RETRACTION OF PREVIOUS CARFAX SENTIMENT:

My initial 4-star review on Carfax (Feb 21) was based on the shop's verbal assurance that my engine leak was fixed on the 3rd attempt....

However, a certified Honda Master Technician performed a professionsl diagnostic testing Feb 26 (Video Evidence recorded) proving that there were a lot of issues that Honda was unwilling to repair due to legalities, becsuse of recent quick "fixes" such as improper sealant instead of getting correct parts carried out by Proline.

The 'repairs' I previously praised were discovered to be superficial and non-functional and caused a much worse oil leak and turned my car into immediate repair status proven also by Honda.

Merchant has refused a refund despite failing to provide a State-mandated written estimate (FL Statute 559905). He decided to become unprofessional in our last words telling me Honda won't repair my car because Honda doesn't want to deal with me shown by my actions.... even though I told Honda I'm interested in getting a new car. Not sure what actions unless standing up for myself counts. I immediately started official complaints filed with FDACS and Navy Federal Credit Union for deceptive trade practices. I have deleted my previous positive review to prevent others from being misled by the shop's misrepresentations. Highly DO NOT recommend Proline Autocare.

Original 4-Star Review
Loved that Jr. Got me right in even the first time I came in with an oil leak. I had to bring it in three times because it kept leaking in different areas. He did a good job and was knowledge. He backed his work and made it right the 3rd visit by not charging me. He was professional and willing to be honest and fair. Definitely recommend him.

*Note* The 3rd time not charging me was the time I received no receipt which I've requested multiple times and have had no reply. I also never received any estimates at all. Just a receipt and invoice at end of service with very little details and without a registration number! (The latter is not legal) according to (FS 559 911) (6) Nothing was provided at the beginning. Only at the end of service I received a minimally detailed invoice and attached receipt. The estimate can be on the same paper but must be presented with the paperwork to check the box to request a written estimate, which I never received (FLORIDA STATUTE 559 905). Up to the Credit Union and Florida State now. This 3rd chance he had to fix the oil leak (which i believe if a thorough check was completed on day 1, I would have saved time and money. Instead I had to keep returning because lack of checking anywhere oil could be leaking not just find one leak snd say ok you're all good. Theres zero information, including verbal, that displayed a thorough inspection of anywhere that could leak oil. Seems deceptive.

The Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA), found in Florida Statute 501 204, prohibits unfair, dishonest, or unethical business acts, including misleading advertising, bait-and-switch tactics, and false representations. It protects consumers and businesses from deceptive practices by allowing them to file civil lawsuits for damages, attorney's fees, and injunctive relief.

Lastly, you can only talk to Misael Rojas, through the prior owner unless in person. Junior will dodge your texts, emails, and not call you back when previous owner states he will. Especially when things get like this. He ghosts and/or tries to bash your character while you've been professional the entire time, he reverts to being unprofessional as shown in my text here

Notice the yellow sealant all around where he should have ordered I believe a spool valve gasket, instead of putting sealant on a high pressure oil apparatus that is sure to bust! As it did.

Lost thousands in value of my old car because of this. I have official documents showing such.
