I was to change my plan to yearly instead of monthly but that didn't work. Thus I thought maybe I was to stop my actualling billing period and start a new one yearly. That just ended in a 500... See more

Thieves
Thieves - sign you up as auto renew and debit your card without warning and you cannot get your money back. Honestly just thieves.
Thieves
Thieves!
Free trial is a scam! They debit your card immediately and then They tell you they cannot issue refunds! I asked them to delete my data and issue a refund. They deleted the data and claimed they cannot issue a refund because my data has been deleted and cannot be undone! Thrives! I don’t even use the site or find it useful. Terrible. Do not bother with what they call a free trial. And get this - they charge you for an annual subscription so it’s very heavy. And they cannot return your money. I will report this to the highest levels until I get my money back!
Abysmal customer support
The company inexplicably closed my account, despite the fact that I purchased a year long subscription only 4 months ago. It's impossible to reach a human being. Calls to their support number, 801-784-9007, are forwarded to an automated message instructing the user to email. Then the connection is terminated.
I have yet to receive a response from customer support from the email I sent. I will contact my credit card company and dispute their charge. It doesn't matter how great the courses are if the company just takes your money and can't stand behind its product.
Avoid. Simply avoid.
Bought some of their courses from another platform in late 2022, saw nowhere specifications about said courses being time based subscription and found out recently that I'd not paid for those courses but "just subscribed".
Carry your money elsewhere, there are alternatives more clear about what are you paying for with your money.
I've always enjoyed the cinema4d lessons
Beware before signing, check their terms and conditions!
Unfortunately, I didn’t google search for the company before.
Once you sign with them, be sure that they will try to charge you for as long as you live, based, as they say, on their TERMS AND CONDITIONS. You don’t have the option to cancel through the website, and you will somehow have to contact someone 30 days before expiration, this someone will not answer, and at the end of the year they ask you to pay for renewal.
I was totally lucky as my card had expired so they couldn’t charge me for the next year! STILL, they keep sending me emails claiming that I owe them the money for the next year subscription, although I don’t use their service at all!
After several back-and-forth emails they almost blackmailed me!
I really hope these guys will go down soon.
Horrific Company, sneaky terms, borderline entrapment!
Very sneaky terms and conditions. I signed up my service desk for a 12 months subscription. After monitoring the platform, I noticed we weren't using it enough to warrant the cost. PluralSight then proceeded to send me a invoice for 3500 dollars demanding payment. Granted, I missed the 30 day termination (hidden in their terms) but when their Sales rep sold us the platform, they were never clear on this.
Take your money elsewhere and do no deal with these absolute crooks, disgusting company and extremely poor business model. I certainly will never use them again, and will be informing all my friends partners and resellers to avoid at all costs.
Don't use if you have to pay yourself...
I have used them occasionally when an employer has paid for them, or been given a free trial.
Basically they are not worth paying for, as most of their content is either years out of date or or a half-arsed cash-grab by a content creator who seems to be day drinking while preparing the course.
If you have money to burn, sure, why not, but to be honest, there's so much free content on YouTube that's both newer and better, that it seems worthless to use Pluralsight.
Do not give them your payment information!
This website is corrupted, do not put your payment information on there. They do not offer a way to remove your payment method, one must always be active and cannot be removed. The support team does not reply to your cancelation requests either.
Engaging content with plenty of knowledge checks
I've used Pluralsight for a Google Cloud Digital Leader Certification. The online course content was great. It was engaging and had plenty of quizzes to test my knowledge along the way. I would highly recommend!
They auto renew from expired cards
If you have an expired card on their account, they can still take your money. So make sure you cancel before the subscription ends.
I've had a lot of emails from Pluralsight recently offerings me 50 or 60% off - for a very limited time! But I now get these emails once or twice a week, every week. The 50% off offer changes to 60% but all they did was put their prices up by 10%, so it made no difference. I don't think it's bad value but this is no longer a trustworthy company..here's why:
They were taken over by Vista Equity Partners about 2 years ago and the trouble seems to have started then. I have heard countless complaints about people being unable to cancel subscriptions or being auto renewed without their knowledge. For me, I knew my subscription was about to expire and had no interest in renewing because most of the content was becoming out of date. Also, my debit card had expired so I assumed they could not auto renew. But no, they still managed to take the money, at the full subscription price, without any offer of a continued discount. They actively make it difficult to cancel by burying the unsubscribe options and I think they even have a notice period...seriously, they are acting like Sky. I managed to get a refund from them, so I am grateful for that and the service I received was pretty good when I complained. But it still took over a week and I had to make a security complaint to my bank because I had no idea they could take money from an expired card. I think it's a real shame because they used to be a nice company to deal with and the content was good. But I would rather watch youtube videos now and their competitors offer far better services. Pluralsight are a classic example of how to destroy a company reputation via private equity takeover. Unless you really like the content and have a firm grip on the account, avoid.
AVOID AVOID AVOID
AVOID AVOID AVOID, Don't even go near the free trail. This is a trap and is difficult to get out of. Support just don't reply when you want to cancel. From what could be a great platform the sales and customer services is clearly just to trap clients in auto renewing hell. I dealt with Graeme Glennon who is clearly on a percentage deal and care more about ramping up his monthly figures then the long term relationship with clients. I cant see them lasting long treating customers the way they do.

Killed my Lifetime deal from TrainSimpe
When Pluralsight took over TrainSimpe they killed my Lifetime subscription from TrainSimpe.
How much would it hurt to honer the deal with customers that you got from that acquisition?

I've used you guys in the past
I've used you guys in the past, tried to have another ago, but couldn't even pay! Tried a Visa and a Mastercard, both didn't work for some reason, then tried with Paypal and got a notification of insuficcient funds because you were trying to charge me 221.51£ instead of 184,59 £ . Why would you try and charge me more than what you say? Just because of the above I moved to another provider, no transparency, website's weird and support taking ages to reply
The platform doesn't offer any interactive material in data science area
The platform is meant for DevOps and IT specialists only. It falsely advertises itself as for all tech skillsets/teams, which is highly inaccurate. As of 2023 May, it doesn't have a single interactive option - code challenge, lab, path, skill IQ (assessment), or even an interactive course - for data science. All learning material is just generic videos. If that's all you want/need, save your pennies, and just find a topic you're interested in on Google books (or any other platform you prefer) & open it with voice reader and voila!
Just for skipping through content
Just for skipping through content. They blocked my account and I reached out to customer support to unblock it and received an email, if it happens again. I will be permanently blocked. WOW
