Plant World Seeds Reviews 

We have been customers for thirty years and have mixed experiences. This year, of the seven Meconopsis species only one germinated (poorly). I sowed seed some of which was five or six years old on the same day and got excellent germination. In general we have had much better germination success with other suppliers. The service is good but many of the seeds are not viable. Are there storage issues?

Bought over 25 varieties of seeds (3 packets of each), vernalised them in moist compost and only 6 varieties seemed viable. There were after many weeks with correct moisture & temps either no germination or 1 or 2 seedlings. Given Ive had three packets of each there should have been a better yield. I dont expect 100% germination, but here is clearly an issue here. Seed stock could be old or harvested before viable. Buyer beware. Dont trust this seed provider, they are not reliable. Iam now £200 out of pocket. They did not reply to my email. No legitimate customer service or accountability.

Ordering was fine - but due to no phyto-certificate (not possible to get) the seeds never arrived. This will be an issue for anyone ordering from the EU and therefore the company should provide it for all orders.

No, it’s not a matter of paying customs. Without a phytocertificate you
Will not get the seeds. So effectively you are throwing money out the window if you are in the EU and order as a private person (because you cannot get a phytocertificate from plant world seeds).

Nice selection of seeds, however shipping costs are a little on the high side and delivery is slow.

Good delivery times and good germination rates, even for difficult species.

Use them often and never disappointed, new website is well constructed unlike many sites.

Good range of uncommon seeds. Unfortunately my experience was that many failed to germinate, even a year after sowing, which points to the seeds not being sufficiently fresh at point of sale. This applied particularly to half hardy bulb seeds. Customer service sent replacements but germination rates were still poor. Disappointing overall.

The tomato seeds I ordered ( #8014053679 ) had a very low germination rate.

Ordered some packs of seeds for a special occasion and made a special request to the company which they fulfilled. Very grateful for an excellent service.

According to the prison guards I didn't have a Phyto-sanitary butt wipe certificate your Honor???? Tried very hard to accomplish that , but was refused, do to esotaric
atmosphere anomolies. Maybe , if there really is a watcher, not condoning this trivial certification ; UK would send me a app to fill out .Someone needs to stop their nose bleed. PlantWorld Seeds knew I required a Phyto-sanitary certificate and did not ask if I produced one.I was not allowed to have one..

If you are ordering from the United States there is a permit you need to have, it is free you just have to apply for it. They will help with any information you need.

The seeds I received failed to germinate. I contacted Plant world seeds. My call was taken by a very helpful lady who arranged for replacement seeds to be sent. These arrived in a couple of days.
