DO NOT ORDER! Rude, refusing to reply to emails, disgusting
I really wanted to write a positive review because their pyjamas look beautiful, but I ran into several issues.
If you’re ordering from anywhere OUTSIDE Australia, you’re going to be stung with seriously hefty import fees (mine was £150 to the UK after already paying near £350 for the items themselves!) – which you’re not made aware of at check out. I was told it would be impossible to add a message for every country at check out but even a one liner that covers everything would’ve been sufficient.
Ie. “If you’re ordering to the UK, Canada etc, please bear in mind large import fees will apply.”
They do have a Shipping tab at the bottom of their site which explains this but I doubt many people would look at that before going to checkout if the company says they ship internationally and you’re already pay a $45 shipping cost!
They said if I didn’t pay the import fees, my package would be destroyed rather than returned to sender. They also wouldn’t refund the shipping cost because they already absorb the fee. I’m absorbing an extortionate import fee so I was very surprised that after paying £350, they refused to refund $45 shipping when it says free shipping on their site. They also won’t refund any sale items or items that are shipped outside Australia so bear this in mind.
I’m now waiting for a refund on the discount for 7 items I ordered. I could only apply it to 5 items in my basket which made the discount 20% and not 25% on my entire basket and so I lost out on another $50 OR to simply redirect the parcel to an Australian address - which DHL said was totally possible, simple to do, but needed to be authorised from the sender.
This is the response I received:
I really do not have the time to read through your response.
We are in no way obligated to give you a special discount on anything. We have our discounts and offers set up for a reason, and just because it would be convenient to you to have the winter sets included in the bridal shop, is completely irrelevant. You were in no way shape or form forced to place an order with us. If you were unhappy with the terms of your order, you should have bought elsewhere.
Best wishes and this is the last email I will be replying to.
I will not be recommending or ordering again.
