Amazing! I bought the advent calendar of small wonders this Christmas and it exceeded my expectations. The children absolutely loved it. I would highly recommend Polar Post.

I have shopped with polar post for 6 years
I have shopped with polar post for years now. Every year the service has been great and very reliable. Regular updates on Instagram provide reassurance if needed. If I have had to amend my order or had any questions, I have always received a reply from Tiddliwinks the following day. The letters are incredible, the personalised address and PS seals the deal. I’m so glad I found them when my daughter was small. We have a special box of all her letter from Father Christmas, same hand writing, same paper, every year. What’s not to believe! I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my magic!
Much better experience than last year.
I actually wrote a review last year, stating I would never order from them again based on their terribly shocking customer service last year. However, here I am, giving them 5 stars.
We have been a customer, for now, 5 years and have spent a fair few pennies on the company. The letters are honestly beautiful, and I’m not sure any others would compare. I decided I would try one last time and if I had the same experience as last year, then that really would be it as they aren’t cheap!
This year, has been the easiest year by far for ordering, the whole process was incredibly smooth - with no glitches - unlike previous years.
I came home from work today,29th Sept, to find my order already delivered. Such a contrast to last year, when I ordered on opening night (believe 30th Sept), and still hadn’t received my order by the 18th December. I did selected the magic address, hence the quicker delivery.
So impressed, so pleased and so glad we gave it one more try. We will continue to be a customer for another year… with many more to come (I hope!)
Thank you, for listening to customer feedback, and choosing to do your orders another way this year, it totally seems much better so far.
Good luck for the rest of the festive period.
5 Christmas stars for this business
I'm honestly surprised to see 1 star reviews! This is such a a beautiful business and the customer service I received last Christmas was above and beyond my expectations. I live in Australia and missed the deadline for international cut off by a matter of hours and the owner was so lovely and accommodating when I reached out to her, and I received my order in time for Christmas Day! Please don't let the negative reviews deter you, this is a genuine business and totally full of magic, you won't regret investing in them to add some wonder to your little ones Christmas experience.
A lovely small business
A lovely small business. The newspaper and tokens I ordered were such good quality and have become a Christmas morning tradition in our house. Merry’s jelly beans were delicious too!
Unique and magical
We order every year and every year the children just are overjoyed that Father Christmas wrote to them. The newspaper, the little postcards, the little ticket stubs...all the details add up to the magic. They take the words in the letter to heart. The items are all so unique.
The order always takes a while to arrive but I think Amazon have shifted our expectations of what shopping is! British made products, small businesses, Royal Mail delivery shopping is never going to be fast!
AVOID AVOID
Shocking customer service. Late arrival for items. No Instagram comments just shows they know how they’ve messed it all up. Will not be spending my money with them again. Greedy owner - AVOID
No order received and terrible customer service
Ordered on opening night in plenty of time for Christmas after seeing their lovely products. I chased early December and received a rather rude reply, it was as if I should be thankful that Polar Post even accepted my order. I waited patiently for 2 more weeks but after chasing several times and receiving no reply I tried to message on Instagram but all messages and commenting was disabled so I am assuming I wasn’t the only person. To this date I have still not received my order, a dispatch notification or a refund for the £120 I spent with them. A few reviews I have read stating to other unhappy customers “I hope you change your reviews after your order arrives”. Nobody is going to change their reviews if their “Christmas” products didn’t arrive in time for “Christmas”. A 2024 letter and other dated products and chocolate items are pretty useless in January but I’m not holding my breath to receive them anyway. I will be claiming a charge back with my bank as Polar Post are not replying to emails. I ordered off other small Christmas companies and received my orders within 3-6 weeks of ordering.
Polar Post: I no longer believe in you
Sadly I am another long term customer who will no longer be placing our family traditions in their hands.
Firstly the service this year was unacceptably slow considering my order was placed within the first two minutes of their opening night in September, with a letter arriving for one child in November, and the letter for my other child not arriving until mid December.
On opening the letters, an additional add on had not been included, so I emailed on December 23rd and am yet to receive a response. Had I received an explanation or my order rectified I would have used this company again, as mistakes can happen, however the total silence tells me exactly what Charlotte actually thinks of her customer base.
The approach to customer services is audacious. Sadly the enterprise this year has smacked of pure greed and has left a very bad taste in the mouth of this long time supporter.
Worth the wait
I'm so shocked by these comments!
I've shopped with Polar Post for years and I know the drill. They take longer than other companies but they are SO worth the wait and mine have always arrived in time for Christmas. I love them as much as my children do.
True believer
We have been going to Polar post for the last 3 years for our sons Christmas letter. Every year has been better and better with a unique story behind the letters. There is so much love and care that goes into making this.
We have never had any issue with delivery as we make sure we put our order in as soon as they launch.
Would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to add a bit of magic to christmas morning.
Cannot wait to see what you do in 2025
We love Polar Post
We love Polar Post in our family and find their approach to Christmas authentic, refreshing in a world so full of commercialisation, and above all truly magical.
I was very saddened to read the reviews from people who do not share my experience. I find that with all independent brands who work with a tight profit margin that delays or changes to even the best laid plans can occasionally be unavoidable. The benefit of purchasing a truly ethical, individual product that has been painstakingly worked upon such as Polar Post however will always make this more than worth it.
I applaud the Polar Post team for constantly pushing the boundaries, creating more and exciting product each year and for staying true to their business practise when I’m sure they could easily make changes to make things quicker, more commercial but less special, individual and less “them”. Staying true to one’s mission is not easy in ann environment when consumers expect everything now.
