Death of June’s Journey

Due to playtika’s business practices, I am watching the Death of a previously great game, June’s Journey. Many fans are disbanding their teams and finding other games to play. The shoddy tech support, the glitches, unannounced drastic changes, and reported loss of individual’s game resources make this game a stressful nightmare to play. Do yourself a favor and pass on this game.

Playtika/Wooga=June’s Journey bad move

Playtika/Wooga=June’s Journey has taken away the fun of being in a team generated club. Their recent change to the cafe at restricting drinks served to teammates is distorted and they have done the wrong thing! We were fine serving up to 5 drinks for needed energy to be able to play the game and the twice weekly competitions! Our team has been reduced from 15 down to 10. NO MORE competitions for us, no ad watching..we collect our ONE drink, our coins and leave the game. I “used” to play hours a day, but NOT anymore, Boycotting this unfair strategy to get players to PAY. I have spent my own money on store items and diamonds but NEVER again!

BOYCOTTING PLAYTIKA AND WOOGA!!!!!!!

WE the JJ community have lots to say about this company. Since their take over from WOOGA. WE have been lied to by them on numerous occasions, WE have been called names by their sexist and biased community manager DARIO WOOGA on FaceBook, WE have been given falsified surveys, WE have been taken advantage of by greed and uncertainty. OUR NOW EVER SO STRESSFUL CAFE HAS BEEN DEPLETED, teams are breaking up, the millions of dollars invested into this company by the members is criminal at this point. We are being robbed unhappily now. WE ARE UNDER BOYCOTT STATUS. PLEASE BE AWARE ANY NEW MEMBERS DO NOT SPEND ONE HARD EARNED PENNY IN THIS GAME.

Wooga developed an incredibly fun seek…

Wooga developed an incredibly fun seek and find game called June's Journey. The graphics were awesome and the game was challenging and incredibly fun to play. Playtika bought Wooga and started changing the game a little at a time - smaller prizes, harder challenges, etc. Their changes were not properly tested before being promoted to production and the errors really started to show. The last change they made to the game was absolutely horrible. Playtika buys games which are free to play and then monetizes them. They took June's Journey and completely trashed it. Check out what player's are now saying about June's Journey on June's facebook page.

Playtika has ruined June's Journey

Playtika has ruined June's Journey. What once was the best hidden object game is now a mess. Customer service is unresponsive, technical glitches abound, and now management has decided to destroy the Coffee Lounge feature. My play time has been seriously decreased. Thinking about quitting altogether.

Playtika and June’s Journey… DON’T BOTHER!

This is a company that does not listen to it’s players. No matter what criticism you have or suggestion for making the game better they ignore it. They also delete any negative comments in order to make their games look better or more positive than they actually are. In all fairness they have said that their one game (June’s Journey) is heading to a pay for play, but for people that have been playing for years, it’s a pretty poor attitude. They have essentially taken all the fun out of the game, made it a stressful game to play, with no sense of accomplishment. One of their ways of making money is to have their players watch a 30 second ad, but since they have taken over it takes almost a minute and a half to watch the ads, you spend your time watching a spinning wheel. This is an error on their part because other games don’t do that. But they do nothing to fix these aggravations. Personally I play games for a distraction and because I am competitive, but I don’t need to be stressed out all the time, and the way this game is being “abused” the stress keeps coming every week because of the bad decisions this company makes…. Totally Sucks.

Playtika has turned JJ into a $$$ Kraken!

