BIGGEST REGRET YOU'LL EVER HAVE!!!

I had work done in September 2023 subbing a heat pump for my central A/C, increasing the insulation in our attic and the deal included an equipment buyout the PSHS was to pay. By November I was getting collection notices from Reliance for the equipment payout amount. In order to avoid collection activity I paid the $2300 owing and was reassured by PSHS that I would get the refund sent to me within 'a few weeks'.

Cut to monthly phone calls to the PSHS inquiring on the whereabouts of this refund to be told every month, it's with accounts payable and you should receive it in 20 days. This same call occurred in Jan, Feb, Mar and April with the same answer being provided each time. I'm a pretty patient guy, but waiting 6 months for a buyout cheque for over $2000 I think would test anyone's patience. During the last call I wanted to escalate to speak to a manger and was first told the manager would just say the same thing, then I asked to talk to the Acct Payable dept direct and told they don't have an extension. After further insistence, I was offered a manager callback, which I have now been waiting 3 weeks for.

Buyer beware: be prepared to play the long game waiting for the amazing rebates offered by PSHS, it's been 6 months AND COUNTING for the equip buyout and I have lost all hope in getting the $7800 government rebate.

If these scammers are still out there selling this garbage my recommendation DO NOT BUY!!!!! I would have rated zero stars of that was an option.

***UPDATE 30May24 ***
After discussions with Saveen at PSHS, I was guaranteed payment for the buyout of my equipment would be in my account in 2 weeks, likely sooner. That was on May 16, 2024. On that day, I was asked by Saveen to remove my negative comment as the refund was being processed. I regret removing my comment and hope that doing so has not permitted other victims from signing up with these con artists. I have also escalated this concern to the BBB, so again 2 weeks later (or should I say 6 months and 2 weeks later) I sit here like a chump with no buyout reimbursement. My recommendation DO NOT SIGN UP WITH PROVINCIAL SMART HOME SERVICES!

***UPDATE 12Jun24 ***
Now getting no responses to repeated emails and still no deposit reimbursing of our equipment buyout. Absolutely disgusted with this company.

Still no deposit and no follow up whatsoever from these criminals.

A/C broke down and after 4 days of…

A/C broke down and after 4 days of their usual run around no one has come to look at it . Contractor called and asked questions and said he will send in a report to the service manager but it is not looking good. Stay as far away from this company as you can. Do not let them in your door

Total scam and fraud

This company don’t even deserve one star. Too much lies and fraud , that’s what they do.
I got their services 5 months ago when they installed heat pump and electric water tank in my house. Their agent named SERRY came to my house and told me everything about the cost of the system and rebate program. He told me that i will get rebate of $10000 after 3 months of installation and that was my prime reason to choose their services. As i am in 5th month after installation , I decided to call him and he is not answering , then i called at customer service and they told me that post inspection is not done at my home after installation due to which rebate is not processed.
I don’t know what’s going on
Pls never trust their AGENTS,

such a scam I am out $45,000 they said…

such a scam I am out $45,000 they said they would pay off reliance and did but it took them so long that I now have a payment of$760 that still needs to be paid . they replaced all the stuff that was there and replaced it with cheaper stuff and all these things that I didn't want but they told me when they were installing it that I came with the package and when I said that I didn't want the revers osmosis thing underway sink and they still charge me for it and gave me a door bell button and installed it in the wrong place so that it can't be removed to charge it and then when the charge ran out it didn't work and could'nt take it off to recharge it . then when this stupid thing that they put in that makes the water go through a light filter stoped working it started too beep and I couldn't get them to come and fix it.So when I moved the company that they deal with had a lean on my house I had to pay it all off that's another story that company when my bank wouldn't lend me money they financed the whole thing how dose that work what a scam don't feel with this a holes and now don't get anything off the computer even if it looks like it legit. its also the guys that call on the phone and say they are giving deals with the government so now I just screw with them I let them make appointments and then cancel when the come to the door the best is now that I have moved they still call so they think I live at the same place and I say sure come on over. surprise I don't live there anymore lol

Horrible customer service and failed…

Horrible customer service and failed promises company is a scam.
My husband and I were promised a government grant , plus hydro credit of over $700. It’s been almost a year now and no rebate was given neither did we get the hydro credit . It also took them forever to pay off enercare and our account was almost going into collections . Had to call several times before that was paid .
We were told they would arrange pickup of our old water heater and now we are being told we have to arrange that ourselves . Whenever we call customer service we get told the same thing “ account has been approved for payment and will be paid by the payment cycle “ . Well it’s been months and nothing is being done . The sales rep was initially very nice but became rude the moment the contract was signed.
Stay away if you can as they come with all sorts of promises and the moment you sign up with them everything just goes down hill.

I got an AC unit from them because they mentioned two things:
1. The rebate program
2. 0% government loan
3. They said we take care of everything

Now it's been almost a year since I purchased an overpriced unit and I still do not received any rebate which they say it is because of government delay. But also no one is taking my concern serious about the government loan. They pushed me to sign a 2.99% loan agreement with Financeit and it is ending and increases to 20% and they still have not got me the loan.
I called and now they say I should do it myself!!!!! SCAM, stay away! I try to seek legal advice as it is mentioned in the contract and they have not respected it.

Here is my situation after a year:
1. I paid extra for 2 months that they did not mention I need to cancel the previous rental agreement myself
2. I am paying above the price they initially mentioned would be the price for my gas and hydro
3. I did not get any rebate grant
4. I paid 2.99% and soon 20% on a loan for an overpriced AC unit ($22K!) and no 0% government loan

If the agent from this company showed up on your door, just shut the door!

STOP!!

Don’t trust positive reviews like I did! The installers ask you to review immediately after install and they are pretty nice so you are inspired to do so.

What a nightmare, the sales guy tells you they will take the old tank with them at install, they will pay off your existing contract with current rental company, he takes you account number and says they will deal with everything. Tells you the monthly fee is like $40, and will only increase after a year if you miss a payment or are late.

What really happened? The installers did not take the tank, the install leaked both water and gas (they came the next day and repaired it though) after calling them about what to do with the tank they told me I had to arrange with reliance to have it picked up. That’s a $450 charge I say and they insist it’s all good, they will pay it (it would have been free if their installers took it with them and dropped it off at one of the drop off locations) THEN, the calls from reliance start coming in that I have this amount due, I tell them PSHS will be paying it not to worry. Eventually I call PSHS and ask them what’s taking so long and they say they have a 30-90 day policy on paying it off starting from the date they approved the amount to be paid. (And only after requesting from me the final bill and the bill previous to that after I sent it in- the sales person said I wouldn’t have to do any of that) now my reliance bill is in collections, it’s $590 and that high because of the damned pick up fee. And also the monthly payments will be going up to $120 after a year, regardless of your perfect payment history I’m so mad at myself for being scammed like this. STAY AWAY.

…company is a joke

If I could give a zero I would it’s been over a year now and we still haven’t received our 2700$ promised rebate, we were told they would pay off the hydro and gas bill 8 months it took them to pay the hydro and the told us they don’t pay the gas please do not go with this company I’m stuck with a 2400$ bill that they were taking 6300$ every two weeks and just changed it to 130$ I’m disgusted how this company operates I was getting help from some Khadja person and they’ve disappeared no one helps out what’s so ever and they kill you financially

Heat pump installation was a nightmare! Had to have All Mechanical come & fix all the leaks! They also stole my Reliance water heater & refuse to return it to me!
