Robert learned a lot
Robert learned a lot. For example, he was tested initially and had some issues that he wasn't aware of, and he worked to correct them during the week. Some were quite simple but hadn't been picked up before. It's a very professional, yet friendly, setup and excellent at handling teenagers. We also sat in on the webinars in the evenings, and gained an improved understanding of nutrition, strength and conditioning, injury prevention and wellbeing. It was great value for the week I think. I'd really recommend it.
East of England PSA camp
I had 2 boys attend the camp aged 11 and 13. They thoroughly enjoyed the week. It was fun but they also felt like they were treated like rugby players and the level of intensity and professional focus was just right. They learned a lot about the game and their skill-set improved a lot thanks to excellent coaching. They will definitely be attending another camp in the future.
Fantastic!
Great coaching - kept the boys engaged and enthusiastic all week. Fantastic communication both on the lead up to the course and throughout each day. If your child likes rugby, they'll love the PSA courses. I have a tired but happy boy! Thank you so much.
My son (10) absolutely loved the camp
My son (10) absolutely loved the camp. He has already started a list of friends to go next year. The content was fantastic. He would come home and enthusiastically take us through the drills he learnt . I as a parent loved the webinar content esp the focus on health and nutrition. In the past ive had to stress the importance of warm up and cool down....this will not pose a problem anymore. Also from a personal dev point of view i loved how respect was highlighted throughout the content of the course and a few days later, when chatting about something, my son turned and said ' well mom who you hang around with can effect how you behave so you need to make sure thats how you want to be known as' .....this is a message that every parent wants their child to understand. When asked where he learned it from he said it was mentioned at camp! Enough said. We will definitely be attending again and so will his brothers.
Amazing week
Most important factor is that the boys loved it, sounds like they did something different everyday, very professionally run and lots of information to the parents.
We will be back next year!!
New techniques with experienced coaches
My son found it a fun and interesting course mixing with different ages and abilities. Gaining knowledge on various aspects of the game and working on new techniques with experienced coaches. Being challenged to try something different. Company very professional taking into account covid protocols and constant changes in rules/regulations, keeping us as parents regularly updated.
A fantastic week for my 12yr old son…
A fantastic week for my 12yr old son with PSA. He loved it so much he wanted to return the following week. PSA academies communication's were excellent, particularly with Covid 19 procedures. The timetable of activities and distance learning was very good. My son feels fired up for the start of the new season as an under 13 player. I would definitely recommend PSA academies to others and be looking to book onto the course again next year. According to my son he wants to go to the one held in Tignes!!😳😆
My 10year Son had an Amazing Fun Week…
My 10year Son had an Amazing Fun Week In the Cork Camp . He enjoyed every day and all the aspects of the learning and coaching of rugby . He cant wait to go back next year again. I would highly recommend the PSA Camp. Thanks to All involved .
My two sons took part in the Cork camp…
My two sons took part in the Cork camp - they had a great time and found it very useful. They thouugh that the feedback was constructive and gave them lots to work on ... which is what they wanted out of the course. Communication and organisation from a parents perspective was perfect. Well done and thank you
Fun and friendship.
Thank you to all at PSA for running a safe and professional camp amidst such turmoil. My daughter was able to relax, work hard and make friends safely. Plenty lessons learned and hope for the future.
Thank you PSA…
Our eldest son had the most amazing week with PSA in Tignes two years ago. He continues to enjoy his rugby and found his skill set and awareness around the pitch hugely improved on his return from France. Just when our younger son was about to go to Cork 2020 he broke his arm. Despite being unable to attend, PSA, in particular Graham, were just wonderful in giving him support. He participated in the excellent evening education and picked up loads of tips despite being a virtual participant only. Wishing all at PSA the very best for the remainder of the training season. A great bunch of coaches and educators in the sport. Thank you.🙏🏻
Highly recommended Camp!!
My son has just completed this rugby camp in Cork and is still buzzing. From the booking stage everything was handled with such professionalism. The organisers and coaches are second to none and gave the kids great confidence. The webinars were suburb- educating both players and parents. I was told today that it was the best camp ever- and he’s been to a few!!! Highly recommend this camp 👍
A good rugby camp for enthousiastic…
A good rugby camp for enthousiastic rugbyers. Their skills are evaluated and they get good advice on how to improve. They also received relevant information on nutrition and concussion. The camp would be 5 star if the nutrition advice was rolled out into the food served in the canteen.
Kilkenny Rugby Camp a winner
An extremely well organized and engaging camp for the week. My son thoroughly enjoyed the Kilkenny camp. Learned so much - not just about skills, like passing technique, tackling and kicking but also about nutrition and growth mindset. "The best rugby camp I've been to" according to my son.
Can't recommend it enough - will be back next year.
Professional Fun and Engaging
Our 11year old enjoyed the camp so much at Wilson’s Hospital. He was wondering when he got home can his throat hurt from laughing so much. He seemed to learn a lot from the talks as well as all the new Rugby skills. The coaching and care team were excellent and so professional whilst making it all fun and engaging a great result in younger boys. He can’t wait for next year and by all accounts the food was fab.
I can't recommend it enough
Thank you PSA Academy for a fantastic rugby camp, my son really enjoyed the week he spent with you.
PSA Academy Multyfarnham, fantastic.
I'm a parent of one of the kids that attended the recent course in Multyfarnham, i'm also a coach of several of the kids that attended.
I was seriously impressed with the set up, its not easy for some parents to allow their children away from home with people that to them were strangers but Luke and the pastoral team really looked after the kids and dealt with any concerns. The daily updates with pics of how they were getting on also helped, a lot !
All of my kids first and foremost had a ball. They were well fed, were well looked after and there was a fun element to an awful lot of what they did.
Secondly, the focus on their rugby development was fantastic, there was video analysis of their positioning, their handing and a focus on improving their overall skillset.
Finally and something that I am going to have to live with for some time is I now have 9 kids who have had a really high level of coaching which means I'm going to have to seriously lift my game when it comes to the coming season.
Big big thaks to Graham and all of the crew, all of my kids that attended are already talking about going back next year, a sure sign that they enjoyed it.
Colin
Highly recommend
