I thought this was a super helpful SAT prep class. My instructor Miguel, was very kind and helpful with all sections of the SAT. All the resources and questions provided helped me realize what I need more work on and what I am already proficient at. I would recommend this course to anyone!

I learned more about the Digital SAT and strategies to use. I liked the slides and how the class was structured. Miguel was really helpful and even though my math skills are not very good, I was able to solve and get answers right or learn from my mistakes.

Amazing experience

As someone who has their share of impatient and unfriendly teachers, Prep Scholar does it right with their amazing instructors. I felt that my voice was heard. and able to be vulnerable when it came to questions/difficult problems. I really admire the kindness and patience of the teachers and highly recommend the class.

Mr. Paul Dueck was very helpful as my SAT tutor. Specifically, he offered test taking strategies and time management solutions. With less than a year of tutoring and completing the assignments he gave me, my score jumped from 1030 to 1230 after three attempts.

We are not impressed with prep scholar as we feel that this course is designed for kids with lower SAT scores. It is too restrictive by design. If you want to review 2 or 3 sections, the program forces you to pick 5 or6 topics to review. The questions are not designed well either. There are several prep courses that are much better and cheaper.

PrepScholar is a great program for standardized test prep. The virtual classrooms are well designed, namely since there are so few students. This enables more dialogue between the teachers and students. One thing that I struggled with was the microphone on their meeting platform (Kaltura). They could not hear me even with the mic on, but they did hear me once when the mic was turned off. This could be because I was using an iPad (10th gen), but I don’t know. Overall, I’m very impressed with PrepScholar.

Paul Dueck was such an amazing ACT tutor, especially in math! His knowledge and passion for math was obvious in his explanations for the tricky questions, making it easy to understand and fix errors for future questions. He was patient, thoughtful, and thorough--I recommend him for students of all math levels looking for a math ACT tutor!

Amazing, As a rising junior in High school, I have learned more, valuable skills to aid my understanding of strategies, problem solving, and confidence on the SAT. Jennifer has been such an amazing help and has given me the confidence I didn't know I needed!

Impossible to get ahold of someone live on the phone if you have issues or questions after signing up. All support appears to be done via email.

I found the few questions at the end of each topic and drills at the end of each session very helpful. I also felt that my instructor was able to explain each topic pretty well.

My daughter and I decided to take advantage of PrepScholar only one month before her ACT and we’re glad we did! It was a lot of work and my daughter studied 3 (or more) hours per day. In that short of time, it was difficult to complete all of the lessons and get to mastery level, but we also had 14 hour-long tutor sessions with Armaan. Armaan was absolutely fantastic! He helped primarily with math since that’s what my daughter needed to improve the most. He challenged her to think on her own and guided her when needed. Needless to say, my daughter’s math ACT score jumped 7 points! 7 points! She was able to get several more scholarships due to this improvement. We were very happy with Armaan and his help and would definitely recommend him! The whole program was very useful.

Teacher (Ms. Cheryl) was friendly, explained everything well, and clearly gave us the facts allowing for better learning. Very good teacher.

It was a very small class, so the learning experience was very personalized and was able to directly target areas of difficulty. There was also extra time after lessons to answer questions about specific questions on the modules as well as check up questions throughout the meetings. My teacher was very flexible and was willing to help me learn in ways that were best for me!

Ms.Cheryl is a super excellent tutor. We were very lucky to meet her. In her 8 short tutoring sessions, my child made a more progress in English in a short period of time. My child adores her and liked her ways and I am so grateful to her.
At the same time, I am very grateful to Dr. Allen. He is very responsible and supervised my child's learning every week.

My teacher Cheryl Casquejo helped me to push myself in studying. She also helped teach me important concepts that I might not have understood before taking this class.

I had a great experience in Prepscholar and I feel that I learned a lot from the live classes. I learned new tricks and strategies that I used to improve my Digital SAT score. I was able to get a better understanding of concepts that I struggled with and learned from my mistakes. My instructor, Huda, was very effective and easy to understand. She was willing to answer all my questions and provide good feedback. I would definitely take this course again!

She explained and broke down the skill that we needed to learn so when taking the test I could connect what I was doing back to the class.

Mr. Byrom was very fun to work with and the way he teaches by asking leading questions and guiding me only where I needed it was very helpful.

This course was very helpful in prepping me for the ACT. I love how I could ask specific questions during the live online classes and they could answer it for me. But also having the modules and lessons to complete in my own time made it easy for me to create a schedule and study at times that work best for me.
