Charge on ATM withdrawal

So much for cards that don't charge when using them abroad.
Poste Italiane now charge €5 to withdraw money from their ATM machines using any UK type of card, such a con now.
I've now tried a few of mine that do not usually acrue any charges until now.
Italy just continues to amaze me how anything ever works... They find any method imaginable to make life more difficult for the average person.
Wow Brexshit keeps on giving...

Can you imagine

Can you imagine, I can't withdraw money with my passport because my wallet was stolen in Rome. I mean, I'll starve to death if I don't have a card?
I have a police report about a stolen wallet.
Don't forget, I have a flight the next day.
When I return, I will definitely sever all ties with your bank.
A terrible bank with terrible service and terrible employees.

It has a very weak customer service

It has a very weak customer service, their bad system does not solve the customer's problem but they themselves create problems ,and when you call the green number to solve the problem no one responds. That's not a bank. I don't recommend depositing your money.

TERRIBLE ESPERIENCE!!

Customer for several years of a Postepay Evolution card. I make an online payment several times and the amount does not go through. I contact the company that was supposed to receive the amount who tells me that the card is not enabled for payment. I call the Italian Postal Service toll-free number and, after almost an hour, I finally get through to a support person who tells me that the card is blocked but does not know why. I go to a post office and am told that they are not aware of any blockage! I go back to my office and try again to make the payment online. Nothing! The card cannot issue payments. I go to the post office again because the payment was urgent and had to be made within the day. They repeat to me that the card is fine and not blocked (absurd!). The clerk then invites me to make a withdrawal at the special ATM outside the office and the card works by making the transaction correctly! The clerk advises me that if I urgently need to make the online payment, I should then open another Postepay card at a cost of about €20.00. I opt for this solution still taking almost an hour, then the clerk transfers to the second card the amount contained in the first one.
Back in my office I take another half hour to make the card change in the website where I was to make the payment which finally goes through.
I call the Poste Italiane toll-free number to complain that I was not notified that my card had been blocked without notice. After almost 20 min I finally manage to talk to a lady. While asking for an explanation of why I had not been notified of the block the communication mysteriously breaks down. Terrible experience and lost a whole day!!!

Sort out your idiotic online system!!!!

Decided to do a postepay when on holiday visiting my family in Italy. I had to associate a telephone number to be able to open the account and gave my English number. Long story short, I cannot make payments online because I can't get messages on my phone from Italy which is absurd. Got in touch by email, got in touch by message and got told that the only way of changing my associated phone number is to go back to Italy and do it in person at the post office. Are you actually kidding me? This would never happen anywhere else. I am Italian and I think that this is a total joke. Sort out your idiotic system and make an option for people that don't live there to be able to change things online!!!!

Very frustrating banking system

I made a purchase online and my account was pre-autorized. They took the money out of my account and placed a hold on the transaction. now that eBay has cancelled the order and the order wasn't successful postepay doesn't want to return the money back to my account. I went to their office to make a complain they said I should called numero verde. Very frustrating banking system.
