Please do not use this merchant for your merchant services.

Please do not use this merchant for your processing - they fraudulently reopened a never accepted account and charged me monthly in a sneaky manner that my accountant didn’t notice. I’ve been paying them monthly for nothing. I’ve never used them because the fees were astronomical and we canceled the order. This was 3 years ago. I had a psi compliance come up in 2020 and they told me not to worry about it I didn’t have any accounts. Flash forward -now my accountant picked up on these magical fees hidden with very little information. I had to go back in my emails and it shows when we started down this path. I’m so grateful those were there. They are a fraud and steal from small businesses. I was promised a call and no one did and I called back to have someone tell me they are not refunding anything. They also didn’t cancel my accounts as promised. Now I’m being told I have to cancel separate which means I won’t be able to verify myself anymore and won’t be able to talk to anyone. Not like I can now. Thousands of dollars- I will be going to the is attorney general and I will be letting every business owner I know about this.

If I could give zero stars I would!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Someone somehow got into my account and bought gift cards with all my money. They left $14.62 in my account.

Point customer service is basically non-existent. No phone number to call. Only email and text message support. There has been almost zero communication from Point in trying to resolve my issue.

It has been 6 days since I opened a ticket and not even one communication since that day. I am still trying to get support to update me and they are not responding to my pleas.

This bank's support sucks BIG-TIME!

I didn’t even want to give it a star

I didn’t even want to give it a star. No customer service. They will answer when they take your money but can’t answer when you need a verification of payment. Horrible. I gotta stop messing with these online reward gift no Getty ghost banks

Love my card

I've had my account for six months now and made hundreds of dollars in cash back. It's nice to earn high rewards without worrying about the interest charges that I sometimes get with credit cards.

Membership fee paid and cannot access account

I signed up on the website. There they ask you to pay your membership fees. I assumed, since they were accepting payment already, that my account would be accessible online. Other apps like Sofi have this option. Nope. I have an older phone and the app is not compatible. I reached out to customer service and was told I should just “buy a new phone”. Since then, all customer service has done is promise to get back to me, or send smart ass responses. They were quick to respond while I was commenting on their social media accounts, but then communication moved off social media and it was back to the same old no response.

Point card is amazing

Point card is amazing, and I have been a customer since 2019 before there was anything special, just a debit card with 5 discounts and now with multiple ways to save from grocery shopping to my daily coffee run and have offered excellent customer service thought not by phone, but by text and I prefer so you can message customer service on the go.

Point terminated my account when I questioned them

Unfortunately I have been the victim of a suspected fraudulent company.
I found Point App (Point.App) that is managed by Radius Bank to provide my online and self-employment banking needs.
I was shocked at the $99 annual fee, but reluctantly paid it thinking that I would be able to have a bank I could trust and rely on.
My issues started when Point allowed a $1,300.00 CashApp transaction to be made using my debit card. I immediately called them and flagged it as fraud.
I was told that NO provisional credit would be issued whatsoever.
I was told that "Regulation E", which requires banking and financial institutions to provide a provisional credit to your account within 10-business days of a fraudulent transaction reported, did not apply to them. This is a lie and deceptive business practices.
My dispute was closed on Day 8, saying that they saw "no wrongdoing".

Fast forward a few weeks and I had an item that was never delivered. This was for $1,028. I waited a few days and waited for a response, to which a dispute was opened on 9/18/2021. The dispute team started their investigation on 9/20/2021, and I was told by Aubrey at Point that I would have my credit issued by the end of business on 10/1/2021, which is today.

I contacted their customer service and was told that she misspoke, and it is "10 full business days, not just 10 business days". This is a lie. They did not want to provide any sort of provisional credit.

I now just received an email saying that after my ticket (citing Regulation E) was escalated, they have closed by bank account permanently and effectively. This is absolutely wrong and vile.

Point offers almost zero customer service, and has no backing whatsoever. When they were caught violating Regulation E laws with provisional credit, they immediately terminate your account because they "are god".

Beware of this company who can just up and nilly-willy close bank accounts when you try to correct them.

The CEO and Founder, Patrick Mrozowski, refuses to manage his company, Point, and it is doomed to fail.

I love point

I love point. I use it for all of my purchases and the rewards are fantastic. I have struggled with credit card debt in the past and point is the perfect solution to still receive rewards for my purchases while not getting into debt.

Debit Card with the Best Benefits

Before Point, I was using a traditional debit card. As a college student, I was never really used to the idea of credit, and since my friends were often paying with cash or debit, I never felt the need to switch to a credit card.

After seeing Point's capabilities, I realized this is the perfect card for me. As someone who wants to spend without having to worry about going over my balance, I can do that with Point. On top of that, Point's benefits system is great since I don't feel like I'm missing out on the credit card benefits that my parents claim make the credit card system so great. Even better, Point rewards me for buying from some of my favorite merchants (including Philz Coffee, Blue Bottle Coffee, Sweetgreen, to name a few).

New Ways to Earn

I've always been an avid debit card user because credit cards intimidate me a bit and I would always prefer to spend what I already have and not have to worry about repaying it or interest. But, debit cards just don't have the same perks as a credit card does. Then came Point.

Point lets me spend the money I know that I have without extra charges and interest with all the perks of a credit card! It's nice to be able to add it to some of the subscription services I use and earn cashback points on it. It's like I'm earning on auto-pilot. A lot of the times, I forget what merchants I can get points from so I try to use my card often and when I get the little notification from the Point app, it's a nice little surprise.

This card makes earning cashback easy and it's nice to know there are no hidden fees.

Favorite way to spend

Before Point, I would only use travel and airline credit cards. I never truly understood how the travel points accumulated, and even when I did manage to book a flight with points, it would be a pain to coordinate the booking through the third party points platform (Chase's travel portal, for example). With Point, I get favorable rewards from some of my favorite brands, including Spotify, Netflix, and Headspace. Plus, I don't have to worry about interest charges because I'm protected from spending money I don't have due to the debit card format.
