4 Rejections for 1 Video: An Unacceptable Bureaucracy

I have been a tutor on this platform for a long time, completing over 400 classes with great success. While the platform works well for matching students and tutors, the video update process is an absolute nightmare.

I have tried to update my profile video four times now, and each time it was rejected for a new, different reason. The most frustrating part is the lack of clear, upfront communication; if they had listed all their requirements and 'issues' the first time, I could have fixed everything at once. Instead, they give a new excuse with every single upload, forcing me to film and edit again and again.

First, they rejected a professional video because of B-roll footage.

Then, they said I wasn't visible enough after I followed their first set of feedback.

Finally, I filmed a simple video to avoid 'distractions,' and they claimed it was 'shaky'—which is factually incorrect.

As a professional educator, I am losing valuable time every day just to satisfy an inconsistent approval process. It is unacceptable to treat experienced tutors this way. Fix your communication and your technical evaluation system.

Customer service is good & quick

Might take a while to find the right tutor, but once you do, all works smooth.

Customer service has resolved any issues quickly, even if I contacted them only once over many years of use of the platform.

As a student, I am a happy user of the platform.

Pro tutors no support for students

Pro tutors no support for students
No checks or oversight on tutors
Bots are handling queries
This is a dangerous environment where no oversight is there on the lessons or tutors
Reliance is being placed on infrastructure no human no empathy with students
Only money matters to the platform and service provider nothing else

Subscription system sucks

In general, the idea behind the app is cool, but I cannot understand the subscription system. I'm charged every month even when I cancel or reschedule a lesson - so I effectively lose money.
