Project Solar quoted and installed a 12 panel solar system with battery in April. The producti s so far excellent and meets all o my expectations.

However, their after sales service leaves much to be desired.

My installation required scaffolding to be erected in part on a neighbors' property. To minimise their inconvenience, I asked for and was assured by the salesman that this would be removed with urgency, certainly no more than 4 to 5 days. When chased for a collection date (5 days after installation) they did not accept any prior commitment and assured me that they would get it done "asap". After much chasing of the project manager I called the scaffolding company directly and they said that had not yet received any instruction. On the agreed date, the scaffolding company notified me their lorry had had issues so they couldn't make so after much chasing of all parties the scaffolding was finally collected. In discussion wth the scaffolding company their comment was they always make these promises but the contract between Project Solar requires them to collect within 20 days - beware.

After installation, I decided that I wanted more capacity in my battery (my choice, not theor issue) so I asked them to quote for supply and fitting. Some weeks on, despite calls and emails I have no response.

My advice is, if you want a good functional system they are fine, if you want good after sales service for your substantial investment, look elsewhere.

Project Solar - please note that I still haven't had any communication regarding the quote for additional battery capacity as I previously stated, so no - not everything is resolved

Nyron and Nathan came today and did a wonderful job replacing the battery. As usual very polite,pleasant and helpful. Answered all my questions happily.

Only had system installed for 4 days.
First impression on 4 days use is very promising. Lots of electricity sent to grid and bill on display in kitchen show150% drop in daily use.

Bogdan and team arrived on time. He explained what would be done and walked through detailed plan on where all the equipment will go. On a very hot day the team worked hard and everything was installed just as I had been told. After installation, Bogdan helped with installation of apps required and walked me through the apps and how to set it all up.

Really pleased with our Solar and battery installation as well as the sales, design, installation and comissioning process.

Very flexible and enabled us to have the system we wanted how we wanted it. No high pressure selling and installation teams excellent. Came back and sorted an internet connection issue very quickly arrived when they said they would and completed work in estimayed timecframe. A couple of minor niggles in that the scaffolding had to fitted over two days and the scaffold company were unwilling to advise when they would arrive requiring us to be at home more than we expected. Site clean up could have been slightly better - tie wraps, bird guard bits left in gutters but easily removed.

The 2 young men that fitted our solar panels where very polite , efficient and extremely helpful explaining everything to us , a credit to the company.

Solar panels are a large investment and no effort was spared to explain in detail what benefits could be achieved. I have every confidence that I made the right decision.

Always a bit of a breakdown in communication

The company representatives, Mel, arrived on time. Introduced himself. His presentation was perfect. I learnt about the whole aspect of solar panels. From price to global awareness. There was no hard sell. I was very happy to go ahead and arrange fitting etc.
I had already done my homework on solar energy and was happy to not be given any flannel or misleading information.
Linking to his payment team, Donna,for verification of details that he had downloaded and finally payment was seamless.
I would recommend this agent and the product that he was explaining and selling.

Mark visited and went through the process with me in a very friendly and low-pressure way. When I accepted the plan, the arrangements went smoothly and the installation itself went ahead very efficiently. The installation team arrived when they said they would and finished every stage sooner than they estimated. Their tidying up was pretty much faultless too. They even came back to repair a tile slip (which, it turned out, they hadn’t actually caused) in the same efficient manner.
I would definitely recommend to give these folks a call if Solar is your plan.

This company keeps cold calling me despite me making it clear I don’t want any further contact. They use different numbers each time so blocking them makes little difference. As a result I would NEVER use this company for any work.

Avoid!!!
Solar working good and battery ok!
But sales guy was liar and tell us that system working power outage.on may 14th was power cut from grid and we don’t have power too!
After installation they leave you alone!
On weekends can’t contact them because they don’t have any emergency team!
And not always answering to your emails.
I asked about system expansion and nobody care about that answer.
I think was our mistake to choose them and prices to expensive gor this experience!!!
But it’s my opinion better looking for another installer may be get better experience;)))

Very happy with the installation - 5 stars for the installation engineers they did a very tidy job discussed at every stage and walked through the components and application etc. very friendly, polite and professional crew (Bogaan and Razvan). Scaffolding was also great job.

pre- installation communication was also great and everything happened as plan and on time, with regular calls to check if all okay etc.

Great from start to finis, no real hard sale, installation day was on thursday, wednesday Horizon scaffolding came, very quick efficient and polite, the next day bright and early the installation team cmae, all fitted in one day. Neat and tidy job, then Horizon came again and cleared away the scaffolding. Every one was very polite, hardworking, helpful and professional

All the lads who fitted my solar panel and battery was a pleasure to have. Dale came up to me and introduced the whole team and every one of those lads a legend. Not only was they great to talk to but they did the job with excellent and working through our lovely Welsh weather. ( rain ) I felt bad they had to do it in the porring down rain whilst I was inside keeping dry, warm and comfortable. Dale,Luke and Harry and the only 3-5 I can remember but Dale if you read this thank all the lads for an awesome job.

Great communication and product. Throughout the process the communication was clear and on a regular basis.

Just had my first conversation with them. Spoke to someone called Dylan who was very helpful - explained what's going to happen next very well and was friendly and professional. And set up a survey for the next day!
