Bravo to Glenn and the team for getting my first fiction novel some great traction. I'd used a PR firm who charged thousands and generated nothing - but it seems these guys are very much hands-on and customized in their approach. Got some interviews in the pipeline, and we're expecting a review in a national publication next month. Thank you!

As a book publisher we have used this company for years. Their service is beyond reproach as well as their charges. We would not be able to be so successful without their help. We are Writersworld and our testimonials on our website speak for themselves.

I had 2 books that I wanted to generate some more sales and I thought 2 must be better than 1. I paid for the package they had up for offer which was UK and international, I thought again, hitting more places might get something, the press release went out, radio silence, then a month or so later another one went out, again silence. With the database that they claim to have, radio silence nationally and internationally with 2 books should be unheard of. Not even one query. I’m so disappointed and the only reason I’m writing this is because I don’t want someone else to lose money like I have. Such a shame. Literally everyone nationally and internationally isn’t interested? Yet copies of What Nobody Knew I was able to sell myself by contacting various newspapers.

I paid PR4Books £300 on the understanding they would write a press release for my book, and then send it out three times during the second half of 2022. The press release was unusable as they had not read the book before writing it. So very little of it made sense. Their headline was that "it cuts like Marmite" which immediately suggests to anyone reading it that some people wouldn't like it. I wrote a completely new press release for them to use, one that actually provided details about the book. The first press release received a ZERO response, other than a great many "I'm out of the office right now" / "I'm on holiday at the moment" and some of these were dated over 6 months earlier. After the first press release I secured a publishing deal for the book, and at their suggestion we made a few modifications to the second press release. It once again resulted in a LOT of "out of office, will get back to you" automated emails, but no genuine responses. In November 2022 my book was published and immediately began to sell well. We used the third and final press release with PR4Books to promote the publication, but once again received nothing but "out of office" responses. The book continues to sell well, and has received a number of very good reviews. It is the view of my publisher that the PR4Books email database is hopelessly out of date, and/or the people receiving them are sick of their "spam" emails. Either way, PR4Books did not help promote my book at all, and the £300 was an absolute 100% waste of money. I've also noticed that when PR4Books receive an unfavourable review on TrustPilot they often blame it on the content of the book. They can't do that with mine, because once it was in the right hands, it has become very successful. I have written this review not out of spite, but to warn aspiring new authors such as myself, that PR4Books took my money, delivered nothing, and furthermore didn't bother to ask what the response was, because they don't care. This is highlighted by the "reply" they have made to my review. PR4Books are at pains to deflect from the undeniable truth that they attracted zero interest for a book that is now selling well. Glenn also pounces on a targeted trolling of my book on Amazon Reviews that I told him about in September. He has also cherrypicked comments from private emails between him and I, in an attempt to deflect from the cold hard fact that PR4Books were an utter waste of money for me, and further highlights how little PR4Books actually care about what they are doing. Anyone considering to hire PR4Books should take heed, not only of my review but 13 other one-star reviews all highlighting similar issues, and all robustly denied by PR4Books who would rather try blaming it on a wide range of books than accepting that they do very little for the customer, using a database that simply doesn't produce results. My book is currently selling well but no thanks to PR4BOOKS

The press release crafted for me led to many responses, call backs and interviews, including Salvation Army Magazine and Medium! I highly recommend!

So Impressed with PRforbooks.
I am probably writing this a little early but I am so excited I just wanted to share.
I published my book "Cancer Grabbed Me The Throat" in March 2022
It was getting plenty of sales from my 24k plus connections on LinkedIn but not much publicity.
I decided to take a leap of faith with PRforbooks to help me promote my book and boy has that paid off.
Within less than a month, I've had a press realese published in a magazine that claims to be the best magazine for new books.
I've been approached by 3 publishers of news media, 2 in the USA and 1 in the UK.
The one in the UK is massive and own 240 publications in their portfolio.
It's early days but I'm sure I'll be back to re-enforce the brilliance of PRforbooks.
If you're an author, you need to give PRforbooks a look over.
Outstanding company, no hassle, patient, professional.
If I could give 10 stars, I would have.

The marketing campaign with Prforbooks for my first book 'Driveway Detailing Warrior' went live on 7th November 2022, smack in the middle of the ultra-competitive pre-Christmas market. I was working with Glenn and he made the process of creating the press release very easy for me. He was quick to answer all of my queries and has been super-fast in emailing responses to my ongoing queries. This is very much appreciated when a fast decision is needed to drive forward the campaign.
Three weeks into the campaign I have already had an interview with KLZ Drive Radio in Denver US, which went very well. I’ve also secured another interview with ‘In Wheel Time Car Talk’ radio in the US on 10th December. Add to that I have a potential book review being done by Performance VW magazine in the UK for the January 2023 issue, plus potential reviews with MotorWeek in the US, and Hemmings in the US.
All in all a pretty good start, the success of which will ultimately be measured in the uptick of book sales over time. On balance, I would say Prforbooks offer a good value professional service with good support and are extremely easy to work with.

Prforbooks promised good things and they certainly delivered. I received a few queries after the first mail shot and an interview with Sunday World, which subsequently published a full page article/interview. It was great publicity and all very much due to the great support by Prforbooks. The interaction with staff online was always smooth. They were always helpful and explained everything very clearly. I might add that the fee was very reasonable indeed. I recommend this service highly.

I have been so impressed by the service of PR for books. The results I have received have been fast and with quality magazines and papers. Every part of the process has been very easy. I wanted to trial in the UK and have been so impressed I have chosen to go ahead with the international services as well.

I like the set fee format giving access to 1000s of contacts - got a TV interview following week - helpful staff - considering promotion is expensive this service is value for money

PR for books have written and arranged the issue of a press release for my first book Bipolar Adventures and we have gained an immediate response from The Daily Telegraph and BBC Radio Newcastle. The wording of the press release was very good and described myself and the book in a very effective way, would highly recommend to anyone publishing a book.

PR for Books created an amazing press release. The descriptive wording they used showcased the book on another level. They took the book and put it on center stage and shone a beautiful spotlight on it. They are a very gifted marketing team. Authors need their professional skills to help them gain a jump ahead of the rest of the field. Completely satisfied. Asif

PR for Books are a brilliant public relations company, prompt in their feedback and intuitive in their approach. Exposure for and interest in my books has skyrocketed since we started working together, and their combined expertise has taken what I do to a new level. I couldn't recommend them more

I subscribed to this service more in hope than expectation. But, the day after the press release went out, I had a call from the managing editor of The Sheffield Star, who visited with a photographer in tow and ultimately produced a well-timed double-page feature. My book was also adopted by a social media specialist who continues to do a great promotional job. PR for books work with authors and represent excellent value for a relatively small investment. Highly recommended.

I'm extremely happy with the service from PR For Books. My first book, "There's No Business Like International Business", was published in March 2022. The publishers sent out press releases and review copies but there was zero response. However, the release written by PR For Books was not only much, much better, but it generated near-instant results. A great review in the Yorkshire/Lancashire Times already published and several other online media reviews currently under way! Glenn and his team obviously have great contacts and know how to promote a book. Their service represents remendous value.
