Warning! Sloppy use of your data
I signed up with my own email, but they keep sending me spam addressed to someone I’ve never even heard of. When I complained, they blamed me and claimed I signed up with this stranger’s name—despite it clearly being their own internal confusion.
I’ve unsubscribed multiple times and submitted numerous complaints, yet the spam continues. In the process of “resolving” my complaint, they even shared someone else’s email address with me—a clear privacy violation.
They cannot explain how they store or manage data, and when I requested their registered trading address, they refused to provide it. For a company handling personal data, that is a massive red flag.
Their founder, Elvis, handled my complaint with the maturity of a teenager—dismissive, evasive, and condescending.
My next step is a formal complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and exploring legal options.
