Was expecting much more
So I recently placed an order of a beautiful YSL shearling cape threw this retailer and I'm not really that excited with how my purchase went on
My order was accepted the next day I placed it, the item came extremelly fast, like the very next day! The package was very well protected and it was wrapped up with a security tape all around it, lol took me several minutes to unwrap it :P
What seemed strange to me was the fact that the box looked kinda small for what I ordered but when I opened it I realised why; they have placed the cape vertically to the box instead of lied down as most of my coats/jackets have been delivered to me in the past.
I appreciated that the item came inside a mesh protecting bag - although I would prefer a cotton one since this fabric isn't ideal for cloathing generally- and with a hanger although it was the wrong one, and this is my biggest complain! You can't really hang such an expensive and delicate garment on a shirt's hanger and by another brand, Prada's specifically. This lead the cape's shoulders to have bumps and looking awkard! I placed it in one of my own professional hangers and I hope in time the will adapt to the hangers shape. I think having a YSL bag and hanger escorting the cape would be great!
Luckily, asside of that misstep, the item was in an awesome state; genuine, clean, and it had the brand's labels attached. The item seemed to be unworn, but I can't really be sure for that
What makes me lower my rating is the fact that their return policy sucks, really! They don't provide free returns and not only that but their acceptive returns period starts the very moment that your order is being sent to you! I've never experienced that again with another retailer in all the time I've been shopping online. 14 days period time to return your item is quite stressful for the client, especially when return labels aren't provided. And I live in Europe, ordering from Europe.. This seems strange to me
Another complain of mine is that they took a long time to respond to the 2 e-mails I sended them, aproximatelly 3-5 days for each
In conclusion I would recommend this retailer to a friend. But for someone that doesn't know his/hers measurements precisly and then need to return the item, it will be a nightmare I guess. Because replies to e-mails are slow and as far as I know they don't have a on-line chat service available.
It's really your choice guys. So this was my experience, I hope I was helpful for you and that my purchase lasts me a life time :D Maybe in the future I might re-consinder the opinion I have in my mind for PL-LINE for now
