Great experience from the very start.
Left a note on my order about being a disabled wheelchair user and wouldn't be able to move the tiles myself from the kerbside delivery. A couple days later had a phonecall to discuss options for delivery and was told that they could arrange for a courier to deliver the tiles (later than originally intended, but still before I needed them) and that the corier would place them anywhere in my home that I needed them.
The courier who came out was incredibly nice, friendly, helpful, cheerful and professional. I've got to try and find his business to leave him a review, that's how impressed we were.
Overall I would 100% recommended Planet Tiles to anybody, but particularly to those with a physical limitations.
Thank you very much to the customer service personnel, the courier and Planet Tiles themselves!

A well organised company with good communication
Communication with the company was always good. I phoned months ago to discuss what we needed and the staff were very helpful. We finally got round to ordering the tiles recently and emails were sent informing us of each step. A phone call was necessary because the tiles were not delivered as expected but the member of staff who answered my call was really helpful and did what he could. I would not recommend the courier service they use but the tile company were really good. The tiles are fantastic and arrived in excellent condition because they had been packaged so well and carefully.

Don't get samples from here
My brother showed me a tile sample he had ordered. I liked it and (despite the £3 postage charge) ordered the same sample tile to show to my family with a view to doing up our bathroom. Without further contact, Planet Tile went and cancelled my order (refund not arriving back for several days) because my brother and I happen to live in the same city which apparently contravenes their 'rules' about handing out tile samples.
High handed and unhelpful bunch. I shall shop elsewhere.

We’ve reviewed your order and wanted to clarify the situation. A full order (112 tiles) of the Gelato Tutti Frutti Terrazzo tile was placed on 3rd May. Yesterday (29th October), a sample order for the same tile was placed under the same account, which was automatically cancelled — as our system only allows samples to be sent to customers who haven’t already purchased the same tile.
Around 20 minutes later, another sample order for the same tile was placed using a different account, with the same surname and a nearby delivery address. This was also flagged by our system, which is designed to identify duplicate or related sample requests. It’s something we occasionally see when customers have already completed a project and need a small number of extra tiles but try to reorder through the free sample service to avoid delivery costs.
In this case, the order was cancelled in line with our policy, and a full refund was issued immediately (though it may take a few days to appear depending on your bank).
If you’d like to discuss this further or place an order for additional tiles, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer service team.

Nice tiles, poor packaging
The tiles are nice however the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. Many came with severely water damaged cardboard which had almost disintegrated and cellophane wrap on porcelain tiles is a recipe for disaster. Edges were chipped/damaged therefore the 10% waste was not enough to ensure there were spares. Tiler commented that the glaze was very thin and blamed this for additional damage during fitting - i have no way to verify this of course but perhaps this explains why they didnt travel well.

Great experience including a return
Ordered a sample which was delivered quickly. I then went on to order a few boxes of the same tiles which were delivered on time and extremely well packaged (pallet).
I had a leftover box of tiles which I returned. Unfortunately, most of the returned tiles were broken in transit but I was sent clear photos and a refund for the surviving tiles was processed quickly. Thank you!

Beautiful tiles arrived in ship shape…
Beautiful tiles arrived in ship shape condition in record time. They are not laid yet but I inspected all of the boxes pulling out random tiles and everything looks perfect. Only thing is they arrived on a wood pallet and we are in a townhouse so have no lawn and no driveway to leave things. The delivery man would not put them on the sidewalk by the door. He left the pallet of tiles in the street. This cannot be an acceptable practice! As you know tiny tile boxes are like lead and take forever to move. We had to hurry like crazy bringing them in so it did not cause an accident.

We understand your frustration regarding the delivery. All our deliveries are made on a kerbside basis, and as we use external logistics partners, their drivers must follow the rules set by their own company, which includes restrictions on moving goods onto private property. Unfortunately, this is not something we’re able to control, but we do encourage customers to leave a note on their order if they do have any delivery instructions, and will do what we can to accommodate.
We hope the delivery experience hasn’t overshadowed the rest of your experience with us. We really appreciate your feedback and will look into this with the company who made the delivery.

Really easy website to navigate, so easy to order with all information clearly laid out. I searched and searched for porcelain…
I searched and searched for porcelain green tiles and finally found them at Planet Tiles. I bought the Levany green tiles and absolutely love them. I rang up customer services a few times with various questions and each time was a pleasure. The delivery was on time and all packed appropriately. The tiles are divine. I did get a sample as I wanted to check the colour before ordering. I will share a pic of my feature wall soon. 5 stars from me for the entire process, from website to ordering to customer service to the final product arriving. I will definitely be purchasing again.
