They must do what they promise. I called for an HEMA card of €5,- and after a phonecall they promised allways that gift even after a refuse of their offer. I refused in that call their offer, but never became that gift. Shame!!!

Scammers, no way to really unsubscribe, never give them your information.
I was approached at my door by the Postcode Loterij and could not speak Dutch to understand. He said he could speak English, but all the information was in Dutch. I was nervous that it could be a scam, so I immediately told him I wasn't interested. I should have went with my gut feeling.
He insisted that it was a completely free one time play. He had me enter my information and when it got to the payment part, I became nervous. I told him that I wasn't interested if it automatically signs me up for a monthly payment. He insisted that it doesn't. This was a COMPLETE LIE to scam me into signing up and he knew I couldn't read Dutch in order to find out the truth until it was too late.
He told me it would only charge me a euro to connect the account and it would be back in my account within a few hours. Actually, it charged me 20,50 which I didn't get 20,00 back for a whole month, and they just decided to keep the 0,50. Then they charged me ANOTHER 20,00 for a monthly subscription. He completely FLAT OUT lied to me to get me to sign up and took advantage that I do not speak fluent Dutch.
The worst part is that I found this out while being pregnant and having just been in a severe car accident where I was injured. So I then had to try to get my money back while I'm very unwell. I tried contacting via live chat and Facebook. Both said I needed to contact them via the phone. Then I tried to talk to someone via the phone, and they told me they aren't allowed to discuss anything Postcode Loterij in English, that it's ILLEGAL. How funny is that?! It sure wasn't illegal when they were scamming me and taking my money. But when I want my money back, suddenly, it's illegal. It's absolutely insane. I've never seen a more blatant scam going on so publicly.
I've just accepted at this point that I won't get my money back and have to suffer the loss. But if these people come to my door again, I will immediately chase them off my property. I encourage anyone else to do the same, because they will try to scam you.

I subscribed to Postcodeloterij.nl with the understanding that the first month would be a free subscription. However, I was unexpectedly charged on the 15th day, which was contrary to what was promised. When I reached out to their customer support for assistance, I found them to be unresponsive and rude. This experience has left me very disappointed, and I caution others to carefully review the subscription terms before signing up.

I dont have to contact you I don't play your thieving lottery I was just giving the people some advice on how to cancel it really is that simple to cancel there direct debit and insist that there bank dont allow yous to steel another penny
This Company is a total scam, and I wonder what the Dutch government is doing that scammers are roaming free. They drop you a card in your mailbox showing you have won something, asking you to call to get your gift, when you call, you get connected to a crazy mess, once one person hangs up, the other time a woman answers rudely, and instead of telling you about the gift, reads something about deleting your contact number from their directory and not calling you again. Just this crazy...

I had to leave a review after reading some of the comments, which are hilarious. You really thought it was a free ticket? Are you that naive?
I have been 'paying' the monthly fee and have won several books, chocolate, decorations and this week EUR 200 worth of activities/experiences. And every user receives a voucher book which saves you alot of money if you visit attractions through the year.
So far happy.. hoping one day we win the 20m. likely wont.. but.. yeah, so far so good

Horrible customer service.
When I called I literally had an employee hang up on me mid-conversation because her shift was over.
So I used their contact form (got an automated response, so they received it). 1,5 week later still no reply back, despite it saying I could expect one in 3 business days.
So I used their chat. Got a meaningless “oh sorry you were inconvenienced” reply.
Pro tip: if your mother was a member for decades, and she passes away, and you have to let NPL know, expect them to treat you like dirt. Zero respect for this company

this company is a total scam like mafia I try to cancel my account, but they keep reactivating they basically stealing money out of my bank account

Please be aware of the cancellation process with this service. During my first cancellation attempt, they suggested I call again, but afterward, it seemed my phone number was marked in their system, and they stopped responding to my calls. Additionally, one representative pretended not to understand English, but it later became evident that they spoke it very well. This is a typical deceitful behavior towards customers. The cancellation process was a nightmare. I had to use different phone numbers to reach them. Eventually, after persistent and firm communication, they processed my cancellation.

I’ve just paid for one ticket through the lottery web page advertised on Instagram and I’ve been waiting for more than 30 minutes to end the process, but it seemes that it doesn’t work at all. Actually I’m still waiting while typing this message, stucked at the 75% of the process.
So… do I have lost my money? I guess I did.

Trying to cancel my subcription as we are moving, but I am not able to reach them via the phone number provided. The line cuts out. So frustrating!!! Would think twice before signing up.

When I signed up as a gift from my company i had no idea this was a monthly fee.
So I simply called to cancel and it couldn't have been more purposefully annoying. Everytime i was mentioning I want to cancel they were saying please wait so we can transfer you, so I would wait 10-15 minutes and they would do the same thing again 4-5 times.
Last guy I was transferred to, was giving me long speeches in Dutch, and when I kindly and patiently asked to speak English at least three times, he continued speaking Dutch and then had the nerve to ask me in English "do you understand, sir?" everytime he would finish his monologue.
So anyway i had enough and just blocked them from my bank account. I recommend you do the same

Got another letter in my email saying that I had a free game if I had a golden ticket. I open the envelope and I have a golden ticket. So I enter my data, including bank account number, because I know I have the right to a free game. It doesn’t work, so I try to put my data again. Nothing. Today I check my bank account and a 40€ payment for postcodeloterij was scheduled for tomorrow. Cancelled immediately .
Right after I try to call them to cancel any subscription I might have made unknowingly, and they say they can’t help me because I don’t speak Dutch. I say “ok so can you explain me how to do it online? Because I’m having trouble creating an account” to what I’m answered once again that they can’t help me because I don’t speak Dutch.
So, what am I supposed to do then?
Honestly I think this is outrageous. Never want to even receive another letter from this game again.

Big big scam!!! As others, I made a mistake by singing up and suddenly I started receiving weird phone numbers calling me even at night. Cancellation via the website is not possible although it’s stated in their website. You are forced to call them, being hung up on when you speak English, and then they treat you disrespectfully.
Completely scam!! Shame on you.

You keep saying you can just cancel online on “uw persoonlijke pagina” yet there is no option at all! Stop lying.

Reply from Postcode Loterij
I already cancelled that time and everything was fine. That in itself was a terrible and LONG experience. Only when i complained here did they actually do something about it. Even now AFTER MONTHS of not being apart of the Loterry, they are still taking €14 from my account ALL the time. I have to always refund it and it's getting obnoxious. I just asked for a refund and got my money back rightfully BUT THEY TOOK IT BACK AGAIN THE SAME DAY. Stop taking my money.
