Responded to an emergency callout, and also helped manage an emergency amendment to the original callout (due to a bit of a medical issue at my end)... still helping ensure this was the sameday despite the changes. The plumber was professional and courteous and the work was completed efficiently and well. Thank you.

Had to pay a £144 bill for a call out charge and attempt to clear with rod or plunger. (this is to get them through the door). Then ended up paying an additional £645 for jetting to clear blockage. They are very pushy to encourage you into additional services. Never seen another company charge upfront. All other plumbers provide an initial estimate for basic works and any call out fees, then provide an invoice once the work had been completed.
I can honestly say the only positive thing about these is that the plumber that came onsite was reasonably friendly and understanding. However, the office have the worst customer service skills I've ever witnessed. If you don't pay immediately (not always possible for companies as they require approval 1st) They will harass you with a barrage of calls until they get payment. Some staff restrict you to 1 type of payment option, but others openly offer alternatives, so conflicting options. Once the job was done they called to ask for feedback/review, once she realized the feedback was constructive criticism and explaining the above details she rushed me off the phone and was not interested. Every call I received they rush you off the phone, haven't got the time of day for their customers. Don't care what you have to say, only care about what they want to say, have a rude tone, huffy, speak over you and then just hang up before you can ask any questions. The plumber that attended onsite said a full report of further works required, plus the works that had been completed would be sent over. 1 week later nothing has arrived. I call the office to be greeted by an impatient rude lady that kept huffing an puffing suggesting I send an email. If I wanted to send an email, I would have. I called to get the report sent over and confirm it would be done. However this rude lady was not interested claiming its another department that deals with the report, I asked to be transferred which she said wasn't possible as that department is mobile. (The plumber already told me he sent the report to the office, and they would send it on. How is this department mobile). I was not happy with her attitude and lack of willingness to resolve so I asked to speak to a manager. Apparently they don't have managers. I asked to speak to a team leader. Apparently no one is above the rude lady. I asked what her role is. Apparently this was not allowed as she hung up on me.
I don't usually leave reviews as life's too short to get hung up on things that are below you, but this is embarrassing and a total rip off in value, plus the team on the phones could learn a thing or 2 about manners. I wonder what the owner of the business thinks, or if they are even aware of the shocking service their team provide.
NOW SEEING ALL THE OTHER REVIEWS ON HERE (shame I didn't check 1st), LOOKING AT THE PATTERNS IN THEIR BEHAVIOR AND CHARGING METHODS, I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO AVOID AND WOULD GO AS FAR TO SAY THEY PROBABLY BULLSHIT MOST OF THEIR PRICES AND RIP CUSTOMERS OFF.
I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND WILL ADVISE EVERYONE I KNOW TO AVOID THEM. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING SERVICE.

Plumber arrived same day as the call made despite not being urgent which was amazing and immediately diagnosed the issue. Parts were ordered and came back on a Saturday for me and was fixed in less than half an hour! Really polite and professional chap!

Called for shower low pressure (non emergency, just realized, they are an emergency service company), Here is how it went for me,
Plumber: "It is either pump or shower mixer tap faulty, first I will replace mixer tap and then pump if required, I will do process of elimination today."
Me: fair enough.
Company calls: Plumber has diagnosed as mixer tap faulty, cost for work is £495+ VAT.
Me: Ok, What is the break up, how much is the mixer tap?
Company: This is our system generated fixed price, I cannot tell you that,
Me: Can I speak to Manager or owner and just know the price of the mixer tap please.
Company: No, there is no one here who can tell that, it is the system.
Me: Ok please close the job.
Company: Then pay us £144.
Me: Ok Paid & Done (forever), plumber left.
Please beware, they will arrange plumber immediately, If you said yes on the phone call to confirm Plumber is assigned to you, you are entitled to pay £75, once arrived at door, it is £144, no going back from there. This is an emergency service not the usual plumber work, just to do quick fix or hunch work for time being.

They are emergency plumbers so I expected a high price. However there invoice says they did work that they did not do. They were booked to come the following morning (today) as we had found a leak in the kitchen. I paid £144 upfront. They arrived on time and immediately discovered a radiator in the kitchen had failed. This part was good. Their final invoice says they drained down the system removed the radiator and capped it off. In reality they did not drain down the system, they simply turned off the valves at either end of the rad and tipped the rad contents into a bucket. They then left without capping off the valves. They charged me another £390 for this, a total of £534. They will not commence work until you have paid the final invoice in full. I contacted them and said you have not drained the system but I was told, “it doesn’t matter that’s the price”I am grateful they were there to find this leak but once your in it’s just about the money. £144 for a planned call out…ok. £390 to remove a 2 foot long radiator and not cap it off, then exaggerating the job ? ? ?

This company brings a bad name to the industry and should not be trusted to do a decent job at a fair and reasonable price. Greedy in their pricing: unscrupulous in their approach: brazen in their dissembling to justify it. Don’t go near them.

