Private Internet Access has provided… Virtual Private Network access to the broader internet for professional and archival work

Private Internet Access has provided exactly the service they advertised. Their uptime has been, as far as I can tell, absolutely flawless and their service is exactly what I signed up for. There have been no surprises of any kind at any time and I will continue to use their services as long as they provide them.

Used for 2 years so far

Used for 2 years so far, no lag on streams or torrents. get 800mps on torrents so no complaints here. Never needed customer service as it works as advertised.

Worst support experience

I have been using PIA for many years with no problems until my last subscription upgrade. I renewed my subscription and added the anti-virus software at the same time. The log-in won't work for the antivirus and after talking with support their response was: "Unfortunately, we’ve exhausted all available steps. We will monitor the situation for any similar reports and investigate further if there's a broader problem" - not only that but my subscription didn't renew in their system after they took my money. I have been trying to contact them for over a week and absolutely no response to any of my emails. So now I have no VPN and no antivirus software and I've paid for the privilege of being dicked around.
