Short and enjoyable courses on product management
I took a couple of courses from ProductDo (AI/ML and Product Discovery). The advantage is that they are relatively short and in a format of simulators. It means that you don't read so much, but practice. In my experience, it works well for some basics and as a starting point before diving deeper into a specific field on my own.
My recommendation would be to go through the course without taking long breaks. Otherwise, you will forget the story of a course, and you will need to start from the beginning.
Also, if you want to become a full expert on a specific topic, pay attention to how deep the material is before buying, so as not to expect too much.
Product management fundamentals
It took me a month to take all the course materials. I find it very usefull for those who start their career in product management or for project managers who closely work with product owners or in product companies. Course helps you boost your product mindset and understand how the product works under the hood.
Great courses for those seeking to transition to more senior positions & gain more confidence at their job!
I recently completed the courses Product Planning and Tech Skills for PM, and I found them really great! I doubted it at first since I am not a Junior PM anymore and already had some technical foundations and experience with planning. But I still learned so many new things! Especially when it comes to architecture, service reliability, and testing. I can definitely recommend these courses because the confidence you will get at work is definitely worth it.
The course is interactive and feels like a conversation with a mentor, which really-really helps to memorize concepts (as opposed to the other courses where you just listen to lectures).

I recently completed the Full-stack AI prototyping for PMs and Founders.
What I liked about the course: very hands-on, good to have an understanding of on how to build a prototype with AI. I particularly liked the most technical part: adding a database and adding an API. That's something we rarely think ok or have access as PMs.
Things to improve: it could be more challenging, or there could be more critical thinking. It felt sometimes too scripted.
I would recommend it overall !
Technical Skills for Product Managers
The course is highly practical and well-structured, covering all key areas. By answering questions and exploring provided resources, I learned a lot. It boosted my confidence in creating diagrams, documentation, and estimations. I highly recommend it for its real-world applicability.
Hands-on, effective and tailored for PMs
I’ve just finished three ProductDo courses — SQL for Product Managers, Technical Skills for Product Managers, and Full-stack AI Prototyping for PMs and Founders. The simulator format is super effective. In some blocks it’s 80–90% practice, which is amazing. Instead of reading long texts, you actually apply skills right away. The courses are tailored for product managers and give very practical knowledge I could use at work the same day. Technical Skills helped me understand frontend, backend, APIs and system basics. Full-stack AI Prototyping showed how to go beyond hype and build AI products people can really use, even without coding background. SQL for PMs is a great way to finally get comfortable with SQL.
I’m already planning to take more courses on LLMs and ML. Highly recommend ProductDo if you want real hands-on learning.
Technical Foundations and AI Prototyping course
I’m a Product Designer, and I just finished the Technical Foundations and AI Prototyping course from Vladimir Kalmykov
Honestly, it’s been such a game-changer for me. I’d recommend it not only to PM but also to Designers or anyone who wants to better understand the technical side of building products.
What really makes this course different is the active learning and spaced repetition approach. Instead of just watching materials, you actually practice through a simulator that feels like a real-life conversation with a CEO, product manager, or developer. It’s super immersive, fun, and honestly makes learning exciting. On top of that, the live sessions give you even more chances to practice, so you leave class feeling confident and ready to apply what you’ve learned.
Vladimir is also amazing—super kind, always supportive, and really quick to answer any questions.
Before this course, I had zero technical knowledge. Now I actually understand product architecture, back-end, database, APIs, and even how to read API docs.
My AI prompt skills leveled up like crazy too. Before, my prompts were messy and inconsistent, but now I can structure them to get exactly the results I want for my prototypes.
The core of the course—product architecture, backend, database, and API—really built a strong foundation for me. It not only improved my vibe coding but also made communication with my dev team so much easier.
At first, my goal was just to be able to prototype my design ideas so stakeholders could understand my design concepts and developers could see what I wanted. But I walked away with way more than that—I can actually “speak the same language” as developers now, and even understand product metrics and how to measure product health.
Best part? I applied what I learned right away at work, and my coworkers and my bosses appreciated it.
Big thanks to Vladimir—this course has been such a helpful and eye-opening experience!
Tech Skills for Product Managers
I completed the Technical Skills for Product Managers course, and it really helped me get a clearer understanding of product architecture and how developers work.
The course covers a wide range of topics that make it easier to understand the technical side of a product, collaborate effectively with the dev team and estimate timelines more accurately.
It’s well-structured, full of useful checklists, and the simulator format provides plenty of hands-on experience with real-world cases.