What once was a wonderful game that played fairly, reasonably and was customer-oriented has morphed into nothing more than a kraken of unabashed and slimy, smarmy, greed. The company is an 11 billion $ bully, quite literally. Since Playtika bought out Wooga (its creator) it has become shamelessly time wasting, quality-reducing, mean-spirited, stunningly stingy, and unabashedly money-grubbing. Capitalism is a good thing but this is utterly ridiculous. Upon its purchase, Playtika took what had become a carefully (and caringly) cultivated target market of (comparatively) older, highly loyal, long-playing, and most importantly, willing, *and able* to spend grotesque amounts of money-which originally, heavily supported its business model. However, since the take over, it is glaringly obvious that its target audience has not only been intentionally mutated but mutilated as well. Incoming, new players have obviously always been a major contributor to a game’s profitability however this game was one that used a little more finesse and strategy. Bullying your long-playing, long-devoted and unusually loyal market is needless, lazy and vulgar. In fact, the blatant and obvious greed is the very definition of “Vulgar”. The quality of the game itself has been so heavily diluted- using thin guises such as implementing tools of direct interactions, competitions, etc to significantly increase profits while simultaneously reducing players’ game-play experience, self-governance abilities, all rewards, and advancement capabilities is just embarrassing. Have you NO shame Playtika? Recently, (and in correlation with) the new aspects of play, they have allowed glaringly obvious software-security weaknesses enabling player corruption -vastly increasing their positions and rewards within the game. Rather than admit their errors and fixing the problem, they have punished the entire community and used the same tools to greatly increase profits. So, as players we are suffering while they are laughing at us all the way to the bank. What began as a lovely, small, highly creative and customer-dedicated company, Wooga has sold out to an absolute monster in the on-line gaming industry, Playtika. Just stay away. They are not deserving of your time or a single penny from your pocket. Shame on you, Playtika!

have been playing june from the very beginning, loved it all , the artwork, the game my island, since the takeover by playtika the fun has diminished with almost all changes and pressure up to play more, spend more and their latest change in the coffeelounge an indecent moneygrab has left everybody in an uproar, creating havoc and anger and a boycott, i'd say spoiled a beautiful game!

Bring Back our lounge as it was

I have played JJ over two years. I thoroughly enjoyed decorating my island, coffee time and interacting with my team. With Playtika's new policies that's all ruined. I was spending real money but no more.

Seriously disappointed

I have spent 'real' money on this game, willingly, in order to share coffees with team members, and to support work on the game; however with the continued decline in gaming gain, expectation of more and more money spent, and taking away what has been an important aspect of the game - the ability to gift coffee without restriction, I no longer even want to play the game, let alone spend money. Seriously amazed that a company can take what was a great game, fun to play, interactive with others around the world, and literally take all the fun out of it.

Dramatic gameplay changes to one of…

Dramatic gameplay changes to one of their games -June’s Journey- has created immense dissatisfaction from both long time and short time players. Their explanation doesn’t fall in line with corrections that could have been made to correct a gameplay problem. Therefore, the obvious conclusion is that a revenue generating scheme has been implemented that cuts to the heart of team building. Interestingly, the developer promoted the idea and benefits of team building a little over a year ago by setting up a meeting lounge within the game and now have all but destroyed the core essence of utilizing it.
Apparently developers didn’t think through ramifications and created a monster, and in trying to correct, once again didn’t think through and they themselves have become the monster. Very sad and unfortunate as this was a lovely game at one time.

June's Journey

They took away our ability to send energy to our team mates by paying for it with actual $'s therefore there's absolutely no reason for us to spend money with this company. I don't know what kind of people they have working for them but surely they're not Mensa candidates,

It used to be wonderful

It used to be wonderful, fun, creative, social game! Not anymore! Every change made lately has ruined the game step by step and showed only owners' greed. The players are unable to play this game without spending real money, lot of it if they want to play regulary and participate in comps and DL. I am leaving this game regreting only wonderful people from my team, nothing else!

With the recent decision to limit coffee they have/are destroying the best part of the game: team togetherness. We cared what was happening to each other and encouraged participation in all aspects of the game. No More. I am appalled by the disrespect this company and it's representatives have shown their patrons. Wake up soon and change coffee time back or you will not have to worry about increasing revenue because you will not have a company left! Dario, this is not screaming this is stating a fact!
