A sales experience like past. Beware!
This Ford branch won’t be winning any customer service awards soon..
I contacted the dealership regarding a van they had advertised, as I live over 350 miles away and needed to ask some straightforward and reasonable questions before considering travelling. I was expecting some honest, clear information about its condition and history, but the response couldn’t have been worse.
Unfortunately, from the outset the interaction with Keith was poor. The conversation felt awkward, dismissive and at times confrontational. Basic questions were met with vague responses, and little meaningful detail was actually provided. There was no enthusiasm, no effort to reassure a serious buyer, and certainly no sense that my custom was valued.
When I asked what warranty came with the van, I found the response particularly bizarre. Rather than clearly explaining, I was told that if the van needed to be returned, it would incur costs. This did little to answer the question and only increased my hesitation about purchasing.
During the call, I was also informed they were “over stocked and under staffed”, which frankly made it feel as though my enquiry was a nuisance.
The most surprising part came when I asked for a simple walk around video, something many dealerships provide routinely, I was told “no because I’m bored of them”. For a franchised dealership that has supposedly been operating since the 1970s, this level of professionalism and customer service was genuinely disappointing.
I later spoke with the Sales
Manager, who tried to assure me and mentioned another team member would send a video by 10:30am the following day. After hearing nothing and chasing myself beyond lunchtime, the video eventually arrived around 2:30pm. Shortly afterwards, I then received a WhatsApp message ( notably not even a phone call ) advising that the van had apparently been sold “the prior day”.
This is difficult to believe considering I had spoken with three different members of staff throughout the process and at no point was I informed the van was under offer, reserved or sold. The vehicle also remained advertised online afterwards.
Overall, the entire experience felt disorganised, dismissive and unnecessarily difficult from start to finish. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership.

Exceptional communication from start to finish, on email, over the phone and in person. Very flexible with collection. They were happy for me to put a reserve on the car for a full week and for the AA to check the car in advance. They didn’t labor the paperwork and were very helpful with making sure I had everything I needed (insurance, tax, questions about the vehicle). Price point is what drew me in as significantly cheaper than equivalent vehicles in the UK. Keith was main contact.

I bought a VW Tiguan Allspace from these guys back in June (been meaning to write this review for ages). I cannot rate these guys highly enough. Excellent, first-class service and a joy to do business with. They won't let you down! Geniunely lovely people and they know what they're talking about. Would use them again in a heartbeat.
Excellent After Sales Service
I bought a Petrol Nissan Juke from this dealer. Sales staff were very helpful but not pushy .
Unfortunately after 2 months I had issues with the clutch . As it was under 2 years old I contacted Nissan , who didn’t want to know . I rang the service department at Millers and they replaced the clutch without any problems. I had another issue and again they did the work . I cannot fault the after sales service from Millers.
Completely stress-free purchase

Went to PW Millar and the difference in attitude and customer service was totally different. The staff at Millars were both courteous and knowledgeable. We agreed a price within half an hour and collected the car 3 days later. Completely stress-free purchase.
Absolute thieves at this place
Absolute thieves at this place. I would give minus 5 stars if i could.
Went down to see a minibus and met salesman Ryan. Next day spoke to Nad, he advised that £500 deposit is fully refundable, i made payment to Ryan so minibus could go into workshop before i brought it. Vehicle needed work undertaking regardless if i brought it or someone else.
After i was not able to continue purchase, called Ryan and advised, he told me Elliston (director) will contact me regarding refund. 5 days later i called to speak to him as no call back received. He tried to keep the full £500 saying vehicle had to go into workshop and fees. After arguing that it needed work regardless and personal circumstances Elliston offered £250 as gesture of goodwill of my own money .
After seeking advice i emailed him back on 1st Apr and asked for atleast £400 of my own money back. On 7th Apr Elliston emailed me back agreeing to my proposal.
Their service has been 1 sided from day 1. I and anyone i know will not use PW Miller again.

We just bought our beautiful KIA car from this company..Nadeem was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble,answered all our questions and best of all prices were excellent plus he was not pushy like some car salesman.
We wouldn't go to any other Garage now..

Awful staff
If you like salesmen who ignore you and are rude when they actually speak to you then look no further. What a terrible experience received today. I was all excited to drive an hour to see the car that I wanted and the sales staff were very condescending and not helpful at all. I researched the car all week and was hoping to buy the car today and came away empty handed
Superb service
Decided to take the trip to this dealer and view and test drive the car. Viewed a few on the day at various dealers. No pressure from these guys but we ended up buying at PW Millar. They did everything they said they would on the car, had it presented beautifully and ready on time. Well done Keith and the team.

Car purchase
We purchased a used car from P W Millar Ltd in Barry, the salesman Ryan was very helpful, polite and knowledgeable about the car that we required. He sorted out everything, nothing was to much trouble. We highly recommend buying a used car from them, their prices for their cars are very competitive indeed.

So I viewed Hyundai Santa Fe reg is DA10VGU test drove it everything seemed fine. Got told I could have the car a week later. Phoned up for an update on the car and got told it had loads of stuff wrong with it and that it wasn't worth them fixing it and selling it. so today I looked online and it had been put back up for sale for the same amount of 3990. so I phoned up and did a mot check and this car has clearly got a fake mot on it. Be careful if you buy this vehicle. this company needs reporting to dvsa. I can even send a copy of the email.

On a sunny day, PW Millar's showroom and complex was a delight, overlooking a beautiful countyside vista, making our visit a very upbeat experience.

I paid screen price and accepted their trade in price. I didn't haggle and trusted them to be straight with me. Terrible mistake.
Car had bird dropping damage to bonnet paint work which I missed due to rain. They couldn't have missed it when it was valetted. Only one key, no service book, tray in storage compartment missing. Advertised as one owner. That turned out to be Europe car hire. Damage to alloy wheel. They had a week to get it ready. On collection no vehicle registration document. They gave me a check for 25 pounds and told me to go to the post office which didn't take checks. Rang them. Wouldn't refund me unless I returned the check. No offer of compensation no apology. For all the crap it should have been reduced by at least 700 pounds. Truly a miserable experience, be warned
Couldn’t have asked for more…
Myself and my fiancé were looking far and wide for an upgrade on our second car when we saw one we liked from here, extremely competitively priced. Living only in South Wales ourselves we went and had a look. We were dealt with by Derek who was very approachable, friendly and above all not pushy! He gave me the key and said “take as long as you need” and left us to our own devices. Upon driving the vehicle it was clear that it was the one for us. The purchase itself was simple, hassle free and quick. A £199 holding deposit was taken on the day and Derek even agreed to have a set of personalised number plates made up for us. A week later we collected the vehicle and it was in pristine condition inside and out, so much so in fact there is still remnants of polish on the body work! There were also receipts provided for a full service, and MOT. We are both happy with the vehicle and would definitely recommend this garage to family and friends.
This review is primarily a reflection of the sales department that I dealt with and my experience of purchasing a vehicle. However, I have recently taken the car to be looked at by the workshop and the staff over there were also friendly and helpful.

3weeks out of warranty flywheel failure clutch failure gearbox problems 6 recalls with mercedes.slideing nearside door fault ball joint failure leaking door seal.back numerouse times refused to do any of the work.had it for 3 days on 15 of january after waiting nearly 4 weeks for time slot.
I was told they took it for a test run and couldnt find any fault.mileage same as when dropped off on 15 january.never took vehicle out for test drive.oh i forgot to mention brake problems as well.
