Obviously Pyrex couldn’t care less and want us to return them, at our expense, despite numerous emails between us

Avoid this brand at all costs, they can’t even produce a product that doesn’t stick together

Awful customer service - stressful and unhelpful.

Very disappointed with my latest order from Pyrex UK.
Two of the three items arrived with chips/cracks in them. The box was undamaged and they were well packaged so I can only assume they were packed in that condition.
Trying to get customer service to acknowledge the situation and either issue a refund or replacement is hideously difficult. Photographs (to prove it is their product) and requests to describe exactly how the damage occurred (how do I know they arrived that way?) and proof of purchase demanded despite it being a purchase via my account with them and therefore all the information is present on their system already.
Because I tried to raise a request (via an unwieldy form) for two items so far I have only had one communication regarding one of the items.
It is very difficult to photograph small hairline cracks in a transparent object and the pin point chip in one large bowl is impossible to capture. I am just not going to buy anything online from Pyrex UK again. More trouble than it is worth when something goes wrong.

Edited to add update:
My husband decided to take over the communication with Pyrex via the online form system. He quoted the Consumer Act and very quickly I received an email promising to replace the damaged items.

They have been despatched and I will update to confirm what happens when the replacements arrive.

Wrong Product Delivered - No Communication

I recently ordered from Pyrex a set of three glass containers. I specifically ordered the ones with the glass lids (not plastic ones)

After a very poor delivery service (parcel was left in the lobby of our building marked as "delivered to John" but there are no John in the building), I was gutted to see that Pyrex sent the wrong product. I've contacted them two weeks ago and have not heard anything back from them.

I have had better experience with individual sellers and would have hoped a firm like Pyrex to be a bit more serious.

My advice, please avoid.

Idiotic pricing at pyrex.co.uk

I had bought a Pyrex bowl without a lid sometime ago and now needed a lid. So looked for one online and the only place they were available was pyrex.co.uk and only in sets of three. Fair enough as I could use the other lids. Now to the problem. Price for three lids at Pyrex UK = £12.15 + £5.99 del total = £18.14.
Price for set of three bowls with lids (the same) at Amazon, delivered £17.92.
This means its 22p cheaper to buy the bowls with lids at Amazon and then throw away the bowls and just keep the lids, than it is to buy the lids (the same) from Pyrex UK.
Great pricing policy Pyrex UK, makes absolute sense.

Poor communication/ No customer service

Unfortunately I received a damaged dish. I sent a photo and used the appropriate contact form (6/1/23). I got a confirmation email saying they had received the 'request for assistance', but am still waiting for a response (27/1/23). I have sent 2 more 'requests' and have had no response at all. Also, there is no other way to contact them. At the moment I am left with a dish I cannot use, and have no way of getting a replacement or my money back. Terrible service. Do not buy from this site.

Pyrex UK number one

Had chipped glass Pyrex oven sheet so contacted Pyrex. Co.uk. They asked for a picture and proof of purchase. I emailed these to them and they emailed me back asking for postal address to send replacement apologising for the problems I had.
The customer service team is second to none as they were polite and helpful the whole time and seemed to put me first. I just wish other companies would have customer service like this.
