A terrible experience and a complete waste of time and money
A complete disappointment. One of the worst excursions we have ever taken.
We chose the Valli Express because it was presented as an excursion through the Comacchio lagoons, with the opportunity to see the famous pink flamingos.
Instead, we spent almost three hours being taken around the marshes and shown old fishing huts and very old, run-down buildings. We found the whole experience extremely boring and completely uninteresting.
We did not see a single flamingo. Not one. We saw two herons and two crows. That’s it.
On top of that, the organization was terrible. We had to wait for about 30 minutes in the scorching heat for the boat, and then, after the excursion, we had to wait another 30 minutes in the heat for the minivan to take us back to the campsite.
Three hours of completely wasted time, with practically nothing to see and a price that is absolutely not justified by what we actually experienced.
This was one of the worst excursions we have ever taken. We absolutely do not recommend it.
