The map view is what makes it click
I've been using PitchMap daily for a long stretch now, usually hours at a time, and the map is still the thing that keeps me coming back. Instead of scrolling a feed, you actually see what's happening around you - events, people, groups, even good spots to meet up - all laid out geographically. It sounds like a small difference but it completely changes how you find things.
I've hosted events through it, posted ads in the opportunities section, and built out my own group and community with an inner circle, and all of that has been straightforward to set up. The filters deserve a mention too: they're precise enough that I can narrow down to exactly the kind of people or activity I'm looking for instead of wading through noise.
Travel mode is my favorite feature. Being able to drop into another city and immediately see the scene there has made connecting with people around the world genuinely easy rather than a chore. They're also building out an AI agent called Cody, which I'm curious to see in action.
