I personally feel like there needs to be a class action lawsuit filed on behalf of every Plum dispenser owner. It is apparent they went out of business leaving every owner high and dry (literally). I have a $80 bottle of wine stuck in the left chamber with an error code for now 18 months. Dozens of calls and emails and not a single answer
I am out $3000 and I read on here many others are as well. I can’t believe they did not provide remote support solutions even if they went out of business. I would be willing to bet every owner would pay a small fee to retain remote support in order to access the unit and repair
If not, this is deceptive marketing, as they are still selling the units!
I’ve had my plum wine dispenser for about two years now, everything was going well till about six or seven months ago.
I ordered the CO2 tank, they came with speaking to a live person, and the first chamber locked up. Couldn’t get anybody on the phone or email for weeks.
Fortunately I put a stop payment on the credit card, hoping somebody would contact me. Nothing! For another seven months I was able to use the left chamber until it finally locked up yesterday. This whole time I’ve been holding out hope, I’m done.
My dispenser broke first time I used it (it was my fault as I put the bottle in incorrectly) and I bought it at a charity auction so it was out of warranty. I purchased a refurbished replacement, which was 9 months ago and no one will call me back or respond as to status. Very frustrating. They were great to deal with when I was trying to fix it but now there has been zero response. I feel like I got scammed out of $500 honestly on top of the cost of the original unit. If someone reads this from Plum I just want a refund back to my credit card at this point unless this is shipping immediately.
Total waste of $2500! Machine keeps locking up and won't uncork bottles. If you happen to wake somebody up at Plum they can remotely uncork your bottle but that can takes weeks even a month before they answer your call. They have a very sad and weak support system. We finally just quit using this useless overpriced wine refrigerator as that's basically what is is. Problems started about 3 months after purchasing. Great idea if it worked but there is ZERO support when and it will go bad.
Plum apparently is out of business. We have one we have used for a couple years but is throwing an error code and of course no responses from their support number. If anyone knows how to solve error code HPWOU, please let me know. I don’t know how someone was able to buy in December 2022 since it seems they filed for bankruptcy in Nov 2022 but you may want to file a claim, you should have received an email notice about the filing and there’s a link there.
I bought two dispensers and have had trouble with both. No response at all from customer service after tirelessly leaving voice and emails. What a waste of over 5000USD. Ordered replacement argon cylinders and other parts in November- just under 300 USD to maintain the units and still have not received anything in the middle of December. Would not recommend anyone invest in Plum. Waste of money and my great wine just leaks out of the faulty units. Seems like they also take the money for maintenance parts and don’t even honor that…. Total scam
Having trouble with my Plum. Contacted support - No response. Have been calling their help line for over a week. Can not get through to anyone. Just get a recording. They must be in big trouble as this is no way to run a company
The appliance stopped working after less than 2 years. Tried to contact the manufacturer by email and phone during the past 3 weeks multiple times and they simply do not respond. Thought the company went out of business but it seems they are still selling products, beware!