I cannot fault the person who resolved my problem. He was polite, knowledgeable and completed the job very efficiently.
However the fees charged were exorbitant and I will never use the company again.
I would urge everyone to afford using this company until they have a fairer charging system

The staff are rude and abusive, stealing honest peoples money in broad day light, paid £144 for them to come out and do absolutely nothing, didn't even attempt to clear the blocked pipe, tried to charge another £500 to actually do some work, called to discuss and received immediate hostility and verbal abuse and threats, these people are disgusting unprofessional cockroaches and should be put of business. A local plumber sorted the issue for £150 in half an hour. These lot are criminals. Don't know how they sleep at night. Reporting to trading standards.
Following the reply below, it was not the engineer who was rude, it was a member of your staff on the phone. The engineer didnt even attepmt to clear the blockage. I don't believe your intentions are honorable, if they are you'll simply give me a full refund, which I doubt you'll do or this would have already been done. When I asked questions the day before I was given answers like how long is a piece of string. The wording in your documents provided to me is unclear, i questioned this and was mislead. It is the responsibility of a business to ensure your service is clear and understood. There is only one acceptable outcome here, agree to refund me in full and I'll consider updating my review. You have caused me and my family unnecessary stress, and additional expense, I have a young child and couldn't use the kitchen sink, dishwasher or washing machine. If there was a shred of decency, humanity or understanding within your company, you wouldn't employ the kind people you do, I suspect this a cultural issue within pm247 as it is clearly allowed to thrive based on other reviews here on trust pilot. I suspect the slightly better/good reviews are fake or paid for. You have my name and all my details if you wish to contact me.

I have a rental property in London and my new tenants reported to me that their bathroom loo was badly blocked. I tried all kinds of unblocking products currently domestically available but nothing worked. By this time it was 5 p.m. and I was leaving London the next day. I called PM247 and was answered immediately, reported the problem and was told an engineer would be calling by within the hour. I had to pay the initial cost of £144 incl. VAT upfront. The engineer arrived within the time-frame, but could not unblock the loo using non-mechanical devices so was obliged to use heavy duty, unblocking machinery which he had available. I paid the balance of £414 including VAT and within an hour the blockage had been removed. My tenants were clearly delighted and very thankful to me for the efficiency and timeliness in which the work had been carried out. You can't do without a loo! I have since been advised that although £414 is by no means cheap, the whole process could have cost even more and been carried out within a much longer time frame. So thanks to PM247.

I called PM247 up as my shower was leaking into my neighbour’s flat. They sent a plumber round the next day who diagnosed the problem, however they then quoted me almost £3,000 to replace a leaking waste pipe. I asked them to break down this quote and asked why it was so high, as on their website they advertise as a company that charges hourly rates. In a rude tone I was given a vague excuse and told that they do not charge by the hour. So for a starter they are misleading the customer from the get go.
I then contacted a local plumber who told me that they were trying to scam me and that the price was extortionate. Whilst I was on the phone to him unbeknown to me my neighbour had let the engineer back into the building, he knocked on my door and stated that until I paid the £144 call out fee he could not leave. As a young woman living on her own you can understand how threatening and scary this was. I agreed to pay and he left. Meanwhile the company were continually calling me so I called them back and asked if they could send me their bank details as I did not feel comfortable paying using their payment link (the link seemed dodgy and I had never heard of the payment service). I also requested that the engineer moved off my street as I felt threatened with him waiting there until I paid. At which point the woman on the phone became extremely aggressive and started shouting at me down the phone.
Later in the day the local plumber came round and fixed the waste pipe for £400. At this point I still had not received bank details to pay the call out fee, however I was continually receiving calls and threatening voicemails stating if I did not pay up then they would escalate things.
After multiple emails back and forth arguing with them trying to get them to send an invoice and bank details I finally made the payment a few days later.
The whole experience has affected my mental health and made me scared to be in my own home on my own. This company are nasty, prying on vulnerable people excessively overcharging for services which could be carried out for a fraction of the price.

We had a blocked drain which they quoted £144 (inc VAT) to clear. On inspection, they suggested we have a full investigation with camera etc at a cost £1,074 (inc VAT) and we were persuaded to go down this route as the engineer told us this would ensure any residue blockage which could not be seen visually would be picked up by the camera and we would be assured that the blockage was cleared. Six months later we have exactly the same problem (same toilet and same drain) and PM247 will not even consider coming out to look at it without charging us. So over a thousand pounds literally down the drain!! Would NOT recommend this company.

Total rip off.
£120 call out fee with girl on phone saying 9/10 they can fix with rod or plunger.
Bloke arrived, ran taps and said he’d need to use the wet vac and probably take sides of bath. Rubbish.
His mate turns up and says 9/10 wet vac sorts problem.
Pm247 then call and tell me the total cost will be £425!! And I needed to pay now before anything was done. Also saying he didn’t think the wet vac would work as it rarely does…??!
I tell him to tell his guys to leave as not going to be ripped off like that and won’t be paying call out charge given how it was initially positioned.
Long story short, I ended up paying £250 cash, and the wet vac sucked the hair out immediately.
Total chancers and I reckon most people fall for it.
