Messy and be prepared to pay double
Upon arrival it was a mess. They told me I had to pay while everything was already paid . After showing proof, 30 minutes waiting and some phonecalls they “found” the payment. But then they randomly didnt accept my creditcard for the deposit because it didn’t have embossed letters… never heard this word before but if I pay 900 ron or 180 euro extra they however would accept it; more than the rent itself.. one way or the other they wanted to get my money without adding any value which feels very unfair. The car itself was perfect and fine but the first experience with Romania was horrible. I would definitely advice western European rental companies for the next time

Upon checking, you were unqualified to collect the car. The deposit must be blocked on a credit card (VISA or Mastercard) under the name of the main driver with the details embossed and has a minimum validity of six months fromt he time you collect the car.
You were given an option to avail our Packages. The Basic +, which reduces your responsibility and the SMART CHOICE Package. With this package, you have ZERO LIABILITY over the exterior damages on the car, NO DEPOSIT, and you can pay using a debit or credit card (VISA or Mastercard).
We are pleased to hear that you were satisfied with the vehicle itself and that it met your expectations. However, we are genuinely sorry to learn that your overall experience did not leave a positive impression.

Our flight was early hours in the morning about 2am arriving, a member of stuff was waiting for us in the office, everything went so quick and smooth , he even offered to help with our bags as we had our 4 months old baby with us. Really great experience, car was brand new and everything was great. Definitely use them again. Thank you

This provider is a scam in Romania!Do not book!
Stay away from this provider, they are scammers who use misleading tactics to get you to pay a lot more for a car. Just go and book from another provider. Here is my experience:
I booked a car via Booking for 9th of June 2026, with booking number 686174729, because this provider offered a very good price, way lower than the market. When I went to the office, provided a valid voucher, valid insurance purchased via Booking, valid driver license, valid ID and valid credit card with my name on it, they requested my name to be embossed in metallic lettering on the card. And for that reason they lied to me that Booking will not allow them to charge the waranty from my credit card, and asked me to pay an extra 1050 EUR as full insurance. When I refused, they also refused to provide the car. I conacted Booking and the support said every provider sets its own rules, they do not impose that condition.
This is a scam to get you to pay more, and it seems multiple Romanian providers are using it exactly the same. This only happens in Romania, of course, because here you can steal without getting punished. So be very careful who and what you book with, because Booking is in on it.

This condition is clearly stated in the rental terms and conditions, as well as in the voucher provided before vehicle collection.
As specified in the voucher, the security deposit must be secured using a personal embossed credit card, issued in the name of the main driver, with sufficient validity and available funds. These requirements are communicated in advance so that customers can verify whether they meet the rental conditions before arriving at the rental location.
The optional protection package offered at collection was presented as an alternative solution in situations where the deposit requirements could not be fulfilled. Customers are always free to accept or decline this option.
We respectfully disagree with the characterization of our business practices as misleading or fraudulent. Our procedures are applied consistently to all customers and are based on the terms accepted at the time of booking.
That said, we take customer concerns seriously and would be happy to review your case in greater detail. If you believe there has been a misunderstanding regarding the conditions communicated before your arrival, please contact us directly with the relevant documentation, and we will gladly investigate further.

Expectation vs. reality.
I requested a 7-seater Chery Tiggo 8, which was listed as available, but instead I was offered a Mercedes 8+1 minibus. It was a full-size passenger van and completely different from what I had booked, so I naturally refused it.
In the end, I was given a Chery Tiggo 7 with multiple defects, even though I had paid for a Chery Tiggo 8. As compensation, they offered me a €50 voucher, which is of no value to me since I will never rent from this company again.
This is not a serious or reliable company. The vehicle provided did not match the reservation, the replacement was of a lower category and in poor condition, and the compensation offered was inadequate given the inconvenience caused. I would like to point out that Mr. Gratian Dragu at Timisoara Airport did make a genuine effort to help and tried to do everything within his power to resolve the situation as best as possible under the circumstances.
