I Lost Thousands Buying the Carestream CS 3600 from PowerBasedMedical.com

As a practicing dentist, I’ve spent years building trust with my patients. We rely on honesty, transparency, and professionalism in every aspect of our work. That’s why it’s so disheartening to share this experience — because I never expected to be on the receiving end of a scam.

A few months ago, I purchased a Carestream CS 3600 Intraoral Scanner from PowerBasedMedical.com. The website looked legitimate, the prices seemed competitive, and the communication was smooth—right up until the payment cleared.

After wiring several thousand dollars for the unit, I expected shipping details, tracking information, or at least a timeline. Instead, I was met with silence. Emails stopped being answered, phone calls went nowhere, and no scanner ever arrived.

I’m sharing this story not out of anger, but as a warning to colleagues and customers alike: PowerBasedMedical.com failed me, and I don’t want it to happen to you.

If my experience saves even one dentist from going through the same situation, at least some good can come from this loss.
