The examination light (approx. €1,000) developed a defect after a relatively short period, which caused significant disruptions in our daily practice involving medical procedures.
What was particularly problematic was the handling of the complaint: instead of a quick resolution, a user error was initially assumed and potential repair costs of around €610 were mentioned. This felt rather discouraging and unnecessarily delayed the process.
Only after an extended clarification process was the device finally repaired as a goodwill gesture. While we appreciate that no costs were charged in the end, the overall process was unnecessarily complicated and time-consuming.
For a medical device in this price range, we expect a much higher level of reliability as well as a faster and more transparent complaint handling process.
Based on this experience, there is still concern that similar issues could occur again in the future.
Contradictory returns policy and VAT issue
I ordered an expensive item but prior to completing purchase I thought better check terms and conditions before ticking the box as buying from abroad and cost. Although their phone contact appears to be UK no.
Their return policy states that unused goods can be returned within 14 days “without stating reasons,” yet the same section later says refunds apply only to a “justified and proper return.” These two statements contradict each other and create uncertainty about how returns are actually handled.
The policy also requires customers to TELEPHONE them before returning anything, with NO option to email- which would result in no written record or proof of this communication , creating a structural disadvantage for customers in the event of a dispute.
In addition, the returns policy mentions deducting shipping, packaging, insurance, and “any other expenses,” but none of these costs are defined or broken down. There is no explanation of the insurance percentage or whether they deduct outbound shipping, return shipping, or both.
As a UK customer, I also noticed that EU VAT was still being charged at checkout, before payment completion- which should not happen post‑Brexit. Therefore, UK buyers risk being charged VAT twice. Their VAT states 19%, UK VAT is 20%.
These issues made me uncomfortable proceeding with the order. Their returns policy is permissive on the surface but is vague, restrictive, and lacking transparency in practice.

In the end I had to pay for a courier to collect the parcel, or lose it...

Missing items, customer service unwilling to investigate further
I placed an order as a consumer (B2C). Items were missing, and the parcel was clearly marked as having been opened and resealed at a DPD facility. Customer service refused to assist in any way, citing B2B law that I am responsible for the items once handed over by the courier. Customer service was unwilling even to contact DPD to understand why my parcel was opened. Over 80EUR of missing items. Incredibly unhelpful service.
Got order after false information and 5 weeks delay
I made an order that was supposed to be delivered in 2 weeks.
I noticed that the shipment had been divided into 2 partial shipments, first one being ready for delivery.
After waiting 4 weeks I sent an email, got a fast response that they are out of stock for a small adaptor, and the order will be sent after 5-6 more weeks. I told them that their platform tells me about partial deliveries. They told me that it must be an error and they wont do partial shipments, I'll just have to wait.
After waiting 3 more weeks the order was shipped.
Received it today, the products were fine.
It seems you can't trust what their website and platform tells you, and the customer service was not open for any solutions nor did they take responsibility for their errors.
Can't recommend, but it does not seem like actual scam (like many others say here).

I have been a loyal customer of PraxisDienst for almost eight years, regularly ordering supplies for my practice. Unfortunately, my recent experiences as a business buyer have been deeply disappointing. Delivery times have become increasingly unreliable and longer than expected.
In my latest order, I purchased three Kombipur-TT platelet function tests, which were delivered in November with an expiration date of May 2025. For such specialized products, a mere six-month shelf life is unacceptable for practical use in a busy practice. I contacted PraxisDienst three times to address the issue, but each call left me more frustrated than the last.
The customer service team, made up of unmotivated employees, failed to offer any viable solutions. Despite being assured multiple times that the matter would be escalated to a supervisor or that I would receive a callback, nothing ever happened. By my third call, the responses had devolved into curt and borderline rude remarks.
During this time, I refrained from paying the invoice until the matter was resolved. However, the only communication I received from PraxisDienst was a steady stream of reminders and overdue notices, escalating to the second dunning stage. Despite my written and verbal inquiries, no callbacks, follow-ups, or meaningful responses were ever made. I had to take the initiative repeatedly, only to be met with unprofessional and unfriendly treatment.
When I asked for a resolution—whether a replacement, a discount, or any goodwill gesture—I was flatly told that the expiration dates are clearly listed on the website and that it’s my responsibility as a consumer to check. The comparison to checking the expiration date of milk or yogurt while grocery shopping was not only inappropriate but downright disrespectful.
This experience has been a complete failure on both product quality and customer service fronts. I will not be ordering from PraxisDienst again. Unprofessional, unhelpful, and unfriendly. Avoid at all costs!

Despite the negative reviews I had read, I decided to place an urgent order for a product my father required.
I placed the order on Thursday with the understanding that I would receive it by the following Wednesday. However, on Friday afternoon, I received an email stating that one of the products was out of stock and that they could not process the order unless I agreed to substitute it with a different flavored product.
I accepted the product swap, however, I received a subsequent email stating that neither the alternative product is currently available and that I will need to wait 2-3 weeks.
I requested the cancellation of my order as I came to the conclusion that it would be unwise to rely on their statements. They confirmed the cancellation, and I was informed that the full refund would be credited to my account within a few days.
Following up after a week, I reached out again to inquire about the status of my refund. To my dismay, I was informed that an internal issue within the finance department had prevented the initiation of the refund process.
After few weeks, I finally received a refund. As a recommendation, I advise to avoid this company.

Despite encountering some issues with the DPD delivery service while my order was on its way from abroad, the company was incredibly helpful and responsive to address my concerns. Thanks to their dedication and professionalism, all the issues were promptly resolved, and my package arrived safely. Although I haven't had the chance to use the ordered equipment yet, it appears to be solidly built and well-crafted. The worst company I've ever seen.
syringes were urgently needed for military medics who work for wounded people. The day before the order, the company informed that there were 200 pieces in stock, so I ordered them, because they are not available anywhere else. I paid 287 euros, but after payment I was informed that they are NOT available. You have to wait 2 weeks, maybe less. All in all, after 3 weeks of waiting, they said we had to wait some more. As you understand, URGENTLY NEEDED FOR THE MILITARY is not a month, but every day is important, because people die. The refund took from July 4 to September 10 (3 months). The most irresponsible company that deceives its customers about the availability of the product.

I placed an order back in January with this company. The package was stuck in customs for 3 months. The company is set up to be obstructive and unhelpful. The customer service employees were polite but essentially unable to help. I wasn't able to contact their managers as "they don't have phones and only respond to messages 72 hours later".
I would stop short of calling them a scam as 4 months later I have received a refund but this took a lot of time, patience and frustration to get. Avoid using this company. Subsequently I have purchased a similar item from Hab direct and it has arrived next working day.

Received broken glass and no refund
Received the package with glass bottles for phlebotomy. There was no "fragile" or "glass" tag on the package and One glass bottle out of ten was broken.

After contacting them, They refused to exchange the package and just offered to reimburse one bottle. The package is full of glass, do they really expect me to use the other bottles covered with glass for some phlebotomy.
