I purchased a pop socket case and grip sometime ago. The grip had fade and wear marks very noticeable. But at that point it was almost a year. I reached out to the company. And without hesitation they found my purchase, and made it right. Thank you for being an honest company. Very obvious they aren’t only concerned about money. But with a great product!
Wonderful Customer Service
I think we often only write reviews when we’re angry, so I’m here to write a glowing review of PopSocket customer service. On Tuesday, February 3rd I emailed PopSocket customer service with an explanation and a couple pictures because my MagSafe pop grip, which I’d had for about 6 months, was breaking. Two hours later I had a response from PopSocket that they would send me a replacement, and here I am on Sunday night, 5 days later, writing this review on my phone which has my replacement pop grip attached. Five days from initial email to having the replacement in hand. Wonderful customer service.
Lies and Delays
They delayed shipment until after multiple complaints, so the product arrived too late and had been replaced with another purchase. They agreed to process a refund, but have not. When asked repeatedly to actually process as agreed, they insist my bank is at fault, showing me random, unprofessional screenshot with ZERO actual information a bank could use to confirm or look up any information. Their customer service is the worst in the business - better to buy anywhere besides the manufacturer - the customer service is clearly AI and makes promises it can't actually accomplish, the product's tracking indicates it did not ship from the claimed country of manufacturer......it feels so much like a scam I won't be using their site again.

First off I waited a very long time! Second off I was told there would be a mystery pop socket which never came with it. Third I was sent the personalized case for the wrong phone and was told I could not receive a refund or exchange as it is a personalized item! Not happy will never order again

I ordered a pop grip with a free surprise pop grip in the Black Friday deal. Ordered 1st Dec 2025 and email to say shipped on 3rd Dec and nothing! No tracking updates - it shows order placed but that’s all.

So basically I CAN order to Finland, but if I choose to so so I don't have any way to contact support without selecting wrong country.
Now I'm left with my broken Magsafe popgrip (cracked when removing from Magsafe. I suppose you aren't supposed to remove magsafe from the case 🤷♂️) and no way to get support.

Horrible customer service.
Popsocket only gives their customers one hour within their business hours to cancel their order. It would have been nice if they actually replied within the hour instead of two days later and then shrug and say "well, there's nothing we can do, you can send it back on your own costs though!" They're not being open about suddenly only shipping from the US. I had to email multiple times back and forth with them to let them know that yes, I understand I cannot cancel the order anymore seeing as they took two days to reply, but that I refuse to pay for the return as it is their fault for not replying in time. The only reply I got? "We cannot cancel the order at this time, but you can easily send it back!" Absolutely frustrating.
If you really want a popsocket, get it from somewhere else, but not directly from their website, especially if you live outside of the US. Their customer service is horrendous. It is not worth it.
Dont trust the discount code
I do know this item is good quality in my experiences, however I used a discount code that was provided via Text, I applied the coupon code at the checkout, no savings. Dont let them fool you, this btw was purchasing for there site.

Customer service? Abysmal
This is one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. All for a phone case that probably cost 20 cents to make and costs $40.
I ordered on 7/16 and noticed a few hours later it somehow had the wrong shipping address. I admit fault by not reviewing the order although that’s never happened to me before since I haven’t lived at that address in over a decade.
Anyways, I reached out to PopSocket through their website a few hours after the order was placed. I was hoping for a resolution. Instead, I got an email on 7/17 from Marion, customer advocate manager, starting with an intro with the usual corporate response but also stating “Your order has been processed too far for us to change the address”. It’s been roughly 24 hours.
The other options were to either retrieve it from the wrong address or hope the people who live there return it back to PopSocket unless it gets shipped back on its own. Are you kidding me? It’s 2025 and there’s no process in place for this? I can’t imagine I’m the only person that’s done this no accident. The best part is I didn’t receive a shipping confirmation email until 7/21. Based on when that shipping confirmation email came in, it seems crazy to me there is literally no way to stop or correct it on their end beforehand.
I reached out to USPS and had to pay an additional $27 for package interception and go pick it up at a post office instead. Why did I pay $27? Because there was a high chance I wouldn’t be able to get it from the previous address, which means I would be out $40 anyways.
I’ve been on customer service side of things for most of my life and I’m currently a senior / lead in a customer facing role. I would never present the options that were listed to me in that email. We also have this scenario happen with customers at my job and we have a few work arounds because of how often this happens. We didn’t use to, but due to the increased volume of this happening my company pivoted and put systems in place to mitigate issues for all parties involved. I will NEVER buy from this company again. $40 for a piece of plastic and this is the type of customer service you receive. Insane.

They charge premium prices, but take forever to ship. While waiting forever for an order, they had the audacity to send me a "how's your new case?" survey (that I didn't have), to which of course I left a 1 star review and expressed how my $1 Ali Express case from China was arriving faster than my $106 domestic order from Popsockets. They were so salty about this review that they, the shipper, requested my package back from UPS before it arrived, so I never received anything and they didn't even refund me. They also censored my review. Very petty, unsatisfactory seller. Go filter the reviews on their own website and you will never see 1 stars. It's always 4/5 stars, but if you read them, the 5 stars are usually bad because it will get censored otherwise. I'll be blasting them in all review spaces/social media possible, and probably a YouTube video, until I get my unrefunded money's worth.

"I've been a loyal PopSockets user since their original version. While I've encountered occasional issues, particularly with the adhesive on the early models, their customer service has always been excellent in resolving them. The improvements in the V2, especially the swappable tops, are fantastic. Despite some negative feedback I've seen, I'm a big fan.

It took over a month for my popsocket wallet to ship. They sent me an email saying they would refund me for my trouble. However, it's been over 2 months and they've totally ghosted me without a refund. What a shame.

Never received my order
I placed and order 9/22/24, today is 10/12/24 and they still have not shipped my product. They said 3-5 business days in the reply email when I inquired about my order on 10/2/24. You can only email them. No phone number…..this is a scam . Don’t waste your time. I wouldn’t even give one star.

Popsockets has always been a favorite accessory for the sole reason that it helps keep you from dropping a $1500 iPhone to the ground. Lately the collabs they've done have really produced some cool Popsockets, and I love the MagSafe bases that really hold on tight to the case!
