Super great customer service! When the plugin I was using didn't work they were more than willing to not only refund me the cost of the plugin with NO HASSLE but they also offered me time with a developer and a screen share to help figure out the problem.
So, what was originally a bad experience turned out to be a GREAT experience. The problem was solved and I'm happily using my new plugin!

I have already purchased many softwares, and most of them served in my profession.
The after-sales service is very good because I have already had problems following updates of Final Cut, and a solution has always been found.
The software could be a little more intuitive to use, but for the price it's very nice.

I've been using PFS plugins, effects and transitions for over ten years now. Love their creativity and it saves me a lot of time. Offcourse now and then after an update from fcpx there is some action needed, but the support from the Pixel Film Studios Support is good and fast. Please keep on continuing the good work!

After an initial delay in getting a support response, the team did eventually get back to me and helped me on the spot! - After being unable to get the plugin working after the FCPX update, they called me in the UK and took over my computer screen and were able to diagnose and fix the problem. I honestly am so grateful for what they did for me tonight at a moments notice. Really pleased as the problem was a tricky one to solve and couldn’t have for it myself.

I purchased a plugin called „brush glow“ and it doesn’t work with FCPXI. I contacted them the same day (8 days ago) and I only got an automated answer with a link to a so called „awesome ticket“. In there i understood that they are aware about this issue, but don’t mention it on there product site. That would make everybody’s life much easier. They also say they are working on it and the customers need to check there website for updates, instead of getting informed from them. Till today no response from them.

I’ve been using FCPX Stabilizer 2.0, and it’s been a game-changer! It works pretty well most of the time. You can stabilize your footage with just one click, and the process is super fast.
I’ve had a couple of issues with the plugin
Sometimes, if I add the wrong effects, like the 4K plugin to a 1080p footage, it shows an error message. In that case, I just close the FCP and reopen the app. Another issue I’ve run into is that when a new update for FCP is released, sometimes the plugin doesn’t work. I contacted the customer care team about this, and they said they’re launching an update for the plugin.
Overall, I am happy with the plugins. If any issues happen, customer care is there for support, which is a good positive.

Top notch service, I had the Red Screen Error and contached the Help Center and they gave me great troubleshooting advice and then a link for resolving the issue and that worked great, they also offered the possibility of remotley fixing it for me if that wasnt successful, Im very happy with the outcome

i initially had difficulties getting a pretty simple installation issue corrected after I bought one of their plugins. However, when they responded, they sorted things out really nicely. I also find several of their plug-ins to be uniquely useful in offering animations for figures useful in explaining processes and text in videos.
Be careful when you place an order on their website because the entire page grays out, making you unable to see if you've entered your email address correctly. When you download the plugins, you'll need to re-enter your email, and, if you have a keystroke wrong--you can have a time getting the email issue sorted out. In my later orders, PFS added my email address at the top of the invoice, which would enable anyone completing a download to just enter whatever keystrokes they typed in blind when the screen grayed out. Good feature--I hope they keep it.

First of all...the pluggins suck. I've never been able to successful use them and they look right. NUMBER TWO: The CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS 100% TRASH. I don't believe anyone works there. They have been charging my account. I can't reset my password to STOP them and they won't answer ANY of the 6 tickets I've submitted. Then when I emailed them, I got a reply automatically that set submit a ticket. I'm so mad at these people right now. DO NOT BUY!
UPDATE 9/16/24:
I finally heard from customer support. They issued me a refund and a sincere apology for the gap in communication. Therefore, I am upgrading my experience to a 3/5.

After purchasing the FCPX Disintegrate plugin from Pixel Film Studios, I was having a number of problems with the software crashing on my computer.
I reached out to Pixel and they helped me try to identify the problem by email. Later, I ended speaking directly with one of their developers named Colin who was very helpful and took the time to look in to what was causing the problem. While not everything was solved in the end, to no fault of Colin, I was very impressed with their customer service.

If you are a FCP user, no doubt, PFS is absolutely the easiest and most efficient way to insert the best effects, titles, transitions, etc. into your projects. More important, I recently had an issue where something (for the very first time) was not working perfectly. They did a screen share and a phone call to find and fix my problem. That is first class amazing customer service. I'll forever be a PFS user and I recommend you should be as well!

I was overwhelmingly impressed today by the high level of technical support I received from Colin at Pixel Film Studios (PFS). I had Final Cut Pro problems on both the computers I use for video editing. I was pulling my hair out! I connected with Colin and, straight way, he connected to my computer remotely and worked his magic. I was so very impressed with his skill both in terms of identifying the problems and then fixing them. I was truly worried that I would not be able to meet an important deadline but Colin promptly, politely and quickly solved all my problems. If only all technical support was this good. I was looking for an alternative to the "other" VFX players in the FCP plugins game ever since they went to a subscription model (that will fail). After looking through a bunch of Youtube videos last night, I came across PFS web page. I'm just blown away at the selection of options and pricing. The ones I was interested in the most were the 3d tracking options, which MVFX now forces you into a yearly subscription of over $400 and you will NEVER own it. I guess their revenue is down and they think the subscription model is their last hope. Unfortunately, there is a huge backlash in the community (FB, Reddit, YT) over this decision. Hence the reason I've switched to PFS. They have great support and actually make an effort to help you whereas the other company blames me for my software/hardware configurations when my system constantly crashes using their plugins. You have to use it a certain way...not your way. Trying to adjust a parameter and having it crash is my inability to use the software? Yikes. They actually flagged my review on TP because it wasn't a "real experience" as opposed to all their "invited" reviews. Never bite the hand that feeds you. I'm moving on just for trying to censor me.
Thanks PFS for all your options and look forward to using them.
