High-End Designs, Low-Tier Service: Proceed with Caution

I am a long-time admirer of Poupette St Barth’s designs, but my recent experience purchasing directly from their website was incredibly disappointing. While the brand positions itself as a luxury label, the customer service experience was anything but.
My order was shipped significantly later than promised, yet when I attempted to return the item, I was met with immediate resistance. It took over 10 emails and a lengthy, difficult back-and-forth to finally receive a refund. To make matters worse, despite the shipping delays being on their end, I was forced to pay for the return shipping myself.
A luxury price tag should come with professional accountability. While the brand eventually "buckled" and returned my money, the process was exhausting and unprofessional.
My advice to other shoppers: If you love these pieces, buy them through a reputable third-party retailer like Saks or Bloomingdale's. Avoid ordering directly from their site unless you are 100% certain you won't need any assistance or returns. I will not be purchasing directly from them again.

DO NOT order from this company

DO NOT order from this company. They make you pay for all returns, including international return fees, tariffs, and other charges. The customer service sucks, and it took over a week to get a response to my return request. I actually had to email them multiple times. Their dresses are so expensive, which I'm fine paying, but if you're paying that much, returns should be free. DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY unless you want to pay more for the shipping to return the item than the actual item.

Waste of time - don’t bother

Website states easy returns. Couldn’t be further from the truth. Sadly any items you might not want to keep you have to jump through hoops to return:
- print the initial order email
- get an authorisation number (write clearly on the parcel & on piece of paper and place in the parcel)
- repackage yourself and write the address
- pay for the tracked return yourself

Needs to be tracked. Just paid £30.85 to return a dress for £150 that really was ill fitting on me, hence I didn’t keep it. Kept one item.

But at no point does it state that returns are in the US. I wouldn’t have purchased in the first place. I did look at the returns policy as a matter of habit but you couldn’t access it unless you had an order number! I assumed it would be UK or Europe at worst.
Really misleading and a shame they lack transparency as I’ve purchased once before and kept the items. Now I know the returns process - I’m never buying again.
