Premier yarns is definitely the best place online for great prices for top-of-the-line yarn product products and quick delivery

I recently made a purchase from Premier yarn. It was my first time and I was truly delighted with everything that I got and how quickly they got it to me everything is well-made and absolutely beautiful. I just made my second order and I can’t wait to get it it looks like I might have it this Sunday. They get it out to you very quickly.

If I could give them 0 stars

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I ordered 6 skeins of yarn in 4 colors. I received the shipment today of 1 skein - different yarn and different color than my order. Now I am jumping through hoops contacting them via FB messages and email because they have no phone number listed. We will see how long it takes them to respond. Thankfully I can dispute my credit card transaction if I need to. My first order from them and I am not impressed.

Beware of porch piracy policy

I spent approximately $90 on a yarn order from Premier Yarns, which was stolen from my porch after delivery — a very common issue today. When I contacted customer service, I was told that porch piracy is not covered, even if the optional protection plan is purchased.

This is the core issue: there is no protection at all for customers against theft after delivery. The paid protection plan does not apply to porch piracy, which leaves customers fully responsible for the loss regardless.

Many companies ship via UPS or FedEx, which include automatic insurance (often up to $100). Premier Yarns instead ships in a way that places all risk on the customer, even for higher-value orders.

In today’s environment, porch theft is widespread and predictable. Expecting customers to absorb a $90 loss — with no coverage option available — is unreasonable and out of step with current retail standards.

Premier Yarns could improve by:
• Using carriers that include basic insurance
• Automatically insuring orders over a certain dollar amount
• Offering signature delivery for higher-value shipments

Until then, customers should be aware that if your package is stolen, there is no coverage — even with the protection plan.

Bought the granny diagonal stripe throw…

Bought the granny diagonal stripe throw through Mary Maxim. The photos displayed the item draped over a person’s lap so it was unclear and misleading what the finish piece would look like. I had trouble at the beginning with the corner not being a 90 degree angle. Customer service dismissed this problem but the completed result is a misshapen ugly piece. Tried to reshape it but to no avail. Also frustrated with customer service when seeking help with the pattern who insisted there are no mistakes with this pattern. Apparently it is expected to have this disappointing mess. Also instructor seemed put out because she claimed the pattern was free. It was included in the purchased kit with the Premier Yarn. This was a waste of time and money. Will never use either Premier Yarn or Mary Maxim again.

Unfortunately...I have had problems…

Unfortunately...I have had problems with delivery, having to call and ask where the order is . The customer service is not even close to being professional. Verification of orders delivered and finding out, yes delivered to wrong address in Iowa, I live in Idaho. If this is your choice for yarn....well, good luck.

Horrible company

Run like the plague from Premier Yarns!!!! Although they have some yarns I absolutely love, they are not worth the many issues. Many skeins are riddled with knots, and breaks, continuously found throughout. I cannot find the center pull with most skeins without pulling out a third of the center which is a knotted, matted mess! Some skeins have been so matted I have had to unravel and reroll into balls before I could use. They refuse to post my reviews, even the glowing ones. When I inquired as to why my reviews were not posted, they admitted that they choose which ones to post. If you read through, you will see that ALL their lies have great reviews even though some of their lines I wouldn't use to crochet something for a stray dog! I reached out to customer service to ask that some of these issues be addressed and received rude responses. So, I emailed the CEO, he responded kindly enough, but wanted me to mail him the skeins back. I had used them. I had taken pics, so I emailed those...he never responded back. It is now a month later, I placed an order yesterday and they canceled it today claiming I canceled it. When I asked why they thought I canceled it I got this response: "Due to our last interaction, we feel that our products are not up to your standards. To not leave you unsatisfied, we have decided to cancel your order and refund the payment back to you. Thank you for understanding."...So, rather than addressing the issues, they have decided I can't order. Who the hell does that!!!!? And even though they say they are a NC company, their mill is in Turkey!

Premier yarns os an awesome yarn…

Premier yarns os an awesome yarn company. Great quality yarn and affordable prices. I do recommend. I am an experiance crocheter and I know when yarn is good or bad. So I say premier yarns yarn is good! I purchased a load of yarn from them for the 1st time and It met far more than my expectations. The Premier Parfait chunky is a wonderful yarn. Cancelled order not refunded

Cancelled order not refunded.
I made order via facebook at ~ 10th of December by mistake(one swipe by mistake!), I cancelled it immediately, same day via facebook and got notification that it got cancelled. It obviously never shipped. But they charged me! and never refunded! I waited for a week, I then wrote to customer service at 26th of december: no reply except automated one! they did not honor their own "3-5 business day", neither they ever replied my email to customer service.
I would give them 1 star but the other correct order had been shipped and fine. Really frustrated about this company

I ordered product from this company

I ordered product from this company, which they mailed via USPS. After a few weeks, when I hadn't received the package, I checked the tracking info and it showed that the package had been delivered. Since I pick my mail up at the post office, I knew that I had not received the package. I contacted their customer service, via email since there is no way to contact them by phone. That should have my first clue that this is not a reputable company. They replied that my package had been delivered and completely ignored the fact that it was NOT delivered to me. I responded with that and asked for a replacement or refund. They again responded with a cut & paste of the tracking information and again ignored the fact that the package was never picked up by me and the post office did not have the package waiting for me. They ignored my email. I filed a dispute with PayPal, which they also ignored. PayPal closed the case because I did not escalate it ( which I didn't know that I had to do)
This company is not reputable. Do not purchase from them
