Loft insulation and poly bead cavity fill.
Jamie and Jake were careful and thorough, working in exceptionally hot weather.
The subject house is a tricky installation with access being quite problematic in some areas but, fortunately, the boys were sufficiently creative as to navigate around all of the obstacles. The front of the house has quite a growth of vegetation, all of which came through the experience unscathed. My many queries were answered fully and the area was left clean and tidy. Overall communication with the company was very good. Fully deserving of the 5* rating.

After seeking 3 quotes for insulation, I chose Jason firstly, as he was the only one to visit the property and assess what was required. Over two days, they cleared out the old crumbling material and refilled, taking care to check inside the house for any areas where the new insulation may have come through. A very thorough and professional job from start to finish and highly recommended.

Jason, Jamie and Jake were very friendly, personable, professional and highly knowledgeable and competent. Company Secretary, Lorraine too was friendly and highly efficient in administrating the exercise. The work was completed as per the detailed specification supplied and to a timely manner. Following the work the property was left in a clean and tidy state. We are already feeling the benefit of the new insulation and would not hesitate to recommend a similar programme of work to other customers.

Poorly installed insulation around an attic room has meant we had cold, damp patches in our house for years. The team at Prize completed a swift and efficient job to install additional insulation in and around our attic room, going over and above to rectify additional issues that they found after starting the job. I was very tidy and respectful of our home. Would definitely use them again.

Prize Insulation is an excellent company. Jason, Jamie and Jake were thorough, professional and kind. They did a brilliant job of insulating my two lofts, and went above and beyond in clearing up, taking away rubbish and even hoovering through the house afterwards.

I originally had contact with Lorraine a few years ago and met Jason who did his survey of my house and we were only suitable for an isotherm product due to the tight cavity. Fast forward to last week, Jason, Jamie & Jake came out to make a start on the cavity filling.
Arrived on time when stated and got to work right away! I didn’t realise what work was involved for the liquid filling compared to the standard methods so you could see why the pricing was as it was. Jason told me there must have been some voids in the main wall as it took more than thought to fill it but again no problems with this.
On the second day it was the sides around the windows and they kept checking if they inside was good as depending on air tight the house it the filling can show inside. Couple spots but it showed how much air was getting in around the windows.
Once the work had been done Jamie and Jake cleaned up the areas they worked and it was as if they never came as they were great and done more than they needed. Hard off to them and being a family business you could see they all had a keen interested making sure it was all going well and I was happy throughout!
I’d definitely recommend this team to anyone needing the same filling they offer!

This company was highly recommended to us as installers of close cell foam insulation as we had problems with our cavity wall insulation. From the initial contact with Lorraine the job went ahead very smoothly. Communication was excellent throughout, arrived when they said they would (after a 200+ mile trek to Liverpool) and completed the job without delays. Jason, Jake and Jamie were very polite, professional and knowledgeable.

Expertise and genuine care.

We went for the close cell foam. Honestly, the best 8k we spent. Yes, it's expensive, but totally worth it if you're going to be living in the property for a long time. We went from having the heating on all the time and the thermometer never reaching even 18 degrees to not having to heat the house for a good chunk of the day. It feels so much more comfortable. I haven't checked the difference in the bills yet, but I imagine it'll be substantial. But the bills notwithstanding, it's the comfort in the winter. The house finally feels cozy and pleasant. Let's hope the foam stands the test of time too. Finally, Jason, Jamie, and Jake were very polite, organised, on time, tidied up. Lorraine who organises the schedule and does the billing and Comms is fab too. We couldn't be happier with the process and the results.
