No Refunds

Annual subscription automatically came out of my bank. Called up to see about getting a refund on the same day as I don't need this service anymore. They never called me back with a response so I had to chase this up and apparently they can't offer a refund of any sort. In my settings on the app I had even selected monthly billing, so even with my late call for cancellation a fair response would be to pay for one month only. Not the case and no room for compromise. Its left a sour note for an application I would otherwise have recommended.

Don't trust this company

Don't trust this company! They have been charging me double for over a year now! As other reviewers have stated when bringing this to their attention they don't want to know or answer! The best thing you could do is download all you customers to csv and go to a different company!

I'm sorry to hear you've had this experience. It looks like you may have purchased a subscription through iTunes or Google Play on one account and also set up a direct subscription with us on another. We can't control or manage the Apple or Google subscriptions – that's on their end.

Technical Help

Woody helped me with an issue i had on the software. Someone from the team was quick to respond and discuss what issue i had and how to learn from it. Im quite new to powered now so still learning everyday on how to use the system but feeling more confident with it every day. Very helpful staff highly recommend powered now which has helped my business with ease.

Looked in for 2 months just for looking

Was looking at their subscription inside the portal, and before I knew it, I had been charged twice £44. Beware! I tried to cancel immediately via the cancellation process. I was only trying to compare plans and their offering; now I have had to pay for two months for nothing. They clearly store your card details long after you leave. Communication is very poor.

Payment taken when subscription cancelled

Subscription was automatically taken out of the bank, at a much higher cost, without any prior notification. Plus, the subscription was already cancelled a couple of weeks before on the app. Rang customer services who were very unhelpful and offered just a £70 refund when £324 was taken. I was told they aren't notified with cancellations from the app - then why is this even an option? This is unacceptable service and is basically a theft from my bank account from PoweredNow.

Hi thank you for the review. I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience. We did communicate our price increase to you in August and October. There is also a renewal reminder 3-5 days before the subscription renews. There is no way to actually cancel a subscription within the app if you subscribe direct. You can delete the account which prompts a message to let you know the subscription will still be live, this also did not happen. We pride ourselves on our customer support and agreed a discount for you based on you forgetting to cancel, as a goodwill gesture. It looks like there may have been a breakdown in communication around you trying to cancel as we did not receive any requests from you.

I’ve been using Pow"Powered Now – A Must-Have for Every Tradesperson!"ered Now since…

I’ve been using Powered Now since November, and honestly, I don’t know how I managed without it before. It’s completely transformed how I run my business. Everything is so much more organised now, and the time it’s saved me is unbelievable – no more chasing paperwork or struggling to find documents.

The platform looks really professional, which makes a great impression on customers. The online certificates are easy to create and send, and the fact that I can upload photos directly to the certificates is a brilliant feature. It helps to keep everything in one place and gives a really clear record of each job.

One of the biggest positives for me is the customer service – it’s absolutely second to none. Dawn Edwards in particular deserves a big shout-out. She’s always at the other end of the phone, friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help with any question I’ve got. That kind of support makes a massive difference, especially when you're busy on the tools all day.

Powered Now has made running my Plumbing and Heating business more efficient, more professional, and a lot less stressful. I’d highly recommend it to any tradesperson looking to save time, stay organised, and deliver a better service to their customers.

Powered now is Excellent

Powered now is Excellent. Having been using a rivals product for a few years this was a delight to use. It has made our business less admin heavy and I’ve stopped spending 3 hours a day in the evening doing paperwork now. This is an extremely well thought out product and suits our needs more than we ever realised. From the initial contact and visit by Dan who was brilliant through to the onboarding, training and set up with Woody and the rest of the team. It has been an amazing and positive experience with literally no stress. Nothing was to much effort. If you’re considering this product just do it. You won’t be disappointed it’s like having another member of staff working in the background. To the managers who read this fr I’m powered now you have a great team there, this is exactly what customer service and focus is about. We will be recommending this wholeheartedly.

I received an email saying my annual…

I received an email saying my annual subscription of £150 had lapsed, and there was a button to renew my subscription which I tried pressing but nothing happened so I sent an email asking for my subscription to be re instated which they did, but upon checking my bank they had taken £325.

When i phoned to ask why more than double had been taken from my account, when I had received an email on the 27th of February saying my annual subscription of £150.
The guy on the phone call asked for a screenshot of the email and said he would phone me straight back when he had an answer. That never happened but he did send me an email saying that the £150 was the old price and the £325 is now the new price and hope that clears it up for you ....
But no it didn't as I wasn't willing to pay £325 for a service I hardly used when there's cheaper options out there.
So I asked for a refund and from then on all communication stopped. So I've now done a charge back with my bank, and signed up with intuit quickbooks for £1/ month for 6 months and £10/ month there after which is a far more reasonable price and suits my needs.

The renewal email also contained information around the price you would be paying this year. I appreciate you may have overlooked these but we took every step to let you know. We are also still communicating via email so the communication is and will be completely open. We pride ourselves on our customer service and transparency is of upmost importance to us.

Empowered by Powered Now

Got set up with Powered Now and while I’m still finding my way around all the features I have to say how wonderful all the staff are.
The help and support is amazing, they bend over backwards to help you and get you up and running in no time, with one on one training and guidance and follow up support.
As I use the system the easier it gets and I and my customers love the conformation features/ emails of work to be carried out and appointments.
This system is worth every penny and I can’t tell how nice it is to come home after a hard day and not have to do any administration.
Time is precious and I can’t tell honestly say this system saves me at least 2 hours a day😊❤️👍
