Print24 IRELAND - 4 COMPLAINTS IN 7 WEEKS
My experience with Print24 IRELAND is bad so far.
I ordered something with priority shipping on 17.04.24 which should've arrived on 19.04.24. It arrived on 22.04.24, so 3 day later which made its purpose void and I sent in a complaint.
I received the extra payment of the express delivery back, but no other compensation.
Then I ordered a large print on 24.04.24. It arrived completely damaged. I needed it for an exhibition starting soon after, so its purpose was also void and I sent in a complaint AGAIN.
It took customer service 6 days to get back to me and I received my complete payment back but only as printing credit, so I was bound to order again. There was no other compensation for my inconvenience.
I reordered the print again on 01.05.24. The print arrived on 03.05.24, but was in very bad quality and not usable again. So its purpose was STILL VOID and I sent in a complaint AGAIN.
Then it took customer service, or rather Mr Ian Donnelly, UK and Irland Country Manager, 21 DAYS to refund me my money. It was also mainly refunded as printing credit again, only a very small part was refunded back to my original paying method. I didn't receive any compensation for my ongoing inconvenience.
Mr Ian Donnelly also said that he tried to call me about the problem. I have not received one single call and I double checked my phone number registered in my account and it was the exact right number.
Then on 23.05.24 when I changed something in my account the website changed my EIRcode to a single "1" and wouldn't let me change it back. I was not able to order like that, as my address was wrong then. So I sent in a complaint AGAIN. It took them another 14 DAYS to respond and change it back, so that I could order again.
That makes 4 COMPLAINTS IN 7 WEEKS where only Print24 was to blame.
I didn't receive any compensation and had only troubles with this company. Interestingly in Germany I had no problems at all with this company. Not one problem. So unfortunately it's the Irish/UK branch and their customer service that do not work at all.
They are extremely slow in customer service and you can not expect quick delivery to work as they say.

Do not use/order express service
The express order, although billed and paid for, was delivered six days late, equivalent to the timeline of a standard order at a lower cost. Customer service offered no satisfactory solution, merely refunding the printing costs to close the case.
I strongly advise against using express services, as they lack control over deliveries and rely on unreliable partners.
Regarding the carbon footprint of the business card delivery: departure from the printing house in Germany, shipment to France, return to Germany, then shipping to Austria for final delivery in Austria.
