NO LIFETIME WARRANTY.

I bought three saucepans under the lure of a LIFETIME WARRANTY. Fast forward to the handles now coming loose, to the point where one pan isn’t even safe to use, and PRESTIGE is NOT honouring the warranty. They’re saying that although they’re called PRESTIGE, they’re not actually the same business: they just bought the name when the original business went into liquidation. Convenient. And who suffers? Yes, the ordinary customer.

To clarify, the original manufacturer of your cookware, Prestige Group UK Plc, went into liquidation in 1996. The Prestige brand name was later acquired by Meyer International Holdings Ltd. As a result, we’re unable to honour guarantees issued by the previous company, as there is no legal continuity between the two businesses.

We understand this isn’t the outcome you were hoping for, particularly given the “lifetime” guarantee.

Goods damaged on arrival and not replaced.

I ordered a set of saucepans to replace my old flaking ones. When they arrived, some were already chipped and damaged. I sent a query to Prestige support but that was several weeks ago and I have not heard from them since despite getting an auto-reply that said they should get back to me in 5 days. Not acceptable when all you want is to have the goods you ordered not be damaged.

Wouldn’t recommend purchasing

I was gifted a new prestige cooking set for Christmas.

Was initially pleased with the set, however, after making a crispy chicken dish which I had always made in my old pans with no problem, I discovered the crispy coating had cause multiple deep scratches to the non-stick surface rendering it useless.

I contacted customer services to be told it was made by sharp cooking utensils (of which I have none as all are silicone) and that a 20% discount would be applied for future purchase.

The cookware isn’t up to standard and nor is the customer service as there is no acceptance that the cookware could be faulty.

I would avoid these pans and purchase a different brand.

Very disappointing customer service

I am so disappointed with Prestige's customer service. I have spoken with them and followed up with an email, with photos attached, asking for an explanation of why one of the saucepans I bought at Christmas has developed black spots which have not responded to any of the treatments I have tried. I have not even had the courtesy of a reply.
Their reply has been cleaning instructions!!!!! I want a replacement pan and Prestige can try to clean this one. One cannot reply to their messages.

Sharing my experience with others

I purchased a set of pans from Prestige in December 2025. Upon receiving the set, we unpacked two of the five pans for use. Fortunately, we noticed an issue immediately the pans began to change colour and appeared rusty after the first use.

I attempted to contact customer support, but it was very difficult to reach anyone, and I was unable to speak to a representative for quite some time. When they eventually responded, they arranged a return via post as I had requested. However, I was informed that 20% of the original purchase price would be deducted because two of the pans had been unpacked.

I find this disappointing, as the issue was clearly a product fault identified on first use, not simply a change of mind. I believe a full refund would have been the fair and appropriate resolution in this situation.

Overall, I am dissatisfied with both the product quality and the handling of my complaint.

I bought the Nadia Hussain bakeware set…

I bought the Nadia Hussain bakeware set and it buckled at 180 degrees they sent me a replacement set and the replacement set is also buckled. No idea if it’s cheap metal they are using but I’m not satisfied. Bakeware sets should not buckle at any temperature especially not 180 do not buy.

Had Prestige for 40years

Had Prestige for 40years - still the original 3 pans, used daily. Just going to induction hob, so will have to replace them. At least the kids can fight over them.

Tried to cancel an order 3 minutes…

Updated review: As you'll see from the reply, Prestige asked me to email them. I did this on March 16th and received an autoreply saying they'd be in touch in within 24 hours and the issue would be resolved in 5 days. It's been 2 weeks, I've yet to hear anything except for receiving an automated email every couple of days telling me that I still haven't given my feedback and that my feedback is "valued", despite the fact I've provided feedback via email and via Trustpilot.

Original Review:
Tried to cancel an order 3 minutes after making it once I realised they were going to charge me £13 delivery, presumably for living in a "remote location". I don't.

Was given a number to call in an automatic reply, and it said the line was open Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. This part of the email also said there would be a short window for cancelling orders. I made a note to call at 9am on Monday morning since the line was already closed. When I called, the recorded message told me the line actually opens at 10am. Between 9am and 10am, I received an email to say they've already dispatched it and there was nothing they could do now that it was in transit. They told me I could return it at a cost of £3.50 instead.

So, all in all, the "short cancellation window" doesn't actually appear to exist and they'll just send you your items anyway, even if you email them within 3 minutes of placing your order to request cancelling it.

The buying experience has left a very sour taste, and I won't be purchasing from them again.

Nice saucepan set

Nice saucepan set, well made and safer than my old set of non-stick which were showing signs of wear and tear, and my new Prestige saucepans certainly look a lot more attractive in the lovely dark green finish.

Told me what parts I needed easy to order..very reasonably priced....the appliance could be easily repaired by me and now functioning as new...so I did not have to throw out or buy a new one.....excellent service...as it should ve in more companies....repair not replace

I purchased a griddle for cooker primed…

I purchased a griddle for cooker primed it with correct oil dried it up after washing and its covered in rust ,after emailing the response had about ten things you shouldn't do to avoid rust, i followed the instructions perfectly but ive no hope of a replacement, its a cheap and nasty item which I never will buy from them again , absolute rubbish.

Service is 10/10. Products are perfect

I ordered a set I wanted to gift a friend for her birthday. The other site said it would take six months to deliver. My son ordered for me on your site on Sunday it arrived on Wednesday. Perfectly packaged in perfect condition. Thank you so much. I would highly recommend prestige and I’ll be using again.