Hello everyone
Hello everyone! I took the course "Product Research: JTBD, MVP, Unit Economics" and was left with a positive impression. Because the approach to training is designed in such a way that, in essence, the theory is immediately applied in practice through a simulator. This allows you to immediately structure the knowledge obtained during the course and have already begun to apply it in your work
LLM products
I'm really impressed with the LLM product development course!
It's well-structured, starting from the basics and moving to hands-on practice. There are a lot of practice! You can use it in your own projects.
A great choice for anyone looking to learn new technologies and build modern products.
Highly recommended!
Cannot recommend more!
I've become a huge fan of the ProductDo courses "No water": extremely well prepared and organised materials that give you hands on experience and with that better \faster understanding of the concepts. So far, these are the best courses I've completed for Product Management, 100% well invested money.
Technical skils for PM
I spent some time looking for a proper course to improve my technical skills in Product management and I'm really happy about this choice. The course is challenging and encourages to study more and use the knowledges in practice.
Only one thin I would add - It would be nice to have the assistance more available

I'd like to highly recommend the Technical Skills for Product Managers course! This is one of the most well-structured, insightful, and practical courses I’ve ever taken as a Product Manager. The content perfectly bridges the gap between business and technology, giving PMs exactly the technical depth they need to feel confident working with engineers, understanding architecture, and making smarter decisions.
What I especially appreciated was how the course makes complex technical concepts accessible, even for those without a technical background. Every module is packed with clear explanations, real-world examples, and actionable frameworks you can start applying immediately.
Thanks to this course, I now feel significantly more confident in technical tasks, and I’ve already noticed how this has improved both my day-to-day work and my collaboration with tech teams.
LLMs for PMs
Before this course, I had already experimented with implementing AI in products, but I lacked a clear system to guide my decisions. The course gave me exactly what I was missing — a structured, repeatable methodology for building and evaluating LLM-powered features.
The most valuable part? Turning scattered knowledge into a clear framework. The hands-on exercises gave me a practical toolkit I can apply immediately.
What stood out beyond the content was the supportive learning environment. The instructors were always available to answer questions, and a warm community has formed.
Whether you're new to AI products or already have experience but want to structure your knowledge, this course is invaluable. Highly recommended!
Review on Product Discovery course
I recently finished the ProductDo Discovery course and found it very practical and helpful.
What I liked the most is how to estimate market size with TAM, SAM, SOM, and how to build a simple unit economics model in sheets. The clothing rental case study was interesting and made the theory easy to apply which is really helpful.
The course was well-structured, easy to follow, and full of useful tools. Highly recommended!
Do it. It's worth it.
Completed 6 different courses already (some even repeated twice)
Very effective way to rapidly upskill yourself and gain an edge in today's tech landscape.
Great simulators!
I completed multiple simulators from ProductDo, latest one being AI prototyping for PMs. All simulators are very thoughtfully prepared and help you build real world actionable skills.
Building LLM Based Products Course
Building LLM Based Products Course - the missing piece in my transition to AI-native product roles
My goal entering this course was clear: to understand how LLM-based products actually work — what kinds of problems they solve, how to build with them responsibly, and what it really takes to launch one in production.
Over the 2,5 weeks, I learned to:
- Design complex, multi-step prompts that go beyond copy-paste from ChatGPT
- Measure output quality with offline evals, live feedback, and LLM-as-a-judge, not just "gut feeling"
- Account for risks and safety, especially when designing assistants for sensitive use cases like children's products
- Navigate trade-offs in model selection, cost, latency, and context depth - as a product owner, not a data scientist
Most importantly, I gained hands-on experience in building pipelines, understanding what could go wrong (and why), and designing around it.
I'm deeply grateful for this course - it became a launchpad for me to step more confidently into AI product roles. It wasn’t just knowledge, it was an activation.
Great hands-on experience
I got a great hands-on experience as a non technical Product Manager on using AI for prototyping.
Also, it helped me to have a more clear understanding of app architecture.
Highly recommend courses by ProductDo
I’ve taken several courses at Product Do, including Full-Stack AI Prototyping for PMs and Founders, ML/AI Fundamentals for PMs, and Technical Knowledge for PMs. What I appreciate most is the strong focus on practical application—everything I learn, I can immediately apply to my day-to-day work.
The course structure is excellent: well-organized, with theory and hands-on tasks that build up gradually in complexity. Even though I already have experience in product development, these programs have significantly deepened my understanding of both technical and product aspects, especially in the context of AI.
Highly recommended for product and project managers and founders looking to bridge the gap between product and tech.
