Very disappointing
Very disappointing ! I ordered the vegan sharwama box yesterday and began to eat it as I was eating I looked at the vegan meat and thought that looks a lot like chicken ! so we called the restaurant to check and to my amazement they said it was a website error and it was in fact chicken. My partner spoke to the worker and he spoke to the manager they specifically said to raise a dispute with deliveroo and as a good will gesture they would provide us with a replacement meal. So the following day my partner went down to get this so called good will replacement meal and they had the cheek to accuse him of just trying to get free food. I called the restaurant and the man on the phone spoke calmly however with no remorse for the fact that I had consumed meat after it had been sold as vegan, his words were how could you not tell. I find it disgusting that he had the cheek to one blame me for eating something they falsely advertised and somewhat dangerous as people can die from allergies when these issues occur, and secondly to have the cheek to say we were trying to obtain free food. I will never go into this shop again after trying to support local businesses and this one since the day they opened. I tend to not leave bad reviews but justice should be served where It is due ! very very disappointing two days in a row !
