Just put log on fire and huge crack appeared had this fire for 1 year only would not recommend thus fire

Unfortunately it seems that you have left a review on the wrong company's page. While we are called Portway, we are Portway Domestic Appliances, and do not sell fires/stoves.

It appears there may have been some confusion with the brand or supplier.

Decent company for trade and public.

Its good to see that portway are still going strong in difficult trading conditions.
from 1999-2005 i was in business i started up a small domestic appliance business after being made redundant from a firm that used portway.
portway are a top company i bought loads of appliances great choice of brands could always rely on the guys at end of phone for advice on products etc.
Im no longer in business but id recomend any small business trying to source major brands this company is great to deal with i was based in glasgow and got regular weekly deliveries.
Kind of miss being in the business.....Keep it going guys..

Good Staff Make A Difference

I contacted the company “Shop Sales” email to buy a hob fan but sadly whilst listed it was as expected no longer available.

An apologetic email from Lisa was swiftly followed by another as she had taken time to seek out a location of the item parts plan with codes and ability to purchase.

The prices were cheaper than I had found and were original parts so I was very happy, in fact replacing parts was simpler and cheaper than replacing the item totally.

It was refreshing to find a lady who saw her job as more than just generic button pushing excuses but one of genuine apology and a wish to help.

Well done Lisa you are a credit to your job.