We love you Polar Post, thank you for another wonderful Christmas.
What did I pay for?
I did actually receive a letter just in time for Christmas which is a relief, and apparently better than many many others on here! But I was coming here to just say… what exactly is it I was paying for? I am a first time purchaser, expecting pure magic and more for the money! Unfortunately the short letter I received is nothing more than something I could have done myself with a computer and auto-fill. Really disappointed for a very expensive product!
Polar Post - A Beautiful Tradition
I first ordered from this Family business in 2022 after falling in love with the first Christmas letter; the calligraphy, the embossed envelope just all of the details - the start of a new tradition.
This year I ordered like many others on launch night and my order arrived and the items are just stunning as usual. I ordered more items this year including the large chocolate coin and the North Pole pencil which is written about in this years letter. I then placed a separate order as I decided to take the plunge and order the beautiful hat box. This hasn’t arrived yet.
However, I follow on Instagram and I seen that there had been some fulfilment issues which for a small business owner must be extremely frustrating and difficult especially due to the nature of the business. When I seen that owner Charlotte had said in a video that Polar Post would be sending all uncompleted orders out next day delivery I tried to reach out to say just to send my order whenever they could rather than have the added extra expense.
I get that people are disappointed and most are frustrated as they just want their items but they will be truly worth the wait. I hope all the one star reviews once they receive their items edit their reviews to reflect the quality and passion which goes into Polar Post.
I hope that Polar Post is able to survive this unprecedented time, as a family they can enjoy the festive period, and they can continue to make their items for as many years to come.
I hope to always be able to order and continue the Tradition for my daughter 🩵💫
Take care Polar Post x
Edit: The review titled: “what did I pay for” - you get to see a preview of the letter before you purchase with the edits/personalisation.
Also, those who writing that this has “ruined” their Christmas - seriously?! I get that it’s disappointing however your child isn’t really going to think Christmas is ruined because they did not infact get a piece of paper, c’mon, there’s literally children spending their last Christmas with family. Do better.
Absolutely awful, no letter, no communication.
I searched Google to see if I could find an alternative email account to contact about our letter (or lack of letter).
From the fact they’ve disabled comments & aren’t responding to emails - it shows what a mess this year has become.
Polar Post, over the years have asked you to trust them, to take them into your family traditions.
We ordered early doors & not one single communication - no alert so we could source an alternative. Just our money taken..
Speechless.
Shocking
Like other reviewers I also placed an order around 2024 launch night for a Christmas Morning letter. This letter arrived 13th December, which would have been fine, I anticipated it would arrive much later after placing the order.
Unfortunately the letter I received was only half printed, the bottom paragraph and signature.
I reached out to Polar Post Monday 16th, no reply.
I chased them twice and got a response 18th December to say it was being sorted and a new letter would be sent.
It’s now December 23rd, no confirmation that a new letter has been sent and no reply to my further emails requesting an update. I have also requested a refund which has also been ignored.
I have ordered with PP for years, and will never do so again.
I am so disappointed that they have allowed their quality and customer services to dwindle down to this.
The absolute WORST customer service…
The absolute WORST customer service I’ve ever seen. Ordered my letter mid October and was meant to be delivered in 6 to 8 weeks, but have nothing from them. As we were travelling to Belgium on 11th December for Christmas , I contacted them at the start of Dec and was told they would prioritise my order. Since then I’ve heard nothing back. Their email says they will respond in 48hrs but it’s been over 2 weeks and 3 emails later I’m still waiting on a response. They’re is literally no other way to contact them. They post stories on Instagram but nothing they do is in line with their own promises.
How can a company in this day and age have such terrible customer service. Why offer such a special service to families where you are unable to fulfill the service you offer.how does it take 6 to 8 weeks to write a generic letter, with the only real customisation being offered is the address and the selection of signature. It’s a ridiculous system that they wait for all letters to be ready and post them in batches!!
Can you imagine , still no tracking details or even a basic update regarding my order and it’s 18th December now. Now we have no hope of receiving it in Belgium before new year even. Given the regular delays in post during Christmas time you would expect them to fullfil and deliver all orders before the start of Christmas madness given that they start taking orders from September!! It doesn’t take 3 months to write A letter!!
They have put allot of stress to me and other families who make sure to order gifts and presents well ahead of time. Polar Post have honestly Ruined Christmas for my family and little boy who won’t have anything from Santa this year. I will never be ordering from them again and will be spreading the word about them to save others from this shitshow of a business!
Price went up hugely year on year & quality reduced
The price of the letter went up £5 in a YEAR, including an EXTRA FEE to write P.s. at the bottom.... the postage has also gone up, meaning that ordering a standard letter has now gone up to just under £30!
I received the letter today and the quality isn't even the same anymore- the added broadsheet has reduced down to an A5 flyer and the ink on the front isn't as high quality. You've lost a customer for life.
Ridiculously long wait for delivery
Having ordered mid September 2023 it is disappointing that I, along with many others, am STILL waiting for the order to arrive. Our 1st December box won't contain its usual letter from Santa. As other reviews have eluded to, clearly Polar Post have taken on more than they can handle. I have ordered several times in previous years and even with postal strikes I have never had to wait this long before. It is a shame as the products are really beautiful albeit no longer original as many companies are offering very similar options. Unfortunately, the lead times will have me shopping elsewhere next year.
